This is just a very average hotel for tourists/ divers to stay a night or two in Oslob for whale shark viewing. Nothing fancy about the room as it’s just like any 1-2 stars hostel. There is a pool that looks like 80s design. However, the customer service is surprisingly good and the restaurant serve some basic but tasty breakfast. We had some simple dinner at the restaurant too- not great but acceptable as most the the dishes were too salty.

Stayed at the resort during our tour of south Cebu for 4 nights. The property is quiet nice though much effort can be invested in keeping the toilets and bathrooms clean(soap traces, spider webs and stained tiles). The outstanding part of our stay was the staff and service. Oliver, Kim, Mario and JoJo made our evenings and dinings memorable and nice. They always went an extra mile. A special shout out Jay our tour guide and kuya Jassie for exceptional love and services. Oooh and the beautiful sea view when dining at the resort restaurant and bar

This hotel is in a great location right on the water and just a few short minutes to the swimming with whale sharks experience. This is where all the positives end (minus the restaurant which is actually quite good). The room is dingy at best and feels like the owner doesn’t even care and gave up. The pillows are on par with the ones provided on international flights, small and not comfortable. On top of that the hotel only provides a twin size sheet as means for a comforter. The blinds barely cover the window and you can hear EVERYTHING outside the room. At 3am people were walking in the hallway making noise and the noise from the road was at all hours. I got a total of maybe 20 minutes of sleep, instead of the approximately 8 hours alloted. The roughly $65/night per room is extreme given the lack of basic ammenities and comfortable sleep option given. Also, in the 21st century only accepting cash upon check in is ABSURD. Credit card machines are cheap and readily available. Either do better or stop. The owner should be ashamed of the scam (s)he is running.

We stayed at Ging Ging Hotel and Resort during our weekend Round South Trip. It is a great place to stay especially when you are with your kids and the while family. 🙋‍♀️ ACCOMMODATING & FRIENDLY STAFF Their staff has been so accommodating and friendly. From the time we arrived until we left. They let us stay even we arrived earlier than the check in time. They let us place our food in the Bar's freezer for free. Aside from that, they are very responsive in messenger whenever we have some queries. 🛏️ ROOM IS CLEAN AND A COMFORTABLE TO STAY We stayed in different rooms since there are 14 of us. And yet, all rooms are clean and enough to accommodate us all. There is a TV, a little balcony and a hot & cold shower. In our room, we have a mini ref too. ⛱️ TWO SWIMMING POOLS & A BEACH We all enjoyed a lot especially the kids because we were able to swim all we want. There are 2 swimming pools on each side. Plus the beach. You can use the pool from 8AM to 9PM. 🥂 BAR FOR FOOD & DRINKS If you don't bring foods and won't like cooking, they have a bar where you can order from. And the rooms come with free breakfast too in the bar. We had our breakfast late so we had few options with the menu. 🏞️ AMAZING VIEW The view is amazing and relaxing. They have a Rooftop where you can stay until 9PM. 🛣️ACCESSIBLE AND EASY TO LOCATE The resort is just along the National road and very easy to locate. It is close to Gaisano Grand and Cuartel of Oslob. Overall, we had a great and fun stay at Ging Ging Hotel & Resort. It is very recommendable especially if you want some quiet and relaxing place. You can bring your own food and cook there for a fee.

We arrived late at Oslob so we didn’t have many options left There aren’t many things to do in Oslob besides the Whale shark watching that ends at 12:00 So you don’t need more than one day there to explore it Ging Ging looked very nice hotel by the beach on the photos so we booked it Although there is no beach in front of the hotel and the its located 17 km away from the whale shark point The room was small but nice with aircondition , hot shower and good mattress Breakfast wasn’t something special The employees on the front desk were really helpfull with everything Also they can help you rent a scooter and deliver it to you to the hotel but the price is 600per day

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel while we were in Oslob. We got the bus from Cebu City and it dropped us right on the main road outside the hotel - very convenient as we had luggage to carry. Good room for the money we could not believe the cost for the room included breakfast in the morning also. The staff were lovely and helpful. The view of the sunrise in the morning from pool is fabulous!! The pancake breakfast was my favourite part... the pancakes were AMAZING. So good we stayed a second night at this hotel after only planning 1 night. :) ... also have to add Gumar who drives the tricycle outside of the hotel is fantastic!

Excellent service, good food, very clean room and surroundings and pool, very nice vista.Urchins in seawater in front of hotel, be cautious. Good parking. Room is small if used by more than two people. A/C and TV work well, WiFi is weak in room, works better in lobby. Creditcards are not accepted for restaurant bills or room charges, this should be possible if tourism is important. Can use local bus to and from Whale watching, about 24 peso one way. Distance to whale watching is about 14 km's.

We had the pleasure to stay here for 7 nights in June, the hotel is in a perfect place, the setting is just right. The rooms are fairly small but you won't spend much time in there. The pool and outside seating area are brilliant, you can sit and see an abundance of fish, turtles 40 metres out if you keep an eye out and within a few feet of the pier/ eating area, barracuda chasing the small fish. Snorkelling is superb and within 40m your looking over the abyss of the reef. The food is just superb, a must try is crispy pata, whole deep fried pork leg. A little disappointed at breakfast as no bacon which comes with the American breakfast, but ham was offered which we accepted, the remaining 5 days there was no bacon or ham?, no ice tea on any day although it's part of the breakfast too. They have 6 drivers who work for them and John was ours for the time we were there, I can't say enough about this man, warm, friendly and just a pleasure to have had him to show us about. 50 peso return into town, 400 peso for whale shark trip (10k away) and they will spend 3.5 hrs with you as they sort the tickets and stand in line for you. Enough said, if you want a really nice place to stay with staff who are just the best, stay here. Thank you all for a wonderfull stay.
