I was not expecting such a beautiful hotel in the middle of Carlsbad. I booked the Hyatt at a friends suggestion and was not disappointed. The thoughtful extras, like water on arrival and exit... chocolates by the bed and exemplary cleaning staff made all the difference. And the view is not so bad either - gorgeous views of the bay, hills and calming exterior of the hotel and surrounding villas. I was traveling for work and it ended up being a mini vacation... highly recommend.

We have stayed at the Aviara when Four season managed the product and it was excellence. This is my third stay at Park Hyatt and the first two was excellent but we won’t be coming back after the third, The hotel room we had looked old and tired.

The staff was top notch for our event all week. The bartenders we had were the best I have had to deal with at one of these events we have put on. The hotel staff was great with helping us with every last minute request and always with a smile. The food, just wow!! Best breakfast in town!! Andrew at the lobby bar from day 1 remembered us even as we were just walking by. Oh and the sushi are you kidding me at a lobby bar?!! I would come back just for the sushi and a Woodford old fashioned!! I truly cannot say enough about everything and everyone at Aviara, I can't wait to come back for a personal visit instead of work.

We got married at the beautiful property. We were very happy with overall experience from events team and hotel staff. We played at Avaira golf and played back 9's and we got the special discount for the wedding, golf course is fantastic, get the balls which only land on fairway. We loved the property and experience.
