We booked a treehouse however we were kindly upgraded to a junior suite on arrival which was very kind - thank you! The bnb itself is situated on the edge of a cliff with an amazing view. They have created a staircase right down to the water which is brilliant. The cabin itself is small as you'd expect however the bed is comfortable. The bathroom was tiny and had a dusky smell. The shower head was also broken which made it difficult as the toilet room acts as a wet room and it's very tight for space. The aircon was good and the food in their restaurant there was also tasty and quick. We booked the whale sharks through the bnb and they provided transport down to the boat area which is very close. Over all the accommodation was average but the location and the views were breathtaking.

It was about 1,000 peso's to swim with the whale sharks through stay n' save. It was fantastic! They send someone early to save your spot, you leave by car at 5:30am and are back for breakfast before 7am. They even checked on us at 5:15am to make sure we were up. Food is basic, but they do have drinks and food at decent prices. They are also right on the water and give you free snorkeling gear if you wish. Snorkeling wasn't great, but the water was nice. Great spot to see the sunrise. The ONLY real complaints I had we're the bathrooms and roosters. Bathrooms were perfectly functional, but the dirtiest on our 3 week trip through the Philippines. AND THE ROOSTERS! The neighbors have like 20 rooster who start crowing around 2am AND GO ALL NIGHT LONG. I am a heavy sleeper (have literally slept through being stunned with a stun gun, without having drank any alcohol) but I could not sleep through the roosters. They crow every 5 seconds ALL NIGHT LONG. Great place! Unless you want to sleep.

Stayed here a couple of times not because everything is great here, but because Agoda rates are way cheaper than their published rates. That's it!

Let me share a couple of things about this accommodation and their services.

Pros:
* The place has an awesome view of sunrise
* Has access to the beach (beware of strong waves sometimes)

Cons:
* Room rates are way higher than other accommodations in the area. If you want discounted rates, check Agoda
* Rooms are very basic even the most expensive one
* Food and drinks are very pricey. Serving size is too small for its price and not worth it. (Unfortunately, there's no other nearby resto or food kiosks). Not to mention, they served me a reheated meal one time. Disgusting!
* Mosquitoes are all over the place. They don't even know how to deal with that problem. So, just bring any insect repellent lotion instead.

Already shared these feedback to the owner/manager but I don't think they are doing any actions to these things. After a couple of visits, you'll see the same issues.

What I like about this place:
1. New (just months old)
2. Safe and comfy tent experience; No foul odor.
3. 10 minute-walk to the whale watching
4. 10 minute-ride to Tumalog Falls (by single motorcycle or habal-habal)
5. 5 minute-ride to Boat Terminal going to Sumilon Island (by single motorcycle or habal-habal)
6. They serve food
7. Interior resort design
8. Affordability
9. Friendly and helpful staff; They make sure you will enjoy your stay with the resort
10. Cliff with stairs heading down the shore
11. Location - entrance just along the road

Will definitely book again here and try their tree house!

Terrible: food tasted disgusting. Room was dirty and smelled. Airco was insufficient. We were “upgraded” to a smaller room with an extra bed, however the double bed was so small it was uncomfortable and the other bed was not made. Staff was unfriendly and unwilling to refund our second night. We left, and stayed at another hotel. Disappointing ..... do not stay here!!

I stayed overnight for a tent called glamorous camping. The tent is nice with a bed, lampshade, fan with lights, towel, pillow and a sheet to keep you warm. I slept well throughout the night and early morning as early as 5:30 am, together with the other couple of Japanese or Chinese guests. The staffs are very friendly and accommodating.

During our two night stay we were underwhelmed by what we got for a quite significant amount of money. Throughout the Philippines this was by far the worst quality we got for our money. Rooms generally smell horrendous, we think it was Gecko poop which wasn’t taken too serious by the staff. The restaurant is also something you would only see in kitchen nightmares...

Very good service and staff. Super nice rooms. If you get the chance stay for more than one night. They dug up a banana plant for me to bring with me home to Sweden and i also got a coconut. The room was very nice in the tree,

Stayed last December 5 to 6 '18, we arrived as early as 6am yet they allowed us to leave our bags and even gave us a free ride to the Whale shark Watching and also offered us a cheaper package to Sumilon Island compared to what I've found. Finished our whale shark trip and Sumilon island around 10am. The location is very near to whale shark watching area. They allowed us to check in as early as 11am since the room is available already. Luna and Johnny were very accommodating and were eager to help us and answer our queries. They also offer their L300 Van to take us to the Falls with the same price if we will be getting the habal habal. They don't take advantage of their guests instead give them advice on getting cheaper price for tours or trips around the place.

Wifi is okay too.

Will definitely stay again here if we were around Oslob again. Thank you, Stay n Save.

Upon arrival at the airport ride a taxi and tell the driver to take you to south bus terminal. It is the day of the festivity called Sinulog, so probably there is a rerouting and expect a very traffic situation and the south bus terminal will be transferred temporarily to the south road properties area. My advise is just to stay for one night in any hotels in Mactan and proceed the following day to the south bus terminal for the trip to Oslob. Just tell the bus personnel there that you are bound to Oslob.
