The most important part of your stay will be the receiving staff! That sets the tone. The staff member here was welcoming, good spirits, professional, polite, courteous, fast and helpful! The room size ( king) was exceptionally large and bathroom fixtures were nice. The bed was perfect and lots of comfortable pillows. ! I’ve stayed here for years when it was The Holiday Inn. This was my first stay since they changed .
Disliked · The closed restaurant was disappointing. Though we are in a global pandemic, and it’s best not to have diners,, room service should have been offered . The bathroom toilet needs repair, the seat is loose and creaks when you sit. It also starts running water every so often. A fighting couple arrived around 11:00pm and didn’t stop cursing each other out until very late. The heating unit works great but is loud each time it kicks on. I’m on vacation and was looking forward to quiet, I asked not to be put by the pool, forgetting it would be closed. But remembered the strong chlorine smell. They put me on the far end with bedroom window facing parking lot. At 4:00am people started arriving and leaving for work I imagine. There were several utility trucks being picked up. I so wanted to sleep in after my 3 hour drive here.

The good, it’s close, check in was easy.
The not so good:
Rooms are old, carpets need replaced, big stains on them.
Mold in the shower around the top of tub.
Toilet top to small for toilet tank, not on correctly because it’s too small.
No room to do any women hair with a rod or straightener, no counter just a sink.
Coffee is terrible in the rooms, went to dining room for coffee, the little creamers would not open, tried a whole section of them, 2 ladies that work there are just sitting and watching, finally I just started squeezing them in the cup to break open, made a heck of a mess, in which I did cleanup and did mention to the Front Desk, which she could give a crap

Bad first..This hotel is dated and need the hot tub fixed and the pool heated since they advertise it in photos and text. If you want to stay here for pool and hot tub CALL BEFORE YOU BOOK IT or you will be very disappointed. The good..Check-in was pleasant. The lady was very friendly, knowledgeable, and informative(rare nowadays). The bartender was friendly and fast! The evening restaurant and the morning buffet was good. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable!

My review has nothing to do with the quality of their employees professionalism, it is directed to the owners and the managing staff of this franchisee company

Last night, driving south from San Francisco I thought to forget about the reservation around midnight September 16th, close to Stockton, since I was getting tired ( I drive 18 wheelers ) but out of respect I kept going since my reservation was confirmed.
Upon arrival at the front desk and when singing the deposit papers, the clerk told me that I will be staying on the “ other “ back building”…..and what a freaking surprise to see a dirty carpet ( my trailer truck it’s cleaner then this), dead roaches and a dirt ring in the toilet bowl you see in public toilets….what happened?
If they would have asked me to pay an extra $100 for a cleaner and less depressive room in the “main” building, I would have gladly paid it.
Is now 02:25 am, I am pissed but so tired, that I am not going to ask for another room….I am so disappointed at the brand name.

The indoor pool was the only nice thing here but all the rooms surround it so if noise echos from the pool it becomes a noise disturbance. There were no pool towels available either and none on your room so swimming was pointless. You can possibly receive threats to pay a noise fee at the pool as well if there are noise complaints.

This is probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in! This place is a DUMP! Booked a non-smoking room, room Reeked of cigarette smoke! Vending machine was out of water. Website says free airport shuttle, called for shuttle and was told “No shuttle, most people walk over”. They also charge and hold “$50” on your credit card. I haven’t been to hotel in 20 years that does that. Well, that would explain it, this hotel is OLD and needs repairs and updates! Again, this place is a DUMP, avoid if possible.

The only good thing about this hotel is that check in is super fast, parking is free, and it is literally across the street from the airport making it very convenient.

However, the indoor pool (which is beautiful) is centered in the middle of the rooms so there was a lot of noises at night, noises echoed through the room so I could hear a lot of things I didn't want to, our room was not cleaned or refurbished with clean towels (we did put out a Do Not Disturb sign the 1st night but took it down after), children were running down the hall late at night, etc.

If I wasn't already under a lot of stress from my Uncle's funeral, I would have spoken to management but I just didn't have the energy or time.

I probably won't return to this hotel again.

Nice staff. However the room was was pretty disappointing. The bed and the chair was hard and uncomfortable. The wifi was too slow to watch movies. The television did not work at all, it didn't even turn on. It's the 1st hotel I've stayed at in years without a coffee machine or even just cups for water in the rooms. There also was no hand soap. The walls are pretty thin so you can hear a lot. Also the halls have 0 signs so you can't see what room numbers are in what hallway or where anything is located. Moreover, another guest used their key to get into my room (by mistake thinking it was theirs), however, it seems the keys they are giving out works for not just thier room but for others as well. This is a SERIOUS breach and oversight of security. Overall, it's way overpriced for lacking such basic features.

Bottom line: Don't stay here!

This hotel is described as newly renovated which is a deception! The outside and entrance may have been, but the hallways and at least our room were not.

Pro's: (1) The location, it's right across from the airport. (2) The staff was friendly, professional and did all they could to be helpful.

Con's: The carpet in the hallways is completely filthy, worn out and full of stains. In some places there was big rolls in the carpeting. The carpeting in our room was also full of stains, there was even gum stuck in the carpet. The pant hangers were covered in rust like they had been stored outside in the rain. After our first night we noticed the toilet was steadily dripping water (no wonder the floor was wet, I thought it was from my shower). We advised the front desk and they had it fixed while we were gone for the day. When we returned the room had not been serviced. I was told the maid had "ran out of time to service our room", so the wet towels we left on the floor had not been replaced. When I went to ask for replacement towels, the front desk apologized they had run out of big towels. I was given a bathmat and two wash clothes, it was all they had available. I could go on and on but you get the picture.

Message to the owners and management: You should be ashamed at the condition of your hotel and that you describe it as "newly renovated".

The person checking in guests was wearing his face mask like a chin strap. Nether covering his nose or mouth. The over all property is shabby and run down for how much the rooms cost. The location is good if you're flying into Fresno, but who flies to Fresno?!
