This place offers a few cozy rooms with AC. the Superior rooms offer a nice seaview. Most of the rooms have a nice little balconyfor 2. The breakfast is good and the hosts are nice people. Attention: To and from the historic center you must climb / descend 200 steps.

This hotel cancelled our booking, claiming the credit card, which I have on booking.com is invalid. It isn't and it has more than enough funds. When I got the email from Booking. com to say my card had been cited as invalid, I was surprised, but I went on the system to check that all was correct. It was. I then double checked by re-entering the information, so the card now appears twice on the system. I then contacted the property and let them know to try again. Despite Booking.com giving me 24 hours, less than 10 hours later the hotel cancelled our booking. They didn't reply to my email either. I suspect that as our booking was for one night only, they didn't want to take it as they had the chance of a longer booking, but how unscrupulous. Having read other reviews on here, I am glad now that I am not going to this hotel, if this is how they operate. I will find a better property now for our stay in Napflio.

I like this kind of place, not lavish but charming, not perfect but pleasant : bottom line you want to stay more or to go back. This pension is perfectly located in the old city, the room have all facilities and th breakfast on the terrace is good and give you the opportunity to discuss with clients or owners. The owners are two helpful and cool brothers. Trying to find this place by car with GPS or Google map is a challenge but gives you a tremendous opportunity to visit the old city and its narrow historical streets... For my next trip in Nafplio, I will try to go back in this very good place!

This pension is a 5 minute walk to town (with steps) so it’s very convenient. It is clean, comfortable and breakfasts are great. Owners were very kind and nice, But if you ask for a double with a sea view, just know that there are a few rooms that could fit that description. Our room on the top floor with the side balcony facing the sea was quite small (not the large one shown on the site). The listing says that it is 30 m2, which is hard to believe. The bathroom was not large, either, but it did have a hand held shower that you could put in a holder above your head. The problem here is that it then sprayed water under the glass enclosure, so it was impossible to take a shower without finding a large puddle of water outside of the tub when you were finished. The one thing I really didn’t like was the hose hair dryer attached to the wall which didn’t heat up and didn’t blow enough air. I haven’t seen one of these in many years. I think both things can be fixed. And if you go, here are directions to parking....drive towards the Acronafplio castle. As you drive up you will come to a now defunct hotel. Park there!! You’ll see a paved path going through an arch....that is the pathway to the pension. Some very small cars with mirrors folded in, may get though ( you’ll, have to back out), but it’s best to walk the path. Pension is on the left. I asked for directions before we got there, but communication in English was not easy.

The hotel rooms verge on the luxury level. Beautifully decorated with large bathrooms. Breakfast was superb and the views spectacular. The hotel is located 6' uphill from the main square in old town Nafplio. It is also another 6' walk to the nearest beach bar on the other side of Acronafplia. Ask to feed Vangelis the friendly parrot who lives at the back of the hotel. Just a small warning that the location is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties or families with baby gear due to the extra steps to/from the main square.
