we have been coming to the Miramonte for several years and love the location and have hung in there with the changes of new owners about 4xs . The rooms and cleanliness have always been an issue. The windows, mirrors, bathroom floors, under the sink - cobwebs, the bathroom holders, mirrors all need to be wiped down. We look forward to the future rooms being remodeled!

Spent an extended weekend in the Palm Springs area and chose this resort ... made the right choice!! The resort is really nice. Good onsite restaurant where we had breakfast as well as lunch and the food was very good. The location is excellent, right on Hwy 111 close to many restaurants, shopping and not far from Palm Springs and the desert. Room was really nice, booked the king size suite which had a separate living area with TV, couch and love seat. There was also a desk and chair. Bathroom was very nice with a roomy shower and separate powder area. Bedroom had big draw curtains to separate the sleeping area from the liiving area if you so desired. Bed was very comfortable. The room had the usual amenities: 2 TV's, mini-fridge, desk and chair, safe, iron and board, hair dryer. Service was very good and the staff kept the room nicely prepared. Resort had a spa on site but we didn;t take advantage of it. There was also a nice outdoor pool as well as a firepit. The onsite restaurant also had patio seating as dii the onsite bar. There was a hotel marketplace (self-serve) that had the usual travel essentials, snack, food, beverages (alcholic and non), ice cream, etc.

A nice relaxing getaway. Would have been better if not for Covid but overall very nice. Was not happy that we had to request towels, shampoo, toilet paper, etc. Room was comfortable but didn't like not have maid service. The pool attendant was extremely nice and kept bringing us ice water. Food choices are numerous but would have appreciated a less costly and more basic choices.

Employees not wearing masks, not enforcing patrons to wear them inside lobby either. It is impossible to get actual poolside service. They hardly walk around. The menus provided to us, were not the menus available. The main poolside menu items were breakfast items (pancakes, eggs Benedict, avocado toast) who wants that poolside? Although a cheeseburger was an option and my husband said that was good. The adult pool is an absolute joke. No poolside service there. Food was left on the side of the pool for hours before someone came to clean it up. Spend the extra money and go over to the Hyatt.

For the level of service and cleanliness, this should be lower than a Motel 6 with over priced rooms and expensive low quality food. Dead bugs, damaged furniture/flooring, hairs, carpet and floor stains, opened toiletries; too many to count.

I checked in at 6pm, dropped off my luggage and went out until 9:30pm.

I came back to the list of problems above. Swapped out of 1st room into a 2nd worse room and finally into a 3rd room.

I had to chlorox wipe and lysol my room after switching into a 3rd and final room at 10:30pm just to fall asleep.

$50 comp at the restaurant provide for the room quality…
2 coffees
3 pancake
2 eggs
Fries
Chicken wrap
$56 I asked if my receipt was correct, they confirmed these are the prices are current and this was my correct receipt for my meal.

The next morning, I asked for my room to be throughly cleaned and made up the next morning. I let them know I did not plan to be back all day. Return at 3pm and nothing was cleaned and reminded from desk. Finally came back at 9pm and the room was still the same. Sad!!!

Upon check out, the front desk person was confused about what the negative experience I shared with her. Apparently, no one passes this type of information to the next person at the front.

The grounds, food, and room were great. However, this property doesn’t seem ready to keep up with service as families are traveling again. We didn’t get our room until 2.5 hours after check-in. Ice machines are not in use, nor ATM machines. Lobby & bathroom for pool guests had some not working sinks & were out of toilet paper. No daily maid service. No room service. We were in need of toilet paper, replenishment of towels and toiletries...as well as trash to be removed. We called to the front desk..the call was either not answered or we were put on hold forever. Guests were just starting to leave trash outside of their room doors that remained there for 2 days. We ended up buying our own toilet paper at the local super market. This is a luxury resort that we paid a lot of money to enjoy and the amenities just weren’t there.

