Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.

I will start with the "love" - the people here are outstanding. I would like to send my compliments to Amanda (concierge), Axel (Rolls Royce driver) and Mario (rooftop restaurant). There were many others who were also just lovely... As for the stay itself, I booked a grand

It’s nice to be in a classy five-star hotel with meeting space for a small little conference. Both indoor and outdoor space. And creatively set up for a speaker as well. It’s nice to see how a little boots can be fit in one room, a speaker in a second room, and lunch outside.

Quite simply the most fabulous aspect of this hotel is the complimentary Rolls Royce Ghost and its courteous driver Axel. We were unaware the hotel had three prestige vehicles (I believe two Rolls Royce and one BMW 7 Series) with complimentary service within the suburb of 90210.

I have not stayed at the Beverly Wilshire but our bike tour guide said it’s iconic from the 20s when they started encouraging tourism before there was anything. Now it’s known for rock stars partying and destroying room. Yuck is all I thought. Anthony Hopkins was at breakfast when we were there and apparently Peninsula is a fav of Reese Witherspoon - more in line with who I would want to be around than some rowdy drunk rockers.

How does The Peninsula compare to The Beverly Wilshire?
The Beverly Wilshire is old and dated stuffy over-priced rooms and they have had crimes within the hotel, elevators. You won't find it in the newspapers or on Google bad for business to tell the truth. The Peninsula is a first class Hotel, with inhouse security beautiful villas, and 5 star amenities, 24 hour connoisseur, a fantastic dining room table 5 is my favorite. Shopping? they will drive you to your destination in style. They also have cars in the event you want to drive yourself all free as a paid guest. Free Cancellation · No Booking Fees Hope this helps

The Peninsula Beverly Hills is the only hotel in Beverly Hills to receive the coveted Forbes Five-Star award for over 25 years so we’re very proud of our unique position of being #1 in the marketplace. Having just completed a multi-million dollar refurbishment, The Peninsula feels more like a private residence. The villas behind the main building are set within lush tropical gardens, a quiet respite from the city. Many of our rooms and villas have residential touches like fireplaces, outdoor spas, kitchens, and large garden patios for lounging. The main difference between the two hotels is The Peninsula Beverly Hills is within walking distance to all of Beverly Hills' shopping, dining and nightlife. If you book a suite, you will be offered access to a complimentary BMW vehicle to drive to the beach or go on a day trip. Finally, The Peninsula has four different dining options…Hotel Bel-Air has one which can be limiting for some guests who like a variety of dining options. We’d be happy to quote some rates for you, please direct message or email us with your dates for a personalized quote. We hope to welcome you to The Peninsula Beverly Hills.
