Great value accommodation in Oslob. Excellent hosts and service. A great breakfast for 100 pesos. Good wifi. A short stroll from town to restaurants and 7eleven. The whale shark tour provided by the hotel was excellent in price and content. They transport you and guide you through the process and will wait with your belongings while you do the snorkel or boat trip. Our room had a balcony, hot water and good air con. Highly recommend
Go here! Super kind host, really clean room with hot water and a nice view over the ocean in the back. We even had a small terrace where we could chill and watch the fishermen. It's a 10 minute walk or 2 minute tricycle drive to the restaurants. The host helped us with everything and could answer all of our questions. Aircon is really strong but loud. And expect about 10 roosters waking you up around 6am. Highly recommend staying here though.
hello everyone, I invited to come here, first the staff was really friendly with me and they will give you all informations you want, good Wi-Fi connexion, the place is new "2017" & clean place. Like this place because the bus drop you directly in front off the hostel, stop "island view opposite cockpit in langunde Oslob" They can bring you to see Wales sharks early morning 5am, to 6h30 ,they know the place well, they work like a team and recommend you scuba diving. enjoy it
It's a budget place to stay in oslob if you want to go whale shark watching. The owners are helpful and kind to have waited on our arrival at their place, it was very late in the evening when we arrived. the room has an electric fan and aircon. good place
Best Place to stay when you want to make Whale shark watching! We made Diving with Whale Sharks and were the First Next to the sharks :) Everyting was Great organized By the owners Even though we Came so late in the evening and booked directly. Thank you!
First, I’d like to thank the owners of this establishment for being so welcoming and for working tirelessly to make the visit for my friends and I one not likely to be forgotten. I discovered the property on booking.com but was forced to discuss the final booking with the owners directly via email (issues with date changes on the dot com). Communication was regular, efficient and full of useful details to help me navigate from Cebu city down to Oslob. The building is roughly a ten to fifteen minute walk to the Spanish barrack ruins, an old church, several restaurants and a 7/11. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The buildings are colorful to match the vibe of the place. It’s worth noting the wild chickens from neighboring lots get started early, but you’re up with the sun for adventure anyway. The room (single room was A/c) was clean, spacious and the air conditioner worked like a champ. There was plenty of table too space and a wardrobe for large luggage and hangable clothing. Hit water in the shower (relatively small bathroom). There was a balcony with furniture to sit with views of the sea. Sunrises from that balcony stole my breath away. Breakfast is offered at an additional charge and is made fresh to order. Personal favorites include the pancakes and no. 2 on the menu. There are dorm and family rooms available on the property and plenty of common area space for chillin after long days of sea adventure. Speaking of sea adventure, the owners can help arrange tours to neighboring islands, waterfalls and even snorkeling/diving with whale sharks in the area. Your gracious hosts will snap fun photos of your journey the entire way and make them available to you on their Facebook page for download/sharing. Tips: if traveling to Oslob bring enough local currency to sustain the trip. There is one arm in town that is frequently down or runs out of money. There are no exchanges around. Arms can be found in the towns before and after Oslob, but you’ll find those atms in worse condition. Additionally, the atms tend to be from local or government banks which do not have compatibility with most debit cards. …
We stayed 4 nights at this lovely place. Our room was basic, but it had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea, and the shower was good. It's located just a 10 minute walk to town, or a lovely area where there are some ruins, an old church and a fish sanctuary. We went to Oslob specifically to swim with the whale sharks, but the day we needed to pay for the trip, the only ATM in town was off line, so Raoul the owner kindly lent us the money until the next day, but we still had to travel 120km round trip on our scooters to find a working ATM. Therefore, make sure you have enough money on you for accommodation/spending before you get to Oslob! From here, we also travelled to Moalboal, Osmena Peak, Kawasan Falls, and the stunning Tumalog Falls on our scooters, so It shows what a good location it's in. Highly recommend a stay here.…
We booked a dorm and paid 400 Pisos a night. The room had aircon and a bathroom. I thought the matress was okay and I didn’t like the blanket it felt like I slept with a napkin. The room was clean as well. The location is a 5 minute scooter ride away from the center of oslob. The owners were super nice and friendly! They treated us like family and we watched the royal wedding together with them. They also organized a boat to Bohol for us and drove us there. They were so helpful! We ended up staying 4 nights Thank you for the nice stay! Ayo Ayo!
The place was OK. Owner was welcoming and helpful. even gave us instructions on how to get to Kawasan Falls. If you decide to book here, make sure you bring food... lots of it, as there is no near convenient store nor restaurant to eat. You can ask for free hot water, so yeah, make sure you have instant coffee. Room was relaxing and big enough for 3 adults. There's Wifi but room doesn't have TV so make alternatives. Our room was on the 2nd floor and there's a veranda where you can stay and chat. Maybe I was just expecting a beach to swim in since it says Island View but it was literally just a view. no access to the beach. We were brought to the Whale Shark watching site in a tricycle, along with 2 other guests. it was probably a 20 min drive so it wasn't that bad but it would have been better if they had a van so guests (especially the foreigners) are more comfortable. And if they could serve ala carte meals.…
We booked a double deluxe room with seaside view. The bed was very small and room was very basic. View was beautiful and WiFi/AC worked well. Sheets were course, no blankets, only cold water in the shower, water worked sparingly and it seemed the owners shut off the water in the mornings. Hotel next to cock fighting farm! Dozens of roosters crow all night and morning! Wear ear plugs and bring headphones. Owners/workers were helpful about 60% of the time.
