Nestled in the heart of Beverly Hills, The Maybourne Beverly Hills garners praise for its sumptuous amenities, including a rooftop pool and exceptional dining options, all of which are pet-friendly. The hotel's atmosphere strikes a sophisticated balance of modernity and tradition, despite some opinions of decor inconsistency. With its prime location, guests enjoy easy access to local attractions while basking in the hotel's tranquil ambiance.
The service at Maybourne is frequently lauded for its attentiveness, enhancing the overall luxurious experience. While the rooms are celebrated for their comfort and design, the cleanliness, particularly in the bathrooms, stands out, contributing to the hotel's acclaim as a worthy indulgence in Beverly Hills.

Detailed Reviews
The new management group at the Maybourne are certainly starting strong. We arrived late after a cross country flight and they greeted us with smiles in the middle of the night, exceptional service at check-in, a lovely plate of chilled fruit and a bottle of sparkling wine on ice with glasses and fresh flowers. The room itself is well designed with electric drapes to the balcony overlooking the garden, a functional desk, sofa, comfortable bedding with luxurious sheets, a flat screen tv and a generously sized bathroom with separate tub and shower, double vanity, and commode room. The property is lovely and incredibly well located in the heart of Beverly Hills with Sugarfish and Maestros on one side and the incomparable shopping of Rodeo drive on the other. We highly recommend this property.

I am currently staying at The Maybourne Beverly Hills for a work trip and am blown away by the hotel. I stayed at the property multiple times before when it was a Montage and was disappointed my last few times as I felt the finishes (particularly in within the rooms) were tired. Maybourne Hotel group has come in and renovated the hotel making it a much brighter, chic and detailed orientated resort. I can say with certainty that this is easily one of the top hotels I have ever stayed at which is even more impressive considering it is essentially an urban hotel and does not offer beach access (obviously with its location in BH).
Starting with check in, I was greeted by Tim at the front desk. He made the check in process extremely personal and welcoming. You could tell that he genuinely concerned with making sure my check in process was great, efficient and I was happy with my room. Again, the level of attention to detail could be felt.
I had originally booked a Maybourne Room but was upgraded to a Maybourne Terrace Suite. The first thing I noticed after the brand new carpeted and lighting fixtures in the hallway was the updated paint and furniture within the room. Gone are the yellow / gold Italian style interior design. Maybourne has instead replaced the old tired furniture with new, comfortable, bright furniture. The walls being white and having brighter lighting throughout the room also makes it feel much more airy and alive. Needless to say, the room is full with countless extras further carrying out the theme of attention to detail.
Some of the in-room amenities that are included include an Illy coffee machine, embroidered towels everywhere, Bose speakers, 3 tv's, table and floor lamps galore, interesting coffee table books, fully stocked mini bar and a very functional TV interface that allows for easy streaming.
I also took advantage of the $95 daily breakfast credit and had a wonderful / healthy breakfast this morning. I was able to place my order the night before by placing the menu outside my room which is something I have not seen in a long time. Breakfast arrived promptly at 7am as I had ordered and was incredible.
In review, the Maybourne Hotel Group should be extremely proud of this hotel. It is extremely impressive what they have done with the old Montage. I highly recommend this hotel and am extremely grateful for everyone working here who makes you feel completely pampered as a guest at The Maybourne Beverly Hills.

My husband and I eloped to this hotel last week and we had such a good experience that we have vowed to go back every year on our anniversary. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous; a true oasis in the heart of busy Beverly Hills, but more importantly the service was impeccable. The staff were so friendly, helpful, efficient, kind and fun and they truly went above and beyond to make our experience stress free and extra special. Originally, we were having trouble deciding where to elope and other hotels I called were a bit negative about my request (ahem, the Beverly Hills Hotel) that it was a breath of fresh air to speak to the receptionist D'Janay who had such a positive and helpful attitude. Not only did she offer to store items that we needed to send ahead, but she also gave us a deal on our room, measured and took photos of the different suite options for me so I could plan our ceremony and was available via email to answer questions right up until our stay. Upon arrival there was champagne and strawberries waiting in our lovely suite and the staff all seemed so excited and happy that we were marrying there. They had even unpacked all the boxes of decor I had sent ahead and rushed up the morning of the wedding with some last minute things we needed (tablecloth, step ladder etc). The balcony of the Grand Garden Terrace Suite was such a beautiful setting to do our little elopement ceremony and we took great photos up on the pool terrace, the 3rd floor terrace and down in the gardens next to the fountain. The hotel really just let us do our thing! People who have seen the photos literally asked if we were gallivanting in Europe. Anyway, the free champagne flowed all weekend, the concierge made wonderful reservations for us, and the house car drivers were so efficient and friendly. The food and staff at the Terrace restaurant were also absolutely amazing (the brunch French toast is a must)! We were so sad to leave but they have customers for life now. If you are trying to decide between this place and others in the area, trust me, pick the Maybourne. I've done the research and visited the other places and this is hands down the best in Beverly Hills.

