Sonesta ES Suites Fresno

These photos were taken just before we checked out. We barely made a mess with two dogs and two caged cockatiels. $150 cleaning fee for a one night stay was unjustifiable.

Front desk was very friendly and welcoming. They recommended a great Mexican food restaurant a few miles away, when asked for local restaurants.
Room was clean and comfortable, and centrally located.

Only issue with covid restriction was reservations needed for pool, but completely understandable.

My wife and I stayed at our usual North Fresno hotel this past weekend and, once again, our stay met the usual high standards offered by Marriott. Quiet, very clean rooms, easy access to St. Agnes Hospital for family visit, and convenient to local restaurants/shopping. The facility is currently undergoing significant renovations, but was still quiet in the evenings/overnight and the staff was super attentive! Would not hesitate recommending your stay here, despite the renovations. (One of the best hotel breakfasts out there).

I have stayed at Sonesta ES suites twice in the last month. Every time I've had to call to make arrangements, the staff is super friendly and helpful. They are pet friendly with a very reasonable pet fee, and the property is gorgeous. Derek at the front desk was especially kind and helpful during my check-in process, making sure all my needs were tended to and all questions asked. I highly recommend this property for business or pleasure, and especially dog lovers!

I booked this hotel for a one night stay in: Fresno before picking up my mom from the airport (I flew the day before) and heading to Mariposa, CA. This was a great hotel, as it was located near a number shops and restaurants, as well as the Fashion Fair Mall. The hotel however is tucked away on a side street and thus not visible from the main street. The rooms are spacious and feature a kitchenette, as well as living/work space that is separated from the sleeping area by a big TV. The kitchenette was nice, as I was able cook a nice steak dinner. The TV separating the living/sleeping area swiveled depending on which room I was in. The bathroom has sink outside of the separate shower and toilet room. In addition to everything I have mentioned the beds were very comfortable and thus I was able to get a good night’s sleep. Lastly the free breakfast was tasty. My only issue was with my room key card a few times (would not always work) and the front door being locked at just after 7am in the morning. In all this hotel was a good value and will consider it again if am back in the Fresno area.

I had the pleasure of staying at Residence Inn and was checked in by Derek, a friendly veteran who did his best to ensure I had a pleasant stay! In the morning I was similarly checked out by a friendly lady. Service is fantastic here! The only small thing I would say is the room has an interesting scent to it probably due to it having a kitchenette and previous people cooked all sorts of things. Thank you Derek for making my stay enjoyable!

This is no longer a Marriott hotel. It is Sonesta. A few complaints I have that were not addressed by the hotel or corporate headquarters when I asked. The staff is not friendly, not one staff smiled or said hello. The guests on lower floor smoke in the hotel. Leak in ceiling near elevator. No access to laundry room. Refrigerator froze our food. The room smelled like a restaurant. Pet friendly hotel, but not service dog friendly. I was overcharged $300.

Even with the pandemic we were satisfied with the cleanliness and comfortability of this hotel. The staff were great. Special mention to the front office staff Samatha who went out of her way to bring some bathroom necessities because housekeeping is gone for the day. Though there was no continental buffet breakfast that we are used to. The package grab and go breakfast was sufficient. Overall we enjoyed our 2 nights stay in the 2 bedroom suite. Thank you

After reading about this hotel chain I had an opportunity to book a two bedroom suite for a brief family visit. Staff were courteous and helpful upon arrival. The suite was ideal for me and my traveling companion who was working during down time. Our electronics worked seamlessly. Eco friendly amenities, comfortable space for family to visit. Price point more than reasonable. Definitely will consider on my next visit.

Are any of your rooms equipped with ovens with 4burner stove top?

Ours did not have an oven -- it did have a small stove top (1-2 burners) a fridge, and a microwave. You could probably call the hotel and see if they have other rooms that have an oven.
