With our 14yr old son we decided to try this newly open Club Med village (opened in Dec 2022) and booked 6 nights in a Junior Family Suite. We have been to other villages in Asia but this stay has been the best so far. The GO teams are just outstanding, always there for you with big smiles making you regret not booking a longer stay. The building has been fully renovated and the room we stayed in was spacious for the 3 of us and well equipped, We rented the ski equipment from Club Med and all were brand new with good selection depending of level and preferences. Our son took the ski for the first 2 days and wanted to try snowboarding and when we approached the ski team they just gave him the snowboard gears for the remaining of the stay. he was then able to either ski or snowboard depending of the mood! Even if the occupancy was between 95 to 100% we never felt it was full and didn't have any problems finding tables at the restaurant or having to queue to get food. Variety is very good with fresh products and the famous Hokkaido icecream. Kiroro ski domain is maybe a bit small if you are used to Alps resorts but enough to have some fun while waiting for the hot wine to be served at the Club Med bar in the afternoon. We'll definitively come back next year to this village.

Not only is the location amazing, but the GOs, Ski Instructors, Restaurant Staff, Receptionists and most importantly the amazing Chief de Village, Merlin, were far beyond exceptional and made our trip one of the most memorable. From the moment we landed at the airport we were already taken care of by the extremely punctual and professional transport service and once we had reached the actual resort we were immediately greeted with amazing hospitality and warmth. All our baggage and rooms were sorted within minutes and we were all set to begin enjoying the plethora of activities provided by the resort. Furthermore the Ski rental service was exceptionally fast and convenient in comparison to Grand Hirafu, Niseko, where the ski rentals were separate from the lodging.
Not to mention, the mountain itself was vastly more enjoyable as the crowds were not as hectic and overwhelming as other places I have visited in the Niseko area. The nightly entertainment was outstanding and it must be mentioned that everyone involved in the shows every night went above and beyond. The rooms were spacious, modern and well furnished with enough space to comfortably manage all our luggage and even some snowboarding gear, the ski lockers were just as convenient and sizeable.
On top of all this, the food for breakfast lunch and dinner were beyond all expectations and provided a wide variety of Western and Asian cuisine, and every meal felt special as we sat and got to know/catch up with the GOs and ski instructors.
I would like to give a special thank you to Anna and the reception staff for making every logistical aspect of this trip so smooth and enjoyable and to Nino, Kei, Miltos and Ruari for making every day out on the slopes so awesome. At this point i'd probably just name everyone there who made this trip special and this review would be way too long so i'm just going to say a huge thanks to everyone i've had the privilege of meeting at Club Med Kiroro Peak.
Last and definitely not least, I would like to give the biggest thanks to Merlin for her amazing hospitality and warmth for helping us orchestrate this entire trip, your contagious positive spirit and comforting energy really resonated with my friends and I and I am so lucky to have experienced this trip with you and your amazing team.

Our first trip to Club Med Kiroro Peak will certainly bring many return trips in the future. The snow and ski conditions were exactly what we were looking forward to, whilst Kiroro Peak was above and beyond. Being the lunar new year week, the resort was full but we never felt overwhelmed and there was always adequate room for dining and entertainment without us even realising how many people were at the resort. The skiing was ski in ski out, fantastic for hitting the slopes without any hassle. The rooms were immaculate (thanks to the hardworking cleaners) we had a tatami room facing the slopes with Japanese robes to match. There were 2 restaurants to dine in with a marvellous selection of food from both sides. The food really deserves special mention, we were impressed by both the quality and variety, as well as the remarkable chefs at the helm, not forgetting the restaurant staff who ensured tables were always spotless and well laid out. The entertainment throughout was spectacular, often with the talented GOs themselves at the helm. We are both impressed and grateful to the GOs and staff who made our holiday seamless, delightful and exactly what a fantastic holiday should be. Whilst unable to name every single person we came across, we’ll like to thank them all and in particular the following whom we managed to spend more time with or interact with, and who impressed us with their warmth, professionalism, and infectious energy. Food: You do not need to worry at all on the food choices here as Clubmed Kiror Peak will deliver buffet spreads for every meal that exceeds your expectations. From alaskan King crab, to mega chriashi Don that I promise you had never experience before, and lastly a FOC yakiniku experience with private transport experience. Clubmed kiroro get your hokkaido dining experience covered.
Service: Merlin, the village Chief and her team of GO go the extra mile to make sure that you are takemcare of. I was injured due to my own carelessness during my stay and before I know its the whole clubmed knows that I am on clutches and made sure I had my ice bag on time ns checked in on me regularly at every opportunity to make sure I am comfortable. Activities: the highlight of the trip is definitely skiing in the excellent powdered snow in kiroro peak. The ski equipments are of high quality and cost you only~37USD per day to rent the ski boots , ski as well as helmet (ski jacket and pants are available for rent too!). There are options of ski lessons ( from beginners to level 6) as well as free leisure ski. I Went for the beginners lessons which lasted for 4 hours and my instructor Tomu and Etah were patient and meticulous and by the end of the lesson, I have already mastered the basics if skiing. Highly recommend to join the FREE lessons if you wish to pick up skiing or to improve your skills

