Stayed at Hotel Route Inn Grand Asahikawa Ekimae for two nights( Extended the second night after the first night experience). The hotel is quite new and located just opposite to the JR station.

the Hotel is very close to JR station so I think you can take JR from airport with train transfer at Sapporo station since I went there from Sapporo JR straight. Not sure any day tours around the place can book directly... More
the Hotel is very close to JR station so I think you can take JR from airport with train transfer at Sapporo station since I went there from Sapporo JR straight. Not sure any day tours around the place can book directly from hotel, however you can check with Tourist Information center in the JR station & even book the tour there.
