This was my third time staying at this resort in the last 5 years, this last stay was disappointing to say the least. My family of 17 booked 9 rooms for a 7 day stay, I recommended this resort due to great prior experiences, but this stay was not like past vacations. Several members of the family got sick from the sub par buffet food, others had issues with their rooms which were never resolved. I personally stayed in a Junior Suite which had a toilet that ran constantly, a sink that leaked all over the floor and air conditioning that didn't cool. I complained on three separate occasions, each time I was told someone would be there to take care of the issues, they were never resolved. At the buffet - I received coffee cups with lipstick stains on 3 occasions, disgusting and concerning to say the least. Service was horrible, had to share napkins and silverware with others at the table because service was nonexistent. I can go on and on about the buffet, but I will spare you all the details. Room service was so inconsistent - some days no towels, others no mini bar replenishment, not even water!! Swim up bar was closed due to COVID yet no social distancing was enforced, so I'm not sure why they would close this part of the pool. I found used plastic cups , pieces of sharp tile and other debris at the bottom of the pool daily. What happened to this resort? I understand the loss of revenue due to COVID, and the need for cutbacks, but WOW! To say I was disappointed in this stay would be an understatement, I will not be back!…
The property is large enough to make you not feel confined but small enough to be quaint. VERY clean. Food was plentiful and delicious. The pools are remarkably nice. The staff is friendly. The amenities are outstanding and the entertainment options are vast. The COVID19 restrictions are still in place and annoying but it is a government requirement. A true paradise. We will 100% go back here!
When you go on vacation you expect to have the best experience from start to end, dont get me wrong the hotel was beautiful and the food was delicious, but some employees did not have the right attitude or energy that you would expect or hope to see. One small gesture can make or break your day.
Room and grounds were nice and clean but staff were not welcoming. Staff were rude everywhere we went around the resort. Service in restaurants was terrible, we waited an hour to get asked what we wanted to drink and when food was brought out it was cold. They have a lot of fun activities that cost a lot of money for an all inclusive hotel. They don't have coffee in the morning, the only good place to get an espresso opened until 4:00 pm. Room service is not included and it cost money you'll end up paying $8.00 us dollars for a hot dog.
We had an amazing stay. There is more than enough things to keep our kids busy. The food was great and the rooms were nice. If you gets chance to take an excursion, I definitely recommend doing one of the catamaran tours. So much fun had by all! A lot of people have complained about the service and Covid testing. We were treated with the upmost respect by everyone. And Covid testing was a breeze. There are two difference locations within the resort where you could get tested (one was $25 and on the second level, the second location is $35 and on the bottom level). We chose the bottom level and only had to wait 10 minutes in line.
