Good value for money and comfortable accommodation for a couple Modest in size but with such a great climate you don't need a lot of indoor space. Great pool for those not comfortable with swimming in the lagoon which is right in front of the property. Excellent safe snorkeling and a good variety of fish in the lagoon - even spotted a turtle briefly while out on the kayak. Fabulous unobstructed outlook so it's easy to know when to wander down for an even better view those great sunsets. An easy walk along the beach to the Pacific resort if you fancy and more formal meal (book ahead). For less pricy food and the best vegetarian option we found checkout Avatea cafe which is readily accessible on the scooter. Abera has helpful and friendly owners and staff. Great local knowledge and generous in terms of trying to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

To start at the beginning… I was incredibly appreciative of the amount of information Jael was able to share with me via email to help me plan our trip. We felt really comfortable heading off to Aitutaki even though we’d never been before. We were greeted at the airport by Kathy who welcomed us with a friendly smile and gave us both beautiful flower leis! We were driven back to our accommodation which was just amazing - beautiful views, beautiful villa with kitchen/lounge/bathroom & seperate bedroom, beautiful pool & deck area. There were kayaks to use & also a scooter for us to use! We snorkelled every single day just out the front of our room - there were literally gorgeous little fish in knee deep water in front of our villa! Snorkeling out a little further (always able to stand so not too deep) there were moorish idols, angel fish, starfish & just fish galore - we even saw a puffer fish! Kathy was so helpful & kind through our whole trip & offered us advice about all sorts of local things (where different shops were, where to find a sim card, the local market). On the day of our anniversary we were surprised by a beautiful breakfast including a bottle of bubbly that was delivered to our room - it even included gluten free items for me! The accommodation itself was really comfortable - the bed was comfy, the air con great at night, the outdoor setting on the deck is where we spent heaps of time and the chairs were very comfy for curling up with a book, the kitchen has everything you need and a full sized fridge! We would definitely stay here again & actually don’t think we’d stay anywhere else!

Yes, you read the title correctly people. 5 whole weeks of sheer relaxation, adventure and BLISS recently didn't at Aberas Villa #1 The experience, from start to finish was fabulous. So great in fact, that we're going back for 6 weeks NEXT year, and friends will join us for 4 of those, in the other villa that's part of the complex. Jael is a marvellous hostess. Unobtrusive, kind and every other word I could possibly think of, to describe the perfect owner of such a business. Don't 2nd guess where to stay, this is the BEST place there is.

Aberas offers an excellent standard of accommodation at a reasonable price, hosted by the welcoming and generous Jael. Both Villas share an outdoor saltwater pool that has separate toilet and shower facilities, with westerly views to the lagoon. Alberas also offers snorkelling equipment and the use of sea kayaks and stand up paddle boards for use by residents, an easy stroll from the Villas. Highly recommended.

The two units are perfect for couples. High quality self service and everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay. The breakfast was amazing and enough for lunch as well. Pick up and drop off service was excellent. We didn't want to leave. Perfectly situated near a restaurant and use of scooters to get around. Love this place thank you Jael and family for sharing your place and the perfect Aitutaki experience.

Abera's exceeded our expectations. The 2 villas were perfect for couples. We could have our privacy and also socialise between units. They were modern and had everything we needed. We had the breakfast provided by the Koru cafe (thoroughly recommend it) which did us for lunch and snacks as well, healthy and very fresh. Between relaxing by the pool or using the kayaks and being right on the beach for snorkelling, the villas were perfect. They also came with scooters for exploring the island. One of the scooters stopped working and they provided us with the use of their ute and then another scooter. Jael and her team went above and beyond to make our holiday relaxing and fun. Nothing was a problem. We will be back and for longer next time. Thank you :-)

We’ve had the absolute best time here despite lockdown news and issues with restaurants not accepting outside bookings. Jael, Aunty Kathy and her team are wonderful, warm and non intrusive. Beautiful island and beautiful people. The villas are perfect for 2 and for ultimate relaxation. They are new, clean and well appointed. The beach is a few steps away and stunning. Plus there is the pool and good quality outdoor furniture. The free moped is a bonus and we’ve zipped all around the island exploring. The daily breakfast from Koru (if you want it) was plentiful and healthy. Lots of places close by to pick up supplies. Do come to Aitutaki and check out Aberas. You won’t be disappointed. Heaven! 🐳🥥🌴🍹

Exceptional value and added extras included. I think they do need to charge a bit more, as these are well priced currently. We stayed for our last 3 nights here in Aitutaki opting to explore another side of the Island. Within walking distance to town, other resorts and restaurants. These boutique villas are super modern with the latest mod con, the pool a unique offer for this place and the beautiful private sandy snorkelling beach in front. These villaa have all the comforts you need and has its own Nespresso machine, access to a Washing Machine and airers to dry your clothes - all these added extras. Scooters available but you must be responsible driver. You have your own private space / well designed to allow you to enjoy the surrounding environment with an amazing view from all sides. Suitable for couples or small families its quiet and blissful. This place exceeded our expectations and we will be back. Kathy was there to greet us alway helpful and goes the extra mile, something you don’t get with the larger places - hotels as they are family owned, they care for their guest and their beautiful villas. Highly recommended and we will be back, Thank you 😊

Abera's is a terrific place to stay. It was our first time in Aitutaki and it certainly met our expectations. Jael and Ron are lovely, respectful hosts. We took two teenagers with us and Jael, Kathy and Moana kept them busy everyday by teaching them traditional ways of living, eating and gathering food (reef fishing & gathering fruit). The villas are modern, exceptionally clean and have everything you need. The tariff is extremely reasonable considering the extra services like airport transfers and scooters including lessons. They even let us use their truck as we had children. Abera's is a much better option than staying in a standard hotel room. Each villa has its own kitchen which is great. We have travelled all around the world, stayed in first class accommodation at times and Abera's is the best of them all. You will not be sorry if you choose to stay there. We'll be coming back here next year for sure!

FANTASTIC!! It was great to spend a week with Jael, Kathy and the family. The place looks great, and for winter, it was amazing weather! Was great to make use of the scooter top explore. And the Canoe, snorkelling gear,. The pool was great on the hotter days, and having the BBQ at out villa door was so handy! A big word of advice to anyone going to stay here. Make sure you get the breakfast! Soo YUM!! and variety of goodies. OMG! and it lasts ! talk about value for money! $25 for 2 people - delivered to your Villa door each morning. And the basket is likely to last yo all day - or longer! Stunning sunset views, beach was great. Cannot fault it. Even out last night there, poured with rain. Did no dampen our tri[p at all. We know they need the water! and we enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of rain :) Hey Kiwi's!! Before more countries can go.. you must check out Abera's Aitutaki Villas. They got GREAT Deals on at mo to. Like Nike says.. "Just do it!"
