My stay was for three nights. I was told during my stay no turn down would be available. I understood but when I asked for washcloths on the second night and toilet paper I was told there are none and 2 additional towels would be brought to room but never happened. Four people staying in a hotel room for three days need more than 2 wash clothes and 2 towels and especially TOILET PAPER. Had to use the tissues to wipe with. Completely Unacceptable

Stay Report - 9/25 to 9/26

Location: The hotel is located north of downtown Fresno directly adjacent to the CA-41 freeway and a little north of Herndon Avenue.  Across the street is the massive Kaiser hospital facility.  There isn't much in this area but being near to the freeway makes driving places easy.  FAT was about 15 minutes away.

Hotel: one of the very nice new construction HPs.  There's a small indoor pool and fitness center, really nice lobby with breakfast area, coffee shop and also cocktail bar and a small business center in the lobby as well.  There are also two elevators without much waiting and enough parking a lot of which is nicely covered.

Check In: Disappointing.  My flight in was cancelled so I called to ask if I could keep my two night stay as I need nights for status.  The agent said sure.  When I checked in I was told this wouldn't happen and the agent checking me in was very rude.  No status recognition, no waters, no offer of late check out.  She also told I'd get a refund of my points used for my first night which I never did.  Lastly she took a $150 authorization on a one night points stay which seems weird.

Room: Very good.  Love the design and all the space along with the outlets near the bed and the upgraded bathroom.  Wifi was not very good but thankfully soundproofing was fine.

Breakfast: Disappointing.  Hot options were microwave french toast sticks or eggs in to go containers along with pastries, cereal or fruit.  It felt cheap.

Definitely a below average HP especially at the high cash prices it commands.

There was nothing exceedingly wrong with this hotel it just felt very average. We booked the room to splurge a bit after a backpack and it felt very lackluster. Many things missing from the bathroom, which were obtained after going to the desk. But when you spend $200+ on a room you have certain expectations. The pool was also underwhelming.

On a current business trip, I stayed here for one evening. I found a very efficient and effective quick check-in and check-out process. Room was very pleasant and comfortable. The shower head water pressure can do with a bit more pressure but it's not a deal breaker. The free breakfast was nicely prepared with every item (including utensils) individually sealed. Eggs, bacon, and home-style potatoes were fresh, hot and yummy. Always a good way to start the work day! Just an overall pleasant stay that aided in a relaxed feeling right before a big presentation! Thank you, Hyatt!

My family and I came into town for a funeral. We typically stay at at a hotel in this same area but decided to stay here. The hotel is pretty new. It was clean, the room was comfy, just a bit smaller than what we are used to. The only complaint that we had was that the water pressure in our room was terribly low. We didn't have breakfast on site but the snack stand was helpful when we needed juices and chips/candy. The staff that we came across was nice. We'd stay here again without hesitation.

Hyatt Place in Fresno is a very nice hotel- rooms are large- no carpeting, which is a huge bonus! Bed was very comfortable and the heater/air conditioner was very quiet. The staff was very
welcoming and some remembered me from previous stays. They made sure I received my cold water bottles. The breakfast buffet is nicer than many of the other hotels I have stayed at.

With family in the hospital, this property was convenient. But felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. Manger allowed staff work and guest to congregate unmasked. Medical workers often stay there, I would expect conscientious facilities.

Our family (three adults and one 17-year-old) spent four nights in this hotel, room 403. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

The hotel is located at a convenient place. There are many restaurants within a short drive. The breakfast was overall of good quality, although we would have appreciated more variety in terms of, for example, salads, yogurts, bread, or desserts. Stll, it was possible to find something to eat for everybody.

The hotel has a policy that room cleaning during the stay is done only when requested. We had one cleaning during our stay, which was done very well (as well as the cleaning before our arrival). And we are picky about cleaning.

The room was comfortable for four persons with two beds, one large enough for two persons, and one bed made out of a sofa. There was also a lot of space in the bathroom and the room itself to place our things. We were unable to open the window. The air conditioning seemed to blow either too hot or too cold air, so we determined that we actually fared the best without having the AC on at all: the air in the room was still good. There were enough lights in the room.

The hotel has clearly enough parking. The service was always nice.

The pool downstairs is good for swimming, with warm water. It can also partly be used by smaller children who cannot perhaps yet swim that well, if they are supervised.

Overall, we would be happy to recommend this hotel to others.

I think it's great to have lights that save energy but for lady to walk off the elevator to a dark hallway was terrifying especially with a toddler the lights came on once I was half way to the doorway. Imagine the doors to the elevator open and all you see is NOTHING pitch dark. I thought maybe I was on the wrong floor and ended up in the storage room. Then to top it off I had to reassure my 2 year old when I was scared myself, I even double checked the number on the elevator buttons. It was very creepy... Simply put I felt a little unsafe for a few seconds.
The TV/cable was terrible and hard to navigate.
The room has so much light coming in even with the black out curtains, the bright parking light from outside felt like I was sleeping in lilted stadium. And the night light form the bathroom was way to bright. I tried to close the bathroom door but the glass is frosted so it shine right in. An option to turn off would be best. But still the light that come in from outside is bad. The rooms our nice and clean and the front staff was very nice. The A/C and Heater are awfully loud it sounds and rattles. I only slept 30 mins, I even brought my noise machine and still I could hear the heater kick on, ridiculous... I had my white noise on high not to mention. My poor toddler woke up every 30 minutes probably slept a total of 6 hours... because of the noise and then would point to all the light shining in from outside and bathroom. This made for a fussy toddler the next morning.
If you want get a good night sleep I would not recommend this place, you can try bringing a white noise machine but it's still loud, it you can sleep with a lot of light then it might work for you. It's also next to a freeway so that's way I brought my noise machine so some noise was expected and I didn't think it would sound like I am sleeping next to a landing strip or in a bright lilted stadium. The hotel is in a nice location many things near by but I wouldn't recommend or stay here again. I was so exhausted the next from a lack of good rest. I felt like I was back in my college days staying at hostel on gaslight strip in SD that's how bad the noise and lighting was, except back then I was so drunk I would pass out. Maybe get wasted downstairs before you hit the sack if you stay here

I stay in this area often due to my proximity to family, and I have stayed at most of the hotels in the vicinity (La Quinta, Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites, Extended Stay). The format of the Hyatt is similar to other "express" style hotels in the area, but this hotel is just a bit nicer in various ways and costs a little bit more appropriately. a
We especially appreciated the 4 EV chargers for hotel guests. This saved a trip to the Tesla supercharger, which meant more time visiting my family. They are Chargepoint chargers but private, so they do not appear in the Chargepoint app. The front desk attendant comes out and swipes the hotel card to initiate charging (it won't work with your Chargepoint account). Charging is free (but for hotel guests only).
In addition, there is a cocktail and snack bar attached to the front desk so that the front desk attendant can make drinks or snacks.
The hotel gym is better equipped than most hotels of this size and has treadmills, a bike, a cable weight system, dumbells, and a weight bench. There is also an indoor pool.
King room has a nice couch area with a partial divider which is nice for relaxing. It also has a medium-sized fridge and coffee maker (but no microwave). The furnishings are a little bit nicer than at other area hotels.
The one thing I would have wished for would be a proper "suite" format with a separate bedroom so we could travel with an older child and get one room (in which case there are several "suites" format hotels nearby. But when I'm traveling alone or as a couple, this is our favorite option.
The hotel is directly next to the freeway, and our room was on the freeway side, despite the request I put on my reservation to be away from the freeway. The road noise was annoying but not overwhelming and was easily solved with earplugs.
