A very nice hotel with GREAT staff. Check in/out was easy and seemless. The breakfast every morning is fresh and delicious. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. The hot tub was a GOD SEND after long hikes in Yosemite Valley, which is about 1.5 hours away. There are several restaurants and stores in close proximity, including a Denny's right across the parking lot. I highly recommend this hotel if your staying in Fresno.

Stayed here on our recent Road trip and enjoyed our stay.
Good shower, good wifi, tasty breakfast, comfy bed.
Like the Fairfield much better than the Springhill other Marriott option.
Would stay here again!

Newer hotel but a bit average. Staff not very friendly. Small rooms. Carpark shared with Denny's Fast Food so quite busy. Biggest frustration was we weren't told that when it rain a couple of the parking bays go under water making access to your car impossible. Information that could have been shared with us when we checked in during rain? The attached photo was as the water level decreased the next day.

Recycling options would also be a nice improvement.

I stayed at the Fairfield Inn while on a business trip to Fresno - the business I was visiting arranged the accommodation.

Overall, I feel that the Fairfield Inn is a pretty solid, mid-priced hotel, and this member of the chain was really no different. The front desk staff was very courteous during all interactions and did what they could to make my stay as pleasant as possible.

The room was a basic hotel room; more importantly, it was both clean and quiet. The internet was high speed and free, and there was a free continental breakfast in the mornings that had a good selection of meal choices. My one (small) complaint is that it would be nice if there was shuttle service to the airport, but it's a small complaint and would not keep me from staying here again if I were in the area.

Overall, it's a basic, mid-priced hotel. It's neither pretentious nor sub-standard, and represents good value for the price.

I’ve stayed at Fairfield Inns several times in Canada, but this was my first time in the US. When I first walked into the room, there was a very strong chemical smell that I found totally unpleasant and overwhelming. It only dissipated by keeping the window open almost all of the time during my 4-day stay. The other major issue is that there weren’t enough light sources. The room was rather dark, especially at night. The only overhead light in the room was the one near the door, and it was on a timer. So, I had to stand up every 15 minutes to switch it back on. There was a reading lamp and a strange object below it that could have been an ottoman since it had no back. I would have loved a reading chair in the room. Instead, there was this weird ottoman-like thing without a back that didn’t function as a chair. Perhaps it was just a spot to place a suitcase. I have no idea. The walls were very thin, as I could hear my neighbor’s TV quite loudly all the time they were in the room. In addition, I really would have liked a safe in the room. On the plus side, the walk-in shower was great and the breakfast was very good. I send a shout-out to Tony, the person who checked me in. He was extremely good-natured and helpful. I wish all employees at hotels were like him. Overall, this hotel was a mixed bag, especially with regard to the room odour. I would probably try another hotel if I were to come back to town.

Very pleasant reception area with professional staff. Morning breakfast served included with room consisting of almost anything you desire. Waffle maker was a great surprise. Turns out four small waffles in two and 1/2 minutes. Only four stars as the room we had consisted of two areas each with a TV. Bedroom had wonderful king bed and the other room had a bed/ couch and cozy chair. The problem was they are not separate. I couldn't do much while my wife was resting. Usually we are used to the two rooms being some what private as that is what makes it special. Other than this it was great. Coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. Do wish there was choice of daily paper.

Room Tip: We were close to elevator and heard not a sound. Very easy to get up and down on third floor.

Stayed there on business one night. We normally stay at the Residence Inn, but they did not have government rate for that day. That's another story. We were surprised this was a good stay. Desk person was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and nice and even breakfast was good. We will probably stay here again when we come back into town.
