Detailed Reviews
We stayed in a king suite (305) which was impeccably clean, had great water pressure in the shower and was very quiet with a super comfy bed.
A generous hot breakfast was included and pet friendly with easy access to relief areas for dogs.
Would definitely stay again!

My family had a medical procedure near Fresno and so a hotel room was necessary. The website was super smooth when I requested a room and we even extended our stay which was also incredibly easy. I was able to utilize my member points to take a percentage off of my bill and I also earned more points on top of that! The room was clean, the microwave was clean and the breakfast was great. The pool was closed because of covid but the location of the hotel to valley children’s hospital and the comfort of the beds made this hotel a no brainer! Great for families!

If you are staying in Fresno, this is a very good option. It is about 30 minutes from Oakhurst where most people stay if traveling to Yosemite. It's going to be about half the price and there will be availability. This hotel is in a nicer part of Fresno and conveniently located right off highway 41, highway to Yosemite. Very clean hotel, friendly staff, and decent breakfast. All at about half the rate you would pay in Oakhurst. And not much more than other seedier hotels in Fresno.

I made my reservation about two weeks in advance using their direct web site, I made a note in that I needed a room in an upper floor. I got to the hotel around 9:00 PM only to find out that I had been assigned a room on the second floor. When I told the person at the front desk about my request, he rudely replied that they were sold out and had no other room available. This was despite the fact that while I was waiting to be checked in, a woman who was in front of me was able to get a room on the highest floor without any reservation! When I pointed this out, he repeated that they had no other room available and walked away to "attend" to other matters. I had a very long and tiring day and was in no mode to argue with the night person at the front desk, so I took the and key and got on the elevator. The first thing that caught my attention was the bad odor in the elevator. It was as if someone had just thrown up in there. The elevator made nasty sounds and appeared that it was long overdue for a service call. The whole hotel has only one small elevator, so expect a long wait to catch a ride. The room condition was no better. The bathroom was dirty with stains. The carpet looked like it had not been cleaned it ages. The towels wee stained. The mattress was lumpy and very uncomfortable. (Good luck if you are hoping for a good night sleep). The sheets did not look that they had been replaced. Luckily, I had brought my own. Worst of all, there was a lot of late-night traffic in the hallway - which made it very disturbing even if you could eventually get used to the mattress. The ONLY good thing that I could say about this place, except for its location, was the breakfast. It offered a decent variety of quality breakfast items. This is NOT worth the money.

The rooms are well designed – a small wall between the couch and the bed which allows someone to use the couch without disturbing a sleeper. The TV was the largest I’ve seen in a hotel of this level. However, the air conditioner and fan was just as loud as other budget hotels. I really wish this would change. The outside pool had debris in it (i.e., plastic bags, etc.).
The breakfast was decent. The only option for coffee cups were individually wrapped cups (hence the plastic bags in the pool). While I love having this option for the room cups, it seems wasteful for the breakfast cups to have this.
The fitness room was well equipped. Loved the free parking.

Front desk clerk was rude and unhelpful. Requested room far from elevator and assured it was provided. Room was located next to the elevator. Upon checking out I had questions about the bill because it was very confusing and appeared to overcharge me. The clerk made me wait for several minutes before he listened to my questions and he did so then only because I insisted that he give me his attention. Upon arrival I was charged 350 and then 200 was credited back none of which was explained. The total charge was as expected but that amount did not appear on the bill. Also, I was told it might take 4 or 5 days for the credited amount to appear on my credit card.

I unfortunately experience the worst stay ever in a hotel. It started out with my check in as they would not accept the credit card I presented since in was in my mother's name. I accepted that. At 7:00 am the next morning there were yipping dogs in the hall that woke me up. At 10:00 am house keeping was knocking on my door and I had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. I asked house keeping to please come back. When I left the room at 10:20 am I removed the Do Not Disturb sign. When I got back to my room at 5:30 PM that day my room had not been made up. I went to the front deck to inquire and I could tell the individual was not interested in listening. So I responded to the person that "You really do not care do you?". The person responded with "Not really!" Never again will I stay here.

We stayed for 3 nights during our trip to Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks and aside from some minor cleanliness things in the bathroom (grout in tiles was stained and shower drain was clogged), we didn’t have any issues. Overall the hotel is very kept. I should mention there is freeway noise that can be heard at night, but nothing noice canceling ear buds can’t fix. Not bad for price and overall satisfaction with breakfast, staff and hotel in general.

I have been a frequent guest at this inn. Internet service was nearly non-existent this time in my room except occasionally. Hot tub was empty and they're talking of filling it in with concrete. Breakfast is the worst example of American corporate trough-fare. Staff was extremely nice and tried to be helpful. You get 5 pillows but they're all so high one awakes with a headache.

The La Quinta Riverpark was very nice. I only had a brief one night stay but my room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The included breakfast featured bacon and eggs. Check-in was a breeze and the desk clerk was friendly and welcoming. My only minor complaint was that the desk clerk at check out was not very friendly and did not want to help with directions, telling me to use my GPS. The site I wanted was not in my GPS but I found the directions on my own. Last impressions matter too.
