We emailed the hotel and specifically asked for a room upstairs but ended up getting a room downstairs which was noisy, smelly and cold. We stayed in dozens of Premier Inns before but this was the first one with very uncomfortable bed. The bed did not look like a typical Premier Inn bed (definitely did not look like the photo on the website) and was quite low. The mattress looked beyond its useful life and was extremely uncomfortable. The carpet and the bathroom were dusty and smelly. We could hear noise from outside (cars), next doors and especially upstairs. It was an old wooden building and we heard loud noise from upstairs all night long. It was late May but inside the room was quite cold and the old heater worked initially for a few minutes and then stopped working. In summary, we could not sleep here. We will not return to this hotel. This property made us think again about staying in Premier Inn in the future.

Stayed for two nights whilst visiting family. All excellent. Room was clean, adequate size and cosy, despite the wild weather outside. Even with the window open, the traffic noise from the A30 wasn’t intrusive. Beds comfy, bathroom clean, well maintained and with a lovely rainfall shower. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the Penhale Round was excellent. Everything was in plentiful supply and the staff were friendly. Free parking outside very much appreciated too.

I stayed here the week of my wedding. The staff were so accommodating and couldn't do enough for me. In the evening before the wedding my whole family joined me for a meal in the restaurant. We ate before 6 so were able to get the meal deal which was fantastic price and quality! Lovely atmosphere in the pub. On the day of our wedding I went for breakfast, joined by some friends. Again fantastic quality and price, £9.50 for all you can eat and kids eat for free. We were very impressed. After our wedding we returned to find a card, rose petals and a bottle of prosecco from the staff. Unbelievable! We really didn't expect anything as we werent staying in a 'high end' Hotel but the staff went out of their way to do this for us. So nice of them and the whole week nothing was too much trouble. We always choice premier Inn for the amazing staff and this was no different........we will never stay anywhere else when we go away now. Reasonably priced and very helpful staff. Highly recommend

We have stayed at Fraddon Premier Inn several times as a base for visiting family. It is very comfortable and convenient. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the next door restaurant is good value.
