The Motel 6 is inexpensive and it's ok for a night. There aren't many amenities, and it's a little creepy, as it's located next to a cemetery (our room had a wonderful view of gravestones). It is, however, extremely convenient to the highway and to the Fresno Tower district.

For the price 40$, it was OK. The room was OK except for that there was an hole in the restroom door. Small breakfast. Fresno doesn't seem to be a town to stay.

Had to take my real estate exam in Fresno and this was a perfect location right off the freeway and away from the clusters of other motels in the same area. For the price the bed was fine. Even though the towels were a bit like sandpaper it seemed relatively clean and comfortable. People at check in.out were friendly too. Would recommend for a couple of nights at most. $40.00 - great deal

You may think its cheap but even the cheapness isnt worth staying in this gross motel. When we first came in the night staff was horribly mean. She treated us as if we were stupid and constantly talked with an attitude. She had no idea what she was talking about and took that out on us. The guy in there with her just stood there against a pile of soda cans on his phone the whole time. The first red flag we noticed was the shady cars coming in and out of the place, if they weren't doing that they were parked with random women leaning into the windows. Its located in front of a cemetery. The pool was a murky gray color. You couldn't see the bottom or even the walls of it. It had dirt and grime in it as well. When we got into our motel room everything was dirty. The "comforter" was a thin white sheet that had cigarette burns through it. Our pillow cases had brown stains on them. The towels were small and thin, the shower had black mole in the corners/along the walls of it. Our bathroom door had holes punched into it with sharpie graffiti on the other side. We could feel the bottoms of our feet getting covered in dirt from the floors. We pretty much paid to be disrespected, feel unsafe, and feel dirty for a night. Would never go here again.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wish I could give it negative stars.

This place was the dirtiest place I have ever stayed. Saw several roaches crawling around and there is grime everywhere. Floors, doors, baseboards, cabinets, shower... if there’s a surface it was dirty. And it was $80+ bucks to feel gross all night.

Checked in and was given smoking room. Changed to non smoking but first one next to smoking section so it still smelled. Pillows were very worn and thin. Asked 3 times for additional pillows before I got one 1.5 hours later. Beds do not have fitted sheets so after one or two turns we were on the bare mattress. Website says all rooms have iron and board but there was no iron and front desk said they were out of irons. Towels felt like sandpaper. Overall a terrible experience. Never again. A small investment by the owners could improve this property greatly.

If I could give this place zero stars I would!! Don’t be fooled by the cheap price. I wouldn’t even stay here if they paid me!! This place is absolutely disgusting, you’re better off sleeping in your car than this garbage of a place. This is a sex motel, prostitutes and Johns coming in and out of the rooms. Our room specifically was supposed to be a non-smoking room but wreaked of cigarettes and the bed spreads had cigarette burns and the bed linen was stained with God knows what. The toilet had waste and the sink and shower had hair everywhere. Not to mention one of the walls had bug smashed on it. I don’t even think anyone bothered to clean the room. Besides the nastiness of the room itself, the area just feels very unsafe. Even the receptionist advised us not to park our car in a certain area of the parking lot because the hotel security cameras didn’t extend that far. And on the actual bedroom door they have a warning sign to deadbolt your room for your own safety. I guess the cherry on top of all of this is that you’re located right next to a cemetery. All this being said, we didn’t even last an hour before we decided to end our trip to Yosemite and drive 3 hours back home to LA!!

I was in Fresno for a friend's wedding so another friend and I went halvers on a room. Found this place through priceline for $50/night for two queen beds.

The room wasn't too bad. Random stains on the carpets and walls. Bathroom door was broken and had no lock, so you couldn't shut it completely and itd slowly open on its own. The beds were somewhat comfortable but the sheets were itchy. The bath towels were like sandpaper and the water in the shower was not very warm. TV remote didn't work and there was something wrong with the TV itself. Mini fridge didn't work. Only got one bar of teeny-tiny soap and a ketchup packet of shampoo.

My friend from Fresno said that the area this Econo Lodge is in is considered the ghetto/bad part of town.

I wouldnt stay here again.

This is no longer an Econolodge, it's a Motel 6.
The room itself was ok. Newer flooring, clean. Folks running the place were pleasant. Shower water flow was pretty low pressure. Air conditioning was adequate, but never got COLD-cold.

My main problem with this hotel are the people living there (meth-heads), the prostitutes cruising the nearby intersection, the people pulling into the parking lot all night doing drug deals (yes, I watched for about an hour - they weren't even trying to be discreet! LOL!!)

Also, the restaurants within a couple miles close at 7:30 pm!!
Yup, that's how bad the north part of Fresno is.

Will NOT be staying here (or anywhere else nearby) again.
