Great place to stay near Yosemite highway 99 and many restaurant options. Hot breakfast is a plus! Interestingly they provide earplugs for light sleeper. It appears to be a quieter neighborhood compare to our previous stay in South Fresno.

The rooms were newly remodeled and staff was exceptional. Breakfast was good and included. Better than most free hotel breakfasts. Night staff was excellent at front desk. Veronica, manager was kind and checked us out. Carmen does a fantastic job overseeing the spotless rooms and a staff of skilled housekeepers, who keep everything spotless.
The room we were in needed some weatherstipping on door to help keep it quieter but generally a nice stay.
Hotel is on a busy street but the heater masked the street traffic fairly well. Excellent price. Nice marble and tile shower with glass door. Have stayed in expensive hotels where there are sometimes smelly shower curtains, so this was nice and fresh.

We reserved the room thru the Wyndham App, it stated there would be a Refrigerator in the room, so we decided to purchase a big meal that we could finish the next day, after refrigerating all night. Although the room didn't have a refrigerator, we spoke with Arthur but he didn't care much, said it was the last room, nothing he could do. Other than that Arthur was very helpful. The next morning while checking out I spoke with Sugey, I shared with her that we had to throw away our food because there was no refrigerator in our room. I explained that we mentioned it to Arthur the night before. We also had a problem getting our TV to work properly, when we asked Arthur at the front desk, he didn't do anything about that either, nonetheless we're grateful for the time they put in to assisting us. Sugey was very kind, assured me that something should have been done regarding the refrigerator, I suggested a discount off our room price, possibly someone with the authority to do so can authorize this. In spite of these issues, Sugey was very helpful and polite.

Newly remodel room with 2 beds, new carpet, with slight odor, and remodeled bathroom. There is no tub and the shower was designed for a short person as the shower head less than 6" high. The ceiling of the shower is also low. Vanity has plenty of room for toiletries. The location has no restaurants within walking distance, but a Denny's and Mediterranean restaurant within a couple of miles. Easy access to Highway 41.

Stayed here for 10 days and had a great stay with my girlfriend. The ladies who ran the front desk in the office area were always so helpful and willing to get us whatever we needed. Aside from the noise from the roads, the rooms were very quiet and the guests were not loud at all. We ordered a lot of food through door dash and were given a code for free delivery. Thanks so much everyone on the days inn staff!

The front desk is exceptional at working with you on special requests. Housekeeping is very friendly and does a excellent job in cleaning rooms. I feel very Safe at this Location, security is good. I have not had a chance to enjoy the breakfast yet due to C0-vis if any thing like the staff at this location I am sure it will be excellent. This hotel is located around restaurants shopping and easy access to highways if you do not want to drive there is bus routes also grub hub & other deliveries

Honestly, I never take the time to write reviews, but I know they are very helpful, that's why I do. When we got to the lobby to check in, there were already three guest there. One of those guest was being attended by the front desk young girl, in the badge she was wearing I saw that her name is Valery V, the guest was yelling at the front desk because he did not want to pay the deposit of 200 dlls in cash, the young girl was very kind and without yelling, she explained to the guest that the deposit was refundable as long as he did not do any damage to the room, this person got angry anyway, yelled at her and left hitting the door, and I make this review because I saw many others who said that the front desks were rude, and I want to assure you that this is completely false. The young girl never exploded, and one might think that a teenager would react very badly in a situation like this since teenagers tend to be temperamental, but she wasn't like that. After that, the young girl was very sweet and kind to the rest of us who were waiting to check in, she was very attentive, we saw her twice in the parking lot, she brought towels to some rooms, and she brought coffee to our room for my husband and I . In the same way, in the morning we saw a housekeeper, and she was very kind to us, she didn’t speak English, but she gives us the “good morning”. And at the morning the front desk that checked us out was also very kind, she looked a more older than the other front desk, she had red hair and tattoos, and she was a little more serious than the front desk young girl but in the same way she was very respectful. The person who hires the staff really deserves a congratulations, and please don't be prejudiced, really my husband and I when we saw a teenager in charge of a lobby really doubted if that girl knew what she was doing, but of course she did, I think that in her place I would have yelled at that man to go to hell, and don't get carried away by bad comments, the staff is not bad, what is bad is the treatment that the clients want to give the staff. My only recommendation is to hire a guard, at night my husband and I went out to dinner and returned to the hotel at 1 am and saw that there was a woman at the lobby, and honestly is great that we can get help at the lobby at anytime but at the same time is so dangerous for the women to be there during the nights without a guard

We prepaid for room and were told at check in that we had to pay extra $5 for costs associated with manning front desk. It is like telling you that you need to pay extra if you want sheets on your bed. After paying the bogus fee we went to our room and it was scalding hot and smelled like vomit! fortunately the person at the front desk was very nice and agreed to switch us. Also, it feels very seedy in the neighborhood..

phill455, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We sincerely apologize that your room was less than acceptable at our motel. We can assure you that this is not a typical experience. We continually strive to ensure that our rooms smell fresh and clean without unpleasant evidence. If you are unsatisfied with your room, we always try to relocate should the rooms be available. We are sorry that circumstances prevented you from asking for another room or letting us know that you were not happy with your accommodations as we certainly would do everything possible to correct the matter. We hope that you will give us another opportunity to exceed your expectations should your travels bring you back to our area.

There were literally people drag racing from the parking lot of this hotel down the main road next to the rooms until at least 2 AM (I managed to finally fall asleep sometime after that after taking a sleep aid). It is louder than rooming next to an airport. It's unfortunate because the rooms were fairly nice and the bed was comfortable, but sleep was nearly impossible. There were a few broken things in the room, too - like the drawer that opened all the way by itself even after being taped shut. Breakfast ends at 9am, but nobody will tell you that, or even where it is served, when you check in. When I checked in, the hotel added an additional $5 fee for ??? that wasn't disclosed anywhere prior to booking. Yikes - I won't ever be staying at a Wyndham property again. This was the worst stay I've had in a very long time.

I loved the fresh clean smell as I walked in the room. The entire room & bathroom were super clean, no stains on bedding etc. Price was good. The front desk receptionist, Sugey, was awesome. Not only did she check me in quickly, she also provided me with a Wyndham rewards join card so that I can earn reward points for discounted stays. I have already began earning points!! Thank you Sugey!! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We do not offer airport shuttles at this time. Merced does have both Uber and Lyft services available, as well as several local taxi companies.
We didn't seek out anything fancy, but there is definitely food nearby. Fast food, of course, but also some traditional stuff (think like Chili's and Applebee's). A couple of miles east of the hotel is a fairly upscale mall (don't know the name, but we passed right by it). If you're looking for something more hole-in-the-wall authentic, then maybe a local could answer. Good luck!