We were looking forward to a little hotel splurge weekend with the kids after being in COVID lockdown for a year. At nearly $400 a night with resort fees and taxes, this was a major disappointment and tremendous waste of money. Our “luxury” (upgraded) room was outdated and dark with banged up furniture, the air conditioner blew only mildly cool air and didn’t really work (we would have had to move rooms if it was summer), the fridge in our room did not work and made noise, the coffee pot in room was something from motel6 in the 90’s, and the bathroom sink did not drain properly. In addition, several high touch surfaces, like light switches, were visibly dirty - so much for COVID cleaning/safety. The pool bar was insanely slow with service and forgot my husbands drink altogether after 30mins of waiting (they brought mine, but not his) - please note, the pool was not busy and I don’t know where the disconnect was with the service. I tried the inside bar for drinks when the pool bar was closed and they poured our $15 Bloody Mary’s into a paper coffee cups because they couldn’t find plastic ones that were pool safe and were too lazy to walk 20 yards to the pool bar to get some. The only good thing I can say is that the grounds were lovely...aside from that, this was wildly overpriced.

I wanted to treat my mom to a nice getaway and came across this property because an influencer/friend posted about it and I wish I wouldn’t have fallen for the trap of beautiful pictures. The property is very nice but everything else falls short from that. Checking in on Wednesday night at 8:30pm to find out restaurant was closed and so was room service. Those are not the hours that are stated online. Check in service felt very basic, I think I would have gotten a more hospitable approach at a Holiday Inn Express. Rooms are “remodeled” but not very clean. Toilet had scuffs on the seat that I had to clean, thank goodness I had disinfectant wipes on me. AC unit is from the 80’s and the noise it makes didn’t help us get a good night sleep as well as mosquitos that somehow made it into the room to bite us (not forgetting to mention I’m 18 weeks pregnant). Sheets are cheap, stiff and scratchy. Next morning we wanted to have coffee and breakfast in our room, turns out they can’t even accommodate room service. The hotel was not busy if they had 8 rooms booked I’d be surprised. Headed over to the restaurant, our waitress was lovely but our basic American breakfast would have been better at Dennys. Pool states they have service which isn’t true, no Pool Person to help with towels and there is a bar but you have to stand up and order if you want something. Beware they don’t even have bottled water so if you want one hope you’re ok with tap water. Second night here was even more awful with a neighbor in the room upstairs you can literally hear every step they take which makes it sound like the ceiling is going to come down. So if you are looking to be treated to great service and truly relax this is not the place at all. Ruined our getaway, wish I would have reserved somewhere else. Today we will drive back home with a bad taste in our mouth and more under bags on our eyes then the ones we came with.

We recently stayed here. They have a guaranteed 4PM check-in and we arrived about 2PM. They front desk staff said that they would let housekeeping know, but the room was not available to us until 5PM. I called a few days before and asked for adjoining rooms or at least rooms close by and they said they would try to accommodate that request. They did make that happen. Upon checking out, there was a $50 upcharge for the 2nd room. I inquired and they said that was the charge to get adjoining rooms. I told the front desk person that it was a request and I would like to know before I have to pay more. Keep in mind that my bill was over $1,000 for incidentals for 2 nights (drinks, food, resort charge, cabana, etc). I was told that is too bad, but they had to change the room type and there was nothing that they can do at this point. Classy move Miramonte. Watch your bill if you choose this hotel - they might try to sneak some charges in on you as well.

Needed a place to spend the night before visiting the Mt. San Jacinto State Park and this was available without having to stay in Palm Springs.
The check-in process was prompt and friendly; the receptionist mentioned that the resort had a present for children if the child could find the elf in the resort. This was a great way for my nine year old to start exploring the lobby, and surrounding areas until he found it. We took a picture and showed it to the front desk, and they gladly gave him a toy. The toy was a great way to start our stay.
The (multiple) fire pits were great because they gave us a bag with everything we needed for smores.
The following morning we had breakfast in the restaurant; great food with friednly service.
I highly appreciated the fact that they offer a Tesla charger!!
Why not an "Excellent" rating? The restaurant was closed for dinner; we went out to dinner and it was not a pleasant experience. This is not the hotel's fault, but can a hotel of this category close the restaurant for dinner?
Over all a great visit.

It is less than 2 miles from the tennis center. I know the resort runs shuttles for Coachella and Stagecoach and they also run shuttles for the tennis tournament. I think they also have specials for the tourney.