Truly a memorable and immersive experience at Club Med Kiroro for our two families of 9. This was our second Club Med experience but the first was many years ago. We thought it could not get better, yet to our surprise, Club Med Kiroro exceeded our high expectations due to the inspiring @Merlin as the Chief de Village and her incredible GO and GE team. The warm welcome started from the moment we were picked up at the airport, followed by the GO’s greeting us with ‘Welcome Home’ when we arrived at the lobby and efficiently checking us into our spacious rooms, then being expertly fitted with our snow gear, the list goes on … Nothing was ever a problem for any of the team. Without doubt, it was world class service. To be honest, we were initially overwhelmed (and may have forgotten!) about the level of attention and interaction by the GO’s but they all won our hearts by the end of our stay. The resort, facilities, bedrooms, dining and lounge areas were new, impeccable and comfortable. The snowfield was a definite highlight and we thoroughly enjoyed skiing/snowboarding in powder snow and interesting runs. Another highlight is the yakiniku restaurant at Kiroro Grand which had terrific atmosphere and excellent dining. The final highlight to share was the very special 18th birthday celebration organised for my son by @Merlin, @ Dina, @Alex and the team - the generosity, thoughtfulness and effort moved us. Thank you for the unforgettable memories @Merlin, @Rovin, @Dina, @Alex, @Tiffany, @Khan, @Pamela, @Alan, @Agathe, @Lucas, @Anjas, @Tong, @Azura, @Dince, @John, the wonderful chef (who made our favourite Indonesian dessert several times during our stay) and everyone in the team! We stayed 8 days at Club Med Kiroro. The accommodations at the resort were top-notch. We had an amazing experience.
Special thanks go to Merlin (manager). Throughout our stay Merlin was extremely professional and always available to assist us with any issues. She went out of her way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. She always took time to check in with us to ensure everything was okay. Another thing that impressed us was how well Merlin handled her staff and look after them. She is an inspirational leader.
The ski experience at Kiroro was phenomenal. Thanks for the entire ski team for making our ski experience so incredible. Ethan was a fantastic ski instructor for my children. He was patient and kind with them and was able to teach the basics of skiing in a way that was both fun and educational. My children felt comfortable and confident under his instruction, and they were able to improve their skills quickly. One of the things stood out to me was his ability to connect with children and to create positive and encouraging learning environment for my kids, and they always looked forward to their lessons with him. I highly recommend Ethan as a ski instructor for families with children.
The GOs at Kiroro were the friendliest and warmest people we’ve ever met! All the staff were wonderful to us, but I would like to highlight a few. Naz and Mersila were incredibly friendly and welcoming from day one. They were always willing to chat with us. They made us feel like we were at home and their company made the experience that much more enjoyable. Anjas's friendly and welcoming personality made our stay more enjoyable and pleasant. He was always willing to go extra mile to make sure we were happy. Nalika impressed me with her extensive knowledge of the resort's wine selection. She was able to recommend several wines that perfectly matched my taste and preferences. She served each glass of wine with care and making sure that it was at the perfect temperature and that the presentation was impeccable. Opec made us feel special! He went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. The food and dining at the resort was excellent thanks to chef John. He always checked in with us that we were happy with our meals. He surprised us with some delicious special dishes. We were very grateful to the service team at the restaurant, special thanks to Alex, Maki and Dina. Thank you for many others who made us very special at Club Med Kiroro.

