Very nice budget hotel for quick stay. Massive comfortable bed!! Very clean, Perfectly working airconditioning, Good location and definitely worth Its price. Quick check in and out. It wouldn’t be an option for longer stay but you can have a rest there when visititing area in budget price.
Staff on arrival very ignorant, walked straight past us and let the door slam in our face as we went to enter reception. Room near the back so at least it was away from the very noisy road, carpark didn’t feel particularly safe but our car wasn’t damaged. Room was ok, fridge door wouldn’t shut properly, cockroach in the bathroom, skimpy on the towels, only one cup for the coffee machine. Breakfast ran out of spoons, napkins, pastries, jellies and then a surly staff member came in and took the syrup away. Difficult to eat cereal and yogurt with a knife and fork! Lots of people complaining. There are plenty of places to stay in Fresno but the rude staff would be the reason never to choose here again.
The office staff was rude from the start. Treating us like gqrbage and making it hard to rent a room. Even though we had q bank issued credit card and the reservation was paid entirely thru priceline they wouldnt rent a room to us without a $200 (now $300) hold in our credit card. We have a successful business 1/2 a block down the street and were dressed professionally. Still we were treated with much disrespect. Also there was a bed bug on the towel in the bathroom. I felt something on my legs while laying in bed with the lights off. Gross. Never again. Don't go here!!
We went to Yosemite in August and at the end of the day we drove to Fresno to send the night. The hotel room was splendid with high quality furniture and a TV. Despite the hotel being full, there was no much noise so we had a very good night of sleep. There is also free parking on-site. Plus, there is a free breakfast included with a good amount of different items. They require to go to the kitchen area, grab your breakfast and eat it in your room to avoid the spread of COVID. There is also plenty of fast-food restaurants near-by and a Walmart not far if you need to eat something or do some last minute shopping.
The Summerfield Inn is super clean, modern, friendly, and outstanding value. On a week long trip visiting National Parks up and down central CA, and staying in a bunch of hotels/motels of similar cost and star rating, the Summerfield was 10X better than the others. Fast, friendly check in, great location (tons of retail and dining options near, little noise), pristine and newly renovated room, hard panel floors no nasty hotel carpet, great bed, good TV, light breakfast and coffee, even laundry on site. If in the area, I would go out of my way to stay here again. The lady who checked me in, who I suspect is a proprietor/owner, is super nice. All good, no bad, stay here if in the area and this is your price point.
This hotel is a very bad place to stay owners are very rude especially the owners wife after staying there off and on for 3 weeks she refused to let us stay again claiming we are too dirty and they don't want you to stay longer than 9 when checkout time is 11 she rushes you out and says to come back later please stay away from this hotel i will be reporting ot to the BBB they don't deserve to be in business rude people very rude
This was a terrific value. The room was clean and comfortable. There were USB plug-ins at bedside, very convenient. The bed was comfortable and had ample fluffy pillows. The Keurig in room was great. I was very pleasantly surprised to find microwave and refrigerator in the room, especially at this low price. They even had those make-your-own waffles at breakfast, as well as cereal, pastries, and fruit. The check-in went smoothly, and the nice lady at check-in offered a very convenient room right next to where I had parked to check in. Having to haul my suitcase only a few feet into the room was really great! The only drawback at all was the fan was a little noisy, but that's not a deal-breaker for me. I will definitely be back.
Management's attitude and hospitality matters to me. When you stay in motels 100+ times a year on business, they all can start to seem the same, until little things differentiate them. The place across the street lost my business because of management, and the Summerfield Inn won it for the same reason. Meera and her family are always so welcoming and friendly. The shower water is hot, the bed comfortable, the TV modern, the environment quiet enough. But the fact that it is run by real people who care sets this motel apart, by a wide margin, from their competitors.
This place was just was I needed. It was the clean, the bed was comfortable. What else do you really need? I left too early for breakfast, so I don't know what that it is like, but I was very satisfied and would feel comfortable staying again.
We stayed here for 1 night and found it better than most motels and inns. Good bed and the room seemed to be clean. We also liked the fact that there were no carpets on the floor. The AC did not work 100% when blowing behind by the window curtains. Simple breakfast.
