First, we booked a stay in a disclosed location downtown LA but it was just a bad experience for us all around. Bad smell at check in, homelessness everywhere, no fridge, iron, trash cans, or microwave. One of the reasons to come to LA was for the food. With that being said we tried Dog Haus in West Hollywood. On the way back to the freeway we passed the tangerine 🍊 and I had my girlfriend google it. The reviews were great so I checked out the next day from hotel X and checked in to the 🍊. It's a cool rebranded 50's vibe hotel in burbank. There are so many restaurants in the area for any type of food you crave. Customer service was great, the prices were even better there's a mountain view pending on the room you stay in and there was an iron. 😜 The 🍊 will be my choice from hear on out. If you are face with the choice between the travel lodge down the street or the Tangerine, spend the extra $20 on the Tangerine. The rooms are stylish and the bathroom was immaculate. Staff was very nice and there are restaurants, fast food joints and grocery stores within a stones throw.

The only real issue was there wasn’t a microwave in the room. Everything else was amazing and the staff is so perfect. The cleaning crew is so thorough and nice and sweet. Thank you guys so much. I’m driving 24 hours back to Houston and very well rested because of how quiet the room was. Super glad we chose the Tangerine.

Wonderful location steps to nice outdoor restaurants. Safe, quiet area with easy access to Hollywood, and major freeways. Clean & comfortable rooms. Check in was fast and seamless. Would stay again. Highly recommend.

The Tangerine is okay the rooms are small the bed was comfy however the parking is very small and hard to maneuver in and out of it. However, I had this front desk person I will just say she was very unprofessional and told me she was doing me a favor. I was explained one thing regarding their billing in person and then she changes her mind and starts calling my room being very rude stating it's urgent to resolve a billing issue she claimed could be resolved the next day. I plan on speaking to upper management because she hung up on me telling me she was doing me a favor. I will never stay here again I never had a terrible experience here in California until I stayed at the Tangerine. The place is okay but this female employee should be educated on etiquette and professionalism.