We have been well and truly spoilt in our experience with Club Med Kiroro Peak, to such a point that it will be the yardstick for every future travel experience. We mostly stay in 5-star resorts and hotels throughout Australasia, and the others do not even compare to Club Med Kiroro Peak. The individualised approach to each and every patron is surprising (but greatly appreciated!) Each staff member is genuinely welcoming and friendly, and will go out of their way to make your stay memorable and as exceptional as it can be. Kiroro Peak is in safe hands with their general manager Haily, who is extremely industrious and committed to ensuring your needs are well taken care of throughout your entire stay. We were amazed to see her often there very early (as early risers) until late at night, ensuring the resort continues to hum (and that it did!) From the moment we were welcomed by Agathe, our stay has been truly memorable. Each and every staff KP member rose to the Club Med reputation, and made our holiday exceptional. Caitee in the ski hire shop was wonderfully warm and friendly to us immediately, whilst our daughter eagerly looked forward to greeting Winter every morning for breakfast (who was her firm staff favourite -Winter knew her drinks order from day 1!) Chefs, bar and head waitstaff including Riccardo, Mumin and Yong were very friendly and enthusiastic, whilst Anais in the resort shop was also extremely helpful and charming. The Club Med ski instructors, led aptly by Yutaro at the helm, were also standouts. Tom and Brayden were very friendly and were great table company at meals, whilst Mersila had outstanding patience and was unconditionally supportive of us mediocre skiers! The standout instructor was Anna, who traipsed up and down the mountain all day with my husband (who was not deterred from skiing despite the lifts being out of action). She remained enthusiastic throughout the repeated 9 mountain hikes with him! Early season conditions can't be helped (that's mother nature and global warming for us) and despite this being completely out of the control of Club Med Kiroro Peak, the staff made our stay everything it was. Club Med Kiroro Peak is so much more than powder! Thank you!!

There are ski trips and there are EPIC ski holidays. Club Med Kiroro clearly falls in the latter camp. From the moment we got off the shuttle bus, we were met with smiles, music and the warmest hospitality from the resort team otherwise known as the GOs.
Tiffany was assigned as our personalised guest relations officer upon our arrival. From helping us get kitted out for our ski lessons, to booking our yakiniku restaurant, to getting pain relief patches, she went above and beyond to make sure that we were well taken care of every step of the way.
The rooms are newly renovated after taking over from the previous Sheraton Kiroro. Each room comes with thoughtful touches such as comfy mattress toppers, hand and body moisturisers and an air humidifier for a truly comfortable stay.
Lunch and dinner menu rotates on a regular basis and we were treated to a smorgasbord of gourmet delicacies from local Japanese cuisine with tempura and sashimi nights to international fare from steaks to curries to raclette. The only downside is an expanding waistline.
Throughout our stay, the GOs will also join us to interact and share stories. We met Oshgur and Hasket the bar tending team from Turkey, our snowboard instructors Jake and Chris, and Nikkie, the boutique manager who also doubles ups as sandwich and waffle maker during tea break. We also had the opportunity to meet Edward, whose primary role was behind the scenes in the office overseeing rooms and reservations. He took the time to step out from the office, to join us for dinner and after dinner drinks and even helped carry our bags upon our departure.
I'll be remiss if I didn't mention the chief of village, Merlin and her lieutenant Rovin, the force that brings the magic together. They run a tight ship while managing, hosting, singing and dancing into the hearts of the guests. And if you are lucky, you'll even get to try Merlin's super delicious home cooked curries during your stay.
This holiday has been truly magical and even before we left the resort, we were already planning for our return. This is a true testament of how awesome this holiday has been.

Me, my hubby came here after it was newly renovated. It's a relatively small ClubMed so it felt super cozy and exclusive. Wonderful performance by the staffs every night. This ClubMed doesn't allow kids thats below 12, so it's very quiet and cool ;) There are many ski and snowboarding instructors at different levels, and in between my sessions I love the Yoga class by Kevin to flex my muscle. There's an Ofaro (hot bath but not natural hot spring) and cold bath which heals my pain everyday. We got the suite on 4/F that looks out to beautiful snow mountain ❄️

Our first time at club med and it is a unique experience. The hotel is new and the food is nice and well-presented. Group lessons are part of the package as well as the free flow of food and drinks. nighttime performance. Rental of ski and snowboarding equipment is additional but reasonable. I was a little disappointed that Kiroro Grand facilities, such as the Yakiniku and Onsen mentioned in the earlier reviews, were unavailable during our stay.
People are what make a difference here. The friendly GOs and instructors from different parts of the world will help you with your snowboard and ski equipment before and after class, offer you drinks, perform and party with you regardless of their roles. This creates a welcoming environment where people share their stories and experiences. Many thanks to all the GOs. Do not remember all your names, but special mention to Tong, and another Chinese GO at the bar who patiently taught my boy to play pool. Hi, jackets and pants can be rented, but not goggles and gloves - those u need to get on your own. You can ask for the rental rates direct from Clubmed.
Guests from Peak can use facilities in Grand but not the other way round. You can dine at Grand with your relatives, use the on-site onsen as well. There is a regular bus to shuttle you between the 2 resorts.
Shoudnt be an issue. the ski shop is internal to the resort, so they have flexibility on the opening to cater to guests. Else, the ski stop is open in the morning as well, Lesson timings are staggered, but beginner lessons start at around 10am.
There are more places to choose from in the Akaigawa-mura area.