The Maybourne Beverly Hils has an amazing staff to match it's incredible property. There are some updates and refurbishments being done, which is why 4 stars for the rooms. Our room was large and well equipped but the carpet needed updating, and the public spaces are beautiful. We booked through AMEX and were given an upgrade along with the other great amenities, which included breakfast at the Terrace (or room service) each morning. We took advantage of dining at the Terrace because the weather was absolutely gorgeous and the scenery, overlooking a pretty park is lovely. The location of the hotel is ideal with shopping and restaurants so close by. We used the Fitness Center (outside under shelter) which was great! The rooftop pool area is stunning, and you can order room service to be delivered there. A few of the staff members I'd like to mention are Edgar, who checked us in and graciously gave us a tour of the property. He surprised us by calling Maestro's, where we were having dinner our first night, to have a special buttercake provided for our anniversary! Special thanks also to Lisa at the Terrace restaurant who served us breakfast and lunch on various days. When she learned we were dining in the Terrace for dinner she had complimentary Champagne sent to us to begin our special meal. Micah and Christian were both so welcoming and hospitable, even joking that we dined there so often they would have a metal placard made with our name for the table! I had the most amazing massage from Victoria in the spa. I look forward to being able to use the mineral tub once restrictions are lifted. What a beautiful space! Finally, Ryan and Jose in valet, and Josh at the front desk sent us off with a warm farewell. I didn't catch everyone's names that we encountered, and for that I am truly sorry. We felt the Covid safety measures were very well implemented and completely safe during our visit. I mustn't neglect to mention the absolutely stunning flowers throughout the hotel. They were beautiful as was the Terrace/bar area overlooking the garden.

We are enjoying our stay at the new Maybourne Hotel! We have stayed here in the past when it was the Montage. The Claridge Hotel group is doing a fantastic job upping their game! Our room on the 5th floor has been redone and it is totally of the moment design wise! The Dyson hair dryer, new carpet and other features feel very upscale. We celebrated my husband's Birthday at The Terrace last night and we and our friends thought it was a phenomenal evening!
Thanks to Jeremiah and the entire team for making it a night to remember! The food and service were outstanding!
We recommend the Maybourne enthusiastically and can't wait to return!

We have adopted the Mayourne as our home away from home in Beverly Hills rather than staying with my parents during this pandemic. Over our several stays (typically when flying in and out of LAX just 25 minutes away), we are continually impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. The property is exceptionally well located between three of our favorite restaurants (Sugarfish, Maestro, and Avra) and it is a very short walk from the high end shopping of Rodeo Drive. Recent improvements to the property have given it an even more luxurious feel and every detail is attended to in the guest rooms, from the smallest to the largest. The Terrace Restaurant always offers excellent food and service and the in room dining is exquisite. Overall this is an extraordinary property run by an accomplished group.

A great location in the heart of Beverly Hills set in a beautiful California style garden courtyard oasis. The Maybourne Beverly Hills has acquired this prestigious address from the Montage this year.
My first visit to the Maybourne Hotel, and hopefully many more, was to attend a small private VIP red carpet premiere at the prestigious Winn Slavin Fine Art Gallery Beverly Hills.
Upon my arrival I found myself feeling instantly at home and felt a warm welcome from the attentive and professional staff. Gibbie Flowers and Kevin Doradea I commend you both for your impeccable manners and doing an amazing job, it shows you love what you do!
Looking forward to many future visits!

Nicely appointed property with attentive staff and quality food. Overall an excellent place to stay due to location, amenities, and just an great overall vibe. Only downsides are minor. Cigar Bar charges a ridiculous $100 cover charge and the bathrooms still have ancient TVs over the tubs (but otherwise the bathrooms are very very nice).

You can't find a better location in Beverly Hills -- great restaurants, variety of shopping, handy drug stores, fresh food market and anything you need only steps away. Facilities were recently stylishly renovated. Staff is will trained and helpful.

I have not been out to dinner since mid last year and I decided to treat myself to a night at the Maybourne Bar and I didn't regret it.
The food was great, the atmosphere was perfect and the service was spectacular. We were helped by both Eddie and Bryan who were both fantastic and recommended the flatbread which is now my fav!
My friends and I could not stop raving about them when the manager stopped in to check on us.
If anyone has been nervous about getting back out there after the pandemic, I would 100% recommend the Maybourne Bar as a way to comfortably get back out there.

I totally agree with the response above.
When we were there last month, June, the hotel was clean, fresh and has a great staff. Felt like everything was clean, new and eager to please.
Couldn’t have been happier…..will definitely return.
I’m pretty sure there aren’t
But, the fitness center is great. It’s half inside and half outside. They have outdoor terrace bikes, treadmills and ellipticals (more inside). The only issue was that most of the outdoor equipment was queaking (guess it’s from being outside).
Hope this helps
