I stayed in the Luzmin-White House. I booked through agoda for a basic room and that is what I had. I was not in the bungalows. I was in a main house that has been made into small rooms. My room was not much bigger than a large closet. The door could not open all the way due to there not being enough room with the twin bed. However, there was a fan, my door locked, there was running water, and a bed in a nice safe area.

At the rates I was paying, I did not expect a great hotel. If you keep in mind that if you pay for the budget room you are getting a budget room then you will not be disappointed.

One thing that is good to know thou is that this place is not in the center of Oslob by the market. This is in a small outer area called Lagunde, about a 20-25 minute walk from the Oslob market. The Ceres Bus (the big yellow ones) will stop anywhere if you wave them down. There is also a tricycle from the Oslob market (less than 50 pesos) or a motorbike (which I never did so unsure of price). I usually walked and had so much fun talking to all of the wonderful locals that will talk to you along the way.

Cheap cottage is P500, small, nice, clean.
But the compound has a lot of trucks parked in front of you and workers from the hardware store is everywhere the ground so you'll feel a bit off and not that quite.
30minutes away from whale watching.
Common toilet and bath with some amenities like pool table, basketball etc.
Along the road, easy to take bus to kawasan and moalboal.
They offer tour for whale watching 1200 for foreigners. 700 for Filipinos.

I stayed one night in a single room. The room was basic and tiny but it's OK for a short stay. It was a bit noisy but earplugs helped. The staff were totally nice and helpful, always smiling, always happy to answer any question.

First of all: they have 2 types of accomodation....we stayed in the budget hut/bungalow (see my photo) which we booked via Agoda. Not in the beachfront newly built aircon thingy (which looks really nice)!

Ok, a bit tricky to review this one. At first I was a bit surprised by the basicness of this accomodation and it was different than expected, but on the other hand: it is probably one of the cheapest places you can find in Oslob, so I have to be a bit mild: you get what you pay for. The accomodation is basic, but on the other hand it is a place where you are likely to meet other budget travellers/like minded people, which is always interresting.

The bungalows:
The bungalows are small, basic and dusty, but everything you need is there: the is a small fan, a light from the ceiling and a socket to charge your batteries. The matress is basic. The 3 bungalows are actually not on the beach, they are built other side of the street of where the ''beach'' is. The beach is not really a beach, it's a pebbled (stones) area where you can enter the sea. The bungalows are placed on the terrain of a building materials-store. The trucks of the contruction company are often parked in front of your bungalow.

Facilities:
The shared toilet is placed in the back of the contruction materials store. Toilets were clean. Buy your own toiletpaper. The shower is a shared shower (cold), looks basic. There is a small communual sitting area and a pool table.

Location:
Bungalows are next to the main road. Oslob is not a small village, but actually a very long stretched area. Tell the busdriver exactly where you have to be. Oslob Lagunde is in the first bit of the Oslob area (coming from Cebu City). The whale shark watching is actually 10 km from this place, so if they drop you at the whale shark centre, you have to take a bus back.

We stayed here with a friend for 3 nights. It was exactly what we expected according their description. The staff is amazing, they organized for us many tours ( Tumalog Falls, whale shark, Kawasan falls ), and they have us many advises about what to visit nearby. I recommend this place to every backpackers. This only negative points was there noise by cocks early in the morning, but as a traveler you’ll certainly wake up early in the morning to enjoy Cebu.

Stayed here one night to see whale sharks following morning. Whilst I visited the whale sharks against my best judgement and would not recommend it, I would certainly recommend using Luzmin to sort out the trip if you do choose to go. We stayed in a cottage with a fan which was basic but perfect for what we wanted.

Picked up at 5.30am and driven to the centre. here our driver/guide went and sorted out our registration and tickets while we sat for the briefing.

Then we were led over to get life jackets and snorkels and told our boat number. As soon as this was called our guide ushered us to our boat and away we went.

Very slick and helpful considering the chaos going on around us. It was busy when we arrived but hellish when we left around 7am.

We stayed 2 nights at this place they offer nipa huts and regular rooms me and my partner.we pay 1200 pesos for two nights for a small nipa hut its really small just a double bed and a fan that fits inside its really simple but cute. The only thing that i dont like is u have to share bathroom with other guest outside but not really big deal the worst is that ur right next to a hardware store one time my partner has to complain for we want to take a nap and all we hear is a loud noise of metal that they trying to load to their truck for 2 hours lol. The owner is really nice though she takes care of everything for us.

We booked the Big cottage for 2,nights. It has 1 single bed and 1 queen size bed made of bamboo ang it creeks everytime we moved out of bed or change positions. The batroom and showerroom are located outside. Lyka is very accomodating and the rest of the staff.

2 things I didnt like in the place is that there were 2 males who were repairing their motorcyle in front of our cottage from morning till 3pm! It was disturbing. Second, I dont know if they were guests or bystanders inside the vicinity but there wer group of teenagers who were very noisy in the night time.

The place is very far from the whale watching and sumilon but Lyka was good enough to offer a package for our activities in the reasonable price.

The room is okay, not spacious and they just have common toilet for the budget rooms..that's okay,we just get what we have paid for. The room was newly paint when we stayed so it was still smelly. They have new rooms and the it was nice to have breakfast on their yard near the ocean. The owner has store in front so you can have anything you need, her daughter is accommodating as well.
