This is just a very average hotel for tourists/ divers to stay a night or two in Oslob for whale shark viewing.

Nothing fancy about the room as it’s just like any 1-2 stars hostel. There is a pool that looks like 80s design.

However, the customer service is surprisingly good and the restaurant serve some basic but tasty breakfast.

We had some simple dinner at the restaurant too- not great but acceptable as most the the dishes were too salty.

Stayed at the resort during our tour of south Cebu for 4 nights. The property is quiet nice though much effort can be invested in keeping the toilets and bathrooms clean(soap traces, spider webs and stained tiles).

The outstanding part of our stay was the staff and service. Oliver, Kim, Mario and JoJo made our evenings and dinings memorable and nice. They always went an extra mile. A special shout out Jay our tour guide and kuya Jassie for exceptional love and services. Oooh and the beautiful sea view when dining at the resort restaurant and bar

This hotel is decent, clean, amazing views and a fun pool area. Dining is outdoors with the beautiful sounds of the sea. We were a group of 16 and occupied 4 different rooms. The rooms are small, basic and bathroom is small as well. They are pretty clean but expect your stuff to get wet since it's a standing shower and I can't recall if there was a curtain to separate the toilet area. The A/C units are window mounted but it definitely kept the room nice and cool. you do need the room key in the room for electricity, so it;s a nice power saving tactic. Room doesn't take too long to cool off.

What makes this hotel exceptional is the staff. We first spoke with Chito over the phone to reserve our rooms prior to our trip. So kind and courteous. As we are overseas, he allowed us the arrangement to pay upon arrival. He informed us that cash is best for payment. Upon arrival, his staff helped tag and bring our bags to the different rooms. We were able to quickly change into our swim clothes to enjoy the pool and breathtaking views.

Food was delicious and I can't remember his name (George?), was the BEST. He took a few of us to the market so that we can pick out food we wanted to eat for dinner. My mom is very particular about food and is an amazing cook. She really enjoyed all the food as well. In addition, he would help guide us in town when I needed to get specific food like pizza/ pasta for my son that has food allergies. They were so accommodating and made sure my son's food were safe for him.

Another little fun thing is that we wanted massages so they found a couple of masseuse for a rooftop massage. Just a nice little treat while on vacation.

They arranged the tricycles for us (16 people in 4 tricycles) to go to the Whale Shark and back. This was the first tricycle rides for our kdis and it was so much fun! Chito also found and booked us 2 drivers to take us to Cebu City and helped negotiate the rates. We stopped at Aguinid, Kawasan (skip this, not as awesome as Aguinid, and CarCar market for some lechon before arriving at our hotel.

We truly enjoyed our stay and while accommodations aren't fancy, it was decent and the hospitality from Chito and his staff made us feel so special. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My one little thing I hope they can do is to make it smoke free or at least have a designated smoking area. On our last day there, a group of young guys checked in and were smokers so it was a bit unpleasant to have that around the pool area. We're not smokers so it's just an annoyance when we're used to no smoking areas at hotels.

This hotel is in a great location right on the water and just a few short minutes to the swimming with whale sharks experience. This is where all the positives end (minus the restaurant which is actually quite good). The room is dingy at best and feels like the owner doesn’t even care and gave up. The pillows are on par with the ones provided on international flights, small and not comfortable. On top of that the hotel only provides a twin size sheet as means for a comforter. The blinds barely cover the window and you can hear EVERYTHING outside the room. At 3am people were walking in the hallway making noise and the noise from the road was at all hours. I got a total of maybe 20 minutes of sleep, instead of the approximately 8 hours alloted. The roughly $65/night per room is extreme given the lack of basic ammenities and comfortable sleep option given. Also, in the 21st century only accepting cash upon check in is ABSURD. Credit card machines are cheap and readily available. Either do better or stop. The owner should be ashamed of the scam (s)he is running.

The place is simple, and clean, with a nice swimming pool. But there's no beach in this resort. The food is surprisingly good. Staff are nice. But it would have been better if they accept credit cards. All in all, it was a good hotel.

We arrived late at Oslob so we didn’t have many options left
There aren’t many things to do in Oslob besides the Whale shark watching that ends at 12:00
So you don’t need more than one day there to explore it
Ging Ging looked very nice hotel by the beach on the photos so we booked it
Although there is no beach in front of the hotel and the its located 17 km away from the whale shark point
The room was small but nice with aircondition , hot shower and good mattress
Breakfast wasn’t something special
The employees on the front desk were really helpfull with everything
Also they can help you rent a scooter and deliver it to you to the hotel but the price is 600per day

Came down from Carmen Cebu with my wife and her family to Oslob to whale watch and we chose this resort. Very reasonable for 6 of us and the room was comfortable & clean. The aircon was efficient keeping the temperature comfortable all night. There was a hot/cold shower. The staff were extremely courteous and friendly. The food was very good with fair sized portions, the mango shake tasted extremely fresh and was delicious. All in all, great value for money, a nice swimming pool, lit up at night and you could use until 9pm. It backs on to the sea so the gentle waves washing against the seawall helped us all have a pleasant night.

I like their barkAda room a lot. Beautiful view. Clean room and cordial staff. Will recommend.15 minute drive to Oslob for whale shark. New, clean and with hot showers. The rooms are somewhat small but a perfect place for overnight to visit Badian.

We had the pleasure to stay here for 7 nights in June, the hotel is in a perfect place, the setting is just right. The rooms are fairly small but you won't spend much time in there. The pool and outside seating area are brilliant, you can sit and see an abundance of fish, turtles 40 metres out if you keep an eye out and within a few feet of the pier/ eating area, barracuda chasing the small fish. Snorkelling is superb and within 40m your looking over the abyss of the reef. The food is just superb, a must try is crispy pata, whole deep fried pork leg. A little disappointed at breakfast as no bacon which comes with the American breakfast, but ham was offered which we accepted, the remaining 5 days there was no bacon or ham?, no ice tea on any day although it's part of the breakfast too. They have 6 drivers who work for them and John was ours for the time we were there, I can't say enough about this man, warm, friendly and just a pleasure to have had him to show us about. 50 peso return into town, 400 peso for whale shark trip (10k away) and they will spend 3.5 hrs with you as they sort the tickets and stand in line for you. Enough said, if you want a really nice place to stay with staff who are just the best, stay here. Thank you all for a wonderfull stay.

Any transportation for shark watching place?
Answer from Js M

You can ask the hotel to hire a van if you like from the hotel. But we thought it cost too much just for a ride to and from the whale shark watching. So instead, we hired a few tricycles (the motorcycles with a side car). There's 16 of us and there would be about 4 to a trike (2 adults inside (plus our big bags of towels, sunscreen, snorkel), 1 adult facing backwards, 1 adult sitting behind the driver). That was the most cost effective way to get there and back. The drivers also waited for us after our excursion to bring us back. We asked if we could stop in the main town area to pick up food and that was no problem as well. We had Chito and his staff arrange the drivers for us. Very trustworthy and the drivers even help carry our bags to the check in area and watched our stuff while we went on the boats. So nice and very courteous. Even offered to carry my toddler for a bit.
