Jared is a great security gaurd. Over exceeds the expectations during graveyard shift. Someone needs to promote this guy. He walks an extra 15 minutes just to make sure his facility is secure. He go above and beyond
The location is great. Restos and grocery store nearby. Close to a hospital ( in case of an emergency). Government facilities are nearby as well ( if you have any business with them ). The traffic around the area is not that busy.
Location looks run down. Poor service. Guest members unable to locate payed reservations. And finally getting doubled billed for the same room to the company and to me. 10 days later and still no refund on the room or deposit. Will strongly not recommend.
While this motel is an older motel, it does have a fresh and clean feel to it. Transients I thought would be an issue but there was none around by later in the evennig, and none in the morning. Security was right there when our car fob beeped open our car trunk. Nothing was taken, but security was right on top of making sure all was ok
Do not stay at this La Quinta we were robbed by housecleaning they went through our luggage and stole $1000.00 in cash and $800.00 in Visa gift cards the hotel would not do anything about it. We were told that they would look into. We ask for corporate number and she just handed us a paper with the hotel number on it. Stay at your own risk
I love this location, but year after year, the property deteriorates more and more. And the staff (particularly the GM) needs some lessons in how to speak nicely to guests, especially those who stay frequently at LaQuintas.
Roaches garbage filthy rooms. There was dried toothpaste in the sink the room had not been vacuumed the sink drain had a huge piece broke out there were gnats flying out of it it was gross! There is a huge population of homeless all around the facility. It should be closed!
They stay was horrid. We had no towels, we were promised a room with a couch. They even put me on hold and confirmed. When we arrived there was a bed and a chair. We booked 2 nights and checked out, not staying for the second night and was still charged for two nights. Requested a refund and was still charged. We had to call 6 times, included going to the front desk twice for towels and no one came. The room was unclean and no towels. And smelled like insect spray.
The Photos tell you what the hotel won't say on their website. My review is regarding what the photos don't capture. In short, ** Stay: May 20 2022 for several days ** Summary: I've been a "La Quinta" member for 20+ yrs and I've never experienced what I experienced at this location. I recommend you read my full review and draw your own conclusion. Pros: 1) close to the freeways 2) free parking (standard with La Quinta) 3) free breakfast (standard with La Quinta) 4) check in/out did not take long 5) free wifi connection (standard with La Quinta) Cons: 1) The hotel's recording states that it's remodeled to meet the "La Quinta/Wyndham" standards. The front desk who checked us in said it's not. The only "remodeling" was to the lobby. Rooms were given an accent wall and new sheets, shower/window curtains. 2) The hotel is dingy, borderline filthy inside and out.Not maintained 3) Rooms are not properly cleaned after each stay even if they say they meet "COVID enhanced cleaning". 4) They charge a $100 deposit and the full cost of the room at check in. 5) I rented a non-smoking room; the 1st room smelled like urine, marijuanna, and cigarettes. The bathroom door knob was broken and it took me 5 min to open the door and the air conditioner was broken. The 2nd room had a tub of dirty water, dried urine on the toilet seat, and hair in the sink. The 3rd room was not good. I asked for an upgraded room and the front desk said they were booked. I checked the "Wyndham" site and they were available. It was 11PM and we'd hiked for 14 hrs so I took the 3rd room. 6) The front desk was bothered that I requested several room changes. 7) The breakfast is not as advertised. It was minimal. 8) It's unsafe. When staying we brought everything to the room, out for the day we took everything with us. 9) Filed a complaint with Wyndham who forwarded it to the onsite manager and said they will contact me for a quick resolution. We've not heard from anyone. 10) They overcharged us when we checked out. I had to show them my confirmation for them to correct their price. 11) People yelling in the halls at all hours.…
The room was dirty. The Carpet look like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time. There were used floss sticks in the drawer next to the bed. The microwave was disgusting and had meat splatter everywhere. The shower wasn’t scrubbed and there were globs of hair around the shower, along with a used towel hanging on the door. The shower curtain smelled moldy and nasty. Definitely wouldn’t stay there again. Only 1 room key worked.
