This hotel is fairly simple by international standards, but the friendliness and help provided by the staff as well as all the turtles swimming around the beach popping up make it well worth the stay. Our ferry got cancelled last minute on Christmas Eve and the staff went out of their way to help arrange our transfers and re-book us so we could carry on with our trip. They also invited us to their Christmas dinner which was our first boodle fight and the food was great.
Beautiful setting where you can spot turtles from the shore! Great value and friendly staff!! Sunsets in the evening were lovely and the small outdoor dining area suited us perfectly. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is passing by.
It's my 2nd time at seascape and as usual I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the place. Waking up to the sound of the waves is splendid. Looking at the endless ocean from the rooftop is a great way to spend with your significant other while sipping bottles of Flavored beer. I'd definitely keep coming back.
Oceanfront, gated, guarded, small property, but very pretty with 12 small, minimalistic rooms, all identical with 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed, a small table in between them, a small wardrobe, a TV, and an A/C wall unit. Best for 2 adults and a child. Rooms are noisy being right next to the street and the a/c unit. The bathroom is small, no water pressure, but clean with plenty of hot water. The staff is very nice and very accomodating. Can not say enough good things about them. Front desk and restaurant are located next to each other, outside with tables under a tent (it had just rained). Food very good. Pool is salt water and shallow. Bring your own personal towel. Free WiFi at the front desk. Check out their facebook page for more pictures. I would recommend.
We loved this small resort, but only spent one night here on our way from Mactan Island to Oslob for Whale Shark Watching. The rooms are very basic and simple, but extremely clean and practical. The swimming pool is lovely and the views across the bay are excellent. The best part was the home cooked lunch of grilled "shrimp" - these turned out to be massive, succulent king prawns, accompanied by a spicy salsa style sauce. This is excellent value for money and the food was extremely cheap.
Sescape Oslob was so accomodating with their warm welcome even at the lastest hour. Their place is so clean and so peaceful overlooking the ocean. The food was delish esp. the wings prepared by Mike but all is super good. Gina was so friendly and yet seemed like she was a part of our group. We actually booked the whole place put so it seemed like our own private place. Gina can call a masseuse in a matter of minutes. The best was waking up the the amazing sunrise and watching the calm waters of the sea. I hope to return one day soon! Gina this is for you.
Before we arrived we contacted the hotel and they arranged a very helpful hotel transfer from Cebu airport. After this, the man on reception was very helpful with planning our itinerary and arranging tricycles to and from the different places. The security guard even flagged a local bus down for us and the driver queued from 3am to get whale shark tickets for us! On the day we visited the whale sharks they even made us a sandwich to take as we would be missing breakfast, which was so thoughtful. The room was clean and comfortable (just wish the shower was more powerful!) The pool and view was beautiful. Would defintley recommend - Thankyou for making our stay so fantastic!
I love everything about this resort clean rooms, excellent services, delicious meals, and perfect location in Oslob. Gina, Bong and Mike I truly appreciate the warm hospitality from all of you. I’ll be back next year’s trip to Cebu with my siblings. I very much highly recommend Seascape, absolutely a top notch resort in Oslob!
Beautiful setting and probably the best property in this remote area. Don’t get misled by resort as all properties tend to misuse this ! However the manager and staff were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean just lacking water pressure, and pity the pool was out of order due to a lead but otherwise thumbs up. Last note on food which was superb and great value for money.
Well, there aren't a TON of lodgings in Oslob, but that just speaks to its relartively unspoiled status (except the lower town which is CRAWLING with whale shark watchers!). Seascape is quiet, bright, and incredibly accommodating. The people are more friendly and helpful than anywhere I've been in SE Asia (and not in that we're-nice-to-sell-you-something-kinda-way). They genuinely smiled and waved hello every time we emerged! It felt like slipping into a calm, private cloud away from the bluster of town. I should have hugged Gina before I left, and double goes for the security guard who looked after us. Go here, go here, go here!!!
