THUGS are allowed to run this motel and have free reign. They were right outside my room all day and ALL night partying, and honking their horns. Management does nothing, neither does their security! Got no peace and no sleep!!
The staff will rent to anybody so there is no feeling of safety. There were guests being partying in the stairway late into the night, people playing loud music in the parking lot. The dirty room had a bed, TV, a couple nightstands - no desk, no mini-fridge, no microwave, no place to hang clothes - nothing. The HVAC made a rattling noise when it was on. The ice machine is far too small and rarely had ice. The property smells of marijuana most of the time. It is disturbing that this property retains its franchise, it is really bad.
Got there, checked in and check out an hour later. Really strong smell of weed (drugs). The Room was disgusting ! The staff did try there best to help. Also a lot of unsavoury looking characters around the hotel. Did not feel safe in the hotel or the surrounding area. Cars broken into in the so called safe parking area at the hotel. Drove a few miles up the road and stayed in another hotel. DO NOT STAY THERE !
This is a typical Motel 6, basics done at a cheaper price. There is plenty of room for improvement here but at the price we paid, it was exactly what we expected. One thing I can say is that the housekeeping can be improved a bit, especially with cleaning around the sink area. Other than that, book elsewhere if you want to splurge a few bucks to get a few luxuries. If you're looking at the cheapest possible place, book here.
When traveling there is a wide-range of places to spend the night to fit most budgets. If you don't want to spend your entire vacation budget the first night and don't need the free breakfast (great in most cases not so much for single traveler when you factor in how much you're actually paying for the free breakfast). This location is easy on and off the 99. There are fast food restaurants within walking distance. Room was for the most part clean with the basics. Here is what could be done to improve: power wash the sidewalks in front of the rooms, paint the doors (inside and outside), put a blanket on the bed (yes it's hot in the summer in Fresno but give the guest the option to kick it off), scrub the shower/bath tile better, leave an extra roll of toilet paper in room, Internet could be faster, adjust televisions so picture is clearer, clean a/c filters so that when it comes on you don't smell a green leafy substance or a lot of skunks outside. All in all I did spend 2/3 less than surrounding places and this place could be worth it but Motel 6 needs to figure out how to step up their game a little or at least this one does.…
No fridge, no microwave, no clothes rack, no place to put clothes. Mold in the bathroom, toilet was loose, bath mat towel was FILTHY . Cigarette burns on the bed spread , sheet has rips. Room door looks to have been kicked several times. Door was FILTHY. Here only because room was employer paid. Voiced concerns to the front desk clerk. She was polite but acknowledged many rooms have. "Problems" If you have other options...go elsewhere.
Heater didn’t get hot. Remote didn’t change tv Restroom had a hole in the corner But food in the area was great you have McDonald’s, In & Out, Carl’s Jr., Taco stands at the next light One side of the motel is by the entrance of the freeway so it’s kind of disturbing
Room was dirty and very loud. We've got dirty towels and blankets. After we change them, new ones were dirty as well. Bathroom was also very dirty. Doors, windows and walls are like made of paper, we could heard everything form outside and from other rooms. Don't recommend!!!
3/20-3/21/17: This Motel 6 was the 1st of three that I stayed in while on a journey in the southwest. As with the others, all I was looking for accommodation-wise: clean room, working AC, hot water, Wifi, and some TV. All good. No issues. Plus, free coffee to get me started on the morning I departed. Location-wise, I picked it because it is right off the highway (Route 99) and also close by to Riverside Golf Course, a well-enough kept "muni" that was the first of the eight golf courses I played on my epic drive-about. Food-wise, there are fast-food place both north and south on North Golden State Boulevard, all within 5 - 10 minutes, at best. Gas stations throughout the area and a "packie" for one's adult beverage requirements, north on NGSB. I'd like to tell you about all the other things in the area, but I was in for a day of golf and then out the next morning to continue my trip. Motel 6 fulfilled my requirements, and it is worth noting that the other two 6's in Barstow and Palm Desert also presented zero issues.…
We had a miserable experience with staff, room accommodations, reservations and customer service. When we checked in instead of one room downstairs two beds we got one room upstairs with one bed. The staff was totally unconcerned until one of my teammates came back to check in to her room which was suppose to be one bed downstairs and was one bed downstairs but not ready yet but now was two beds upstairs. My friend was unable to climb stairs which is why she got there early to ensure she got her requested room. Eventually we were able to trade and get her a downstairs room but with a great deal of hassle. There was a group rate, which I did not get. No one could help me or tell me why my room was more expensive than the other rooms there for the same event even though I told them at time of reservation and at time of check in that I was there with that event. When I called the manager, who was the only one who could answer my questions after the event was over (obviously I did not live in Fresno and could not come back in to talk to her in person as was suggested) she was evasive and never returned my calls. After two weeks I was finally told my reservations were made late and no refund would be coming even though I complained about the service during our stay. We had only 2 bath towels, one hand towel and no wash cloths as was the same as many of the other guests' rooms. There was only 1/4 roll of toilet paper and the staff would not give us more and we were later told they were too busy to get us TP and the towels and wash rags were in the dryer. They said they would bring them to us. They never did. We ran out of toilet paper. When we pressed the issue that we didn't have any they finally found a half used roll somewhere and told us they couldn't find any more. Many other guests had similar difficulties as there were many people in the office complaining. One couple had no sheets on their beds. Another had a room that hadn't been cleaned. Some of my friends complained of roaches. We had a few bugs. It was very noisy at night. There was no mirror in our room. We had to guess if we were presentable to leave the room. This was recommended as the best Motel 6 in Fresno. I shutter to think what the other motels of the chain are like if this was the best, although I once stayed at the Motel 6 near the fairgrounds which was a pretty scary place. On the positive side, the morning girl on Sunday morning couldn't help us but she had good attitude deluxe. Even though she couldn't help me she made me feel like she was concerned (the only employee I dealt with that gave me any type of positive feelings) and was actually listening to me. She was also very neat and very professional both in the way she looked and the way she talked. I hope someone can look at the schedule and give this girl some credit for being pleasant in such horrible working conditions.…
