Roaches in room which was recorded and photographed, bathroom door handles falling off, & incompetency with being able to resolve room block issues & they tried charging me a second time for my second room at the discounted rate after charging me full price for my first room. I had to tell them that they don’t need to charge me twice and all they had to do was split the initial charge. Even this took 20-25 mins.
Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, safe locale. While not currently in a highly developed area (no restaurants adjacent), it looks like it is planned for the future. Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast, while still in COVID safety mode, was far better than many places and hit the spot. Check-in and out was painless and efficient with staff that seemed to enjoy their work.
There were bugs/beetles found in the room and I never heard from management as to what they were going to do? I had pictures and emailed the management, but I never heard from them as not did they say if they were going to reimburse or discount the room
My family and I stayed at this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights in October. We booked a king room with a pull-out sofa bed; however, linens on the sofa bed were stained and filthy. The window curtains were also dirty and there was a used towel left on the window sill. The dishes inside the dishwasher were dirty also (even though the sign on the counter said they had been cleaned). We appreciated the convenient location of the hotel, the spaciousness of the room, the kitchenette and the free breakfast, we were really grossed by the lack of uncleanliness. Also, the hotel employees were not wearing face masks, even though there were signs posted all around the hotel requiring face masks indoors.
Nice property from outside but once your walk in you can tell it's dated. I was a little shocked by them having a skeleton dressed in an elf suit but the reception was very friendly. My first room had a broken ceiling fan and AC did not work. They moved me to the second floor and the carpet in the hall way is very dated and loose. Half of the hallway sconces are missing light bulb covers as well. Room was good until I stepped into the bathroom. It appears that maintenance decided to caulk a hole in the tub instead of replacing it. If you step on the caulk while taking a shower it has lots of give. Breakfast was typically during the Covid era but there is no evening reception.
My guests especially liked the arrangement that Homewood has with Springhill next store for the use of the gym as they did complete workouts each day. Also, the outside area for their well-behaved dog was appreciated.
Enjoy the pool and jacuzzi very nice and clean we loved our stay good area safe to, we will come back here if we come back to Fresno to visit. The rooms were clean food was decent I just will tell the hotel to tel staff to not be observant of everything you eat it makes you fell awkward but overall nice clean comfortable place to stay
I had an extended stay of a period of weeks due to some work being completed on my primary residence. Lorraine at the front desk was very helpful and was looking to assist in any way that she could from the very beginning until my final check out. She made the Hilton into a "home away from home". Rebecca the GM was also very responsive to my numerous requests to adjust the timing of my stay and I could tell that her staff was well trained and focused on their professionalism and welcoming attitude.
The room that was unsatisfactory and staff did not support in the correction of my unpleasant stay. Will not be going to homewood suites properties in the future because of this incident. And I have advised my colleagues to do the same.
We brought a group of 15 to this hotel for a wedding at the Sequoia National Park. We were accommodated by the front desk manager John with an early check in after traveling 8 hours with a toddler, which was great. Angel, who I saw everywhere doing everything daily, quickly brought us a crib. The hotel is within a mile of major shopping, like Target, and many awesome restaurants. The hotel served as a great base for our trips to the nearby National Parks.
