Freight train blows by just yards away from this hotel, giant roach spotted creeping on the ground in the hallway heading towards dining area, noisy guests coming in and out in large, loud drunken groups at 2:30. Honestly I’d rather sleep in my car than sleep in this place ever again.
When I was looking for a place to stay along the way on a Sierras trip,I remembered that I’d stayed at other La Quintas and been happy with them. I booked a room at this one for myself and my husband. The room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet, nicely decorated, well lit, with a grid bed. In the morning we had a geed hot breakfast. The staff at the front desk were friendly and told us where to find groceries anc have dinner. It was a good experience.
They had a Good breakfast and great service. Speedy check in....but stay away from the end of hall rooms as those seem to be noisier due to being close to street and a train track somewhere. Easy to get to close to / off the freeway.
Very nice hotel. Customer service was great. Just a one nite stay on the way to Washington. Will stay there again. 200 characters is a bit much. Was a great trip , Chinese restaurant just down Shaw was delicious.
This place was dirty as hell. The room had dog hair all over the floor. To make matter worse, the power went out during my stay. What the hell type of operation is being ran? Why wasn’t the staff more accommodating? Why was this place dirty? Terrible for business.
Ridiculous!! I’m extremely angry right now!! I drove 4 hours AND upon checking in I was told I wasn’t getting the two bedroom suite (see below) that I originally booked. Today is my daughters 21st birthday - awesome experience is now ruined. Front desk didn’t offer anything at all to fix situation even after I showed her this detailed email. I’m requesting a full upgrade or full refund. I will end up sleeping on the floor. We are stuck out of luck because we have a comedy show to attend at 8:00pm. I even confirmed last night via email through the La Quinta Greetings email. I made sure that a two bedroom suite would be ready. Jose Rojas 626-664-6638
Given an already occupied room, next room was never cleaned. Tv on, sheet on couch, towel and soap used. After they came and did a 5 min cleaning job getting ready for bed to find a sock stuck under couch cushion, neck pillow and candy wrappers under master bed. Just horrible experience for my tired family.
Very friendly staff from the front desk, breakfast hostess to housekeeping. The hotel was clean. Comfortable beds. Well decorated. Good selection at breakfast & coffee was awesome! Love that it’s pet friendly while attending a dog show. $20 fee per pet. Lots of potty areas & bags to pick up after your dog. The rooms were not noisy, yes occasionally there was a train but not during the night. The only complaints I have are- the restrooms downstairs need to be opened for guests to use. All of the carpets need to be steamed cleaned in the rooms, they are stained and very dirty. I put a towel down on the carpet and it was black when I picked it back up. I wore shoes so my feet stayed clean. Elevator was acting up & should be serviced by a professional. I was stuck in it for a short period of time after I checked in & it was making noise. Overall we had a good experience & will return. Thank you!…
We last stayed here 2 years ago just before the pandemic. It has gone downhill, not irretrievably, but needs to put more effort into maintenance and cleaning. When we stayed here 2 years ago we really enjoyed the facility; it was sparkling clean, in good repair, and our room was in good shape. Not so any more. This time we found the common areas in need of cleaning and minor cosmetic repair work. Dirty stair well carpets. Dirty hall floors. Scratches in the dark purple (?) paint in our room wall. Big stain on our room floor rug. Elevator dirty. The heater/AC grill in our room was so dirty that it was scary. The easy chair in our room was stained and worn/torn; it should be thrown out. Nice pictures on the wall. The front desk staff were prompt and helpful in all of our contacts, so that is still a positive. …
Room very clean. Needs more breakfast options. There is a train very close by and it did wake me up. The rooms also need better sound proof. You can hear everything in the hall. And it even let a little light in.
