Loved the lodge. Very clean and spacious room, had WiFi, clean linen, just wish the pillows were slightly larger. Check-in was smooth, we paid about $200 for a night, which is reasonable for 4 people family room. There is a vending machine for beverages as well as ice vending machine. The restaurant nearby, Lucky Buck Cafe, is really good, has EV charging, and is open during holidays as well, of course with limited hours. The lodge is located about one hour away from the Yosemite Valley, which is a slight bummer but worked out for us since we came for a day trip inside the valley. Overall, loved our stay and will definitely stay here again next time!
My husband and I wanted to see Yosemite in the winter. So Beautiful. However, I was disappointed with this hotel. During the 3 nights we stayed there the hotel was practically empty. The bedding was really old and thread bare. The pillows were flat and hard. There was a bright security light outside the room window that was on all night. The curtains did not sufficiently shield the room from the light. We needed more toilet paper and room supplies. When I called the front desk they asked that we come and get them. When checking in, it was 30 degrees outside. We were made to wait outside at a window at 6PM at night while they checked us in. Instead of opening up the office door and letting us wait in the warmth. The office hours were supposed to be from 0800 to 10 PM at night. We were charged 5 dollars for amenities which isn't much but frustrated me because I'm still not sure what amenities this was for. The only time I saw anyone from the hotel is when I went to the office and had to ring a bell for service. …
What a treat in the middle of nowhere! Very clean, well maintained and great amenities. Hot tub actually worked! Cute playground and conversation areas. The owners were a little standoffish, it was hard to get extra towels. But overall- terrific place to stay
The hotel is perfectly positioned for the people who want to visit the Yosemite. The room was really nice, big enough for two adults and a girl, quite modern and clean. There is a restaurant just behind the admin building which offers a good choice for dinner and breakfast. Overall quality/price was good. Just to give also a negative note: the man at the reception should smile more :)
One night in this hôtel. Everything was Good, the room, amenities, location, clearing. Not so expensive for an hôtel next to yosemite Owners are nice and the Lucky barn restaurant is ok for dîner. Xxx
Great experience, room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was accommodating and friendly. The property is very nice, playground for the kids and overall very nice. Nice pool, though we didn't have the opportunity to use it.
We were impressed with the Yosemite Westgate Lodge. The room was large, modern and clean. It looked like it had been renovated recently. The price was reasonable considering how close to Yosemite it is. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
Girls trip getaway for a few days of hiking and this met our needs perfectly! Spacious clean rooms and had 3 beds for us 3. Convenient location to get to the valley. Groveland has some great food places to eat! 3rd bed is the sofa bed.
They are so nice and have such nice rooms. Everything is clean. The restaurant next door is fantastic too! They had bear decor outside, a nice playground set with slide, swings, and rock wall. We didn't swim but the pool looked immaculate. The hairdryer setup was even more functional than most places. The shower and bathroom setup was so nice! Great place and very quiet!
First of all the Room was filthy at the time we checked in. Throughout our stay we found critters crawling around near the door. Sheets were stained and staff was unfriendly and not helpful not a hotel that I would recommend or return to.
