"Though it's far from lake but we had enjoy the view over there and also we had good experience of staying in tent and also got great service from staff with good food and hospitality and the staffs were co-operative and also got bonefire...."
The site of camps is at mann not at spangmik.tgey have only 12 camps & max 24 people can stay. Nice location good service & cosy camps but food is not as per their charges, even breakfast is so simple that you feel you are at some sarai not at luxury camps as they claim. Don't go on pictures, camps are cosy but very simple. Not worth of 3500 per night. Better choose some other camps which are better & at same price like Pangong heritage camps.
Location: The new location which they call it offbeat is at least 1+ km away from the lakeside. No easy walking distance. No signboards were placed. Food: Okay Electricity: Only 3.5 hours 7 pm to 10:30 pm. After that, you have to plan your bathroom schedule in the dark. No heads-up was given by the host before we arrived at the location about the electricity situation. When raised this concern to host, she told us: ***"Kids are scared of dark, you can use your phone torchlight while using the bathroom."*** They also provide bonfires, but that also comes with mismanagement from host. There are no guidelines around what time and which place bonfires can be arranged. When we gave feedback to the host about this then she again called us "first time travelers". Wifi/Cellular coverage: Nil, once you reach there you are stuck. Tent: Regular quality, we rented 2 tents both of them have holes in the bathroom area, making it very very cold during the night. Overall: I would recommend staying away from this property unless you want a bad experience from the host.…
Location: Pangong Lake is hardly 150 mtrs away from the campsite. But many other camps around the campsite blocked the view of lake. Tents: Tent are big enough with all basic amenities and toilet. Chains of most the tents are not working. Staff: Hotel staff is OK, co-operative and friendly. Food: Food was also at par. WiFi: WiFi is not available at campsite. Overall: We don't face any problem at campsite, but there are many other options available near lake.
Stay at Wonderland Tourist Camps at Pongong Lake was truly WONDERful with very courteous and helpful staff, given the conditions of extreme weather that changes from morning till night falls, Food was homely and hygienic
