I don’t like writing reviews like this but feel the need to warn. You should not stay here. We visited for a wedding. Everyone was disappointed. Our mold had horrible mold- our family got very very sick. The air conditioner broke several times and the front desk was rude about getting it fixed. There was obvious mold in the vents. The pools were very dirty- my husband got a bad ear infection. My friend got a skin infection. They do not do a good job cleaning the tables at dinner- food everywhere from previous patrons. Servers are rude. Bartenders are rude. They are tired and though it is all inclusive you are expected to tip a LOT. I couldn’t get anyone to give me information on ROCK OM. This was the same with many advertised features- they simply don’t exist once you get there. All of the restaurants on the beach were torn apart by FIONA. Not their fault but the price was the same. When you buy things they don’t ask you what currency but select local which is more expensive. Again, rude staff in the stores. We travel a lot. We get it when we go to a country like DR, but this was honestly one of the worst experiences we have ever had. Won’t be back to hard rock anywhere ever. Won’t be back to DR. Unfortunate. TLDR; mold made us very very sick and everyone is rude and mean

Hotel's Favorite
The Hard Rock In Punta Cana is by far our favorite vacation destination. This facility is spotless, beautiful and a true non-stop ride...I need a vacation from my vacation. The list of the to-do's is a mile long and everyone is exceptionally nice and engaging. My diet was wrecked from all of the delicious foods and the variety of restaurants. This is the true WOW factor. You can't walk 50 feet without some type of food offerings, even at the pool, shopping mall or even outside the casino. We can't wait to go back at Christmas for another visit.

I feel like if you have a lot of people spending lots of money to come to your place, You will keep it up-to-date And clean but that is not the case here. Good thing yall have a few restaurants because half of them were closed during our stay also. Not sure if I want to come back for the price. really could have just stayed at a regular 3 star hotel and partied with the locals.

A group of 6 adults were here for 10 days and had a wonderful time. Our personal assistants/butlers Yarol, Heriberto and Carlos went above and beyond. From the fantastic rooms to the dinner reservations and pool chairs they did a great job and were fun to be around. They were very attentive and communication was excellent. They got us To Go lunches to take to the airport and helped correct our hotel bill. One of the couples were booted off their flight and the butlers helped them get back to the hotel, arrange accommodations and transported them back to the airport the following day. The resort is filled with great employees - all are friendly and willing to help with whatever you need. Wait staff at the Members Pool and some of the restaurants was not as good as usual; likely to due to the same staffing problems that exist everywhere. Ipanema for breakfast was delicious and had alot of variety. Toro has the best dinner overall, and the best meat hands down. Ipanema was good but the meat was inconsistent; one piece would be tender and the next was not. Ciao was good, at times, but not consistent quality. Zen was our least favorite: the food was very salty and the food all tasted the same. I wish they had an a la carte menu instead of teppanyaki only, as they do at Hard Rock Los Cabos; that way you get more variety. I miss Pizzeto and being able to get a quick pizza. The food carts in the Lobby were very good. The entire resort is very clean and the guest rooms are cleaned well and usually early in the day. The public restrooms and common areas are also well maintained. Room service was wonderful to deal with and were always prompt and the food was hot. We love HRPC and look forward to our next visit.

This is the model center for Hard Rock resorts and should be in prestine condition but it is not. It is not welcoming at all. The buildind and rooms are terrible in it condition. No local dishes to eat.

My past visit to this location was one of the best experiences of my life. I boasted about the experience to everyone that listened. My recent visit was not the same. If you're not a legendary member you're pretty much overlooked. The majority of the provided trams used to maneuver you around the resort was allocated for legendary members which meant either walk or wait forever for another tram. Some of the pools were closed due to storm damage but the party continued at the members private pool. I totally understand the members are timeshare owners but Hard Rock's moto used to be they treat EVERYONE like Rock Stars but that is no longer the case. At this time I would not recommend booking this location unless you become a member.

Hurricane Fiona hit first night of our 5 night stay. Hotel staff did above and beyond to keep us supplied with drinking water and available food in restaurants and drinks in bars. Power stayed on thanks to generators, water and wifi were pretty much constant, satellite tv was on and off which is understandable. After 3 plus days of hurricane weather staff and contractors started huge cleanup, clearing debris and cleaning pools. Yeah a couple restaurants near the beach had to close, and some of the rooms got some water but we still enjoyed our visit very much. Only real disappointment was the Casino. It’s really under utilized, no attention paid to the many NFL fans hoping to watch games on Sunday,. They really miss the opportunity to have a lot of guests enjoy a nice venue and bet on the games. Paid 8 dollars for a beer(all inclusive?) and asked if a couple tv’s could be turned on NFL games, nobody seemed to know how to change the channel. Really a wasted space that not many people used.

Please be aware the staff working at the transportation/shuttle from the airport to the resort is no help at all. Please be advised that there will be no “rockstar” treatment on arrival. I was waiting for almost 1 hour before they would let me on the shuttle. It was late it & dark outside we were the only two (was there with my wife for our first year anniversary). The employee demanded $40USD cash but my confirmation clearly stated that transportation was included in our package so I refused to pay. After leaving us at the desk for almost a hour I went to go look for him by the taxi stands found him brought him back inside and demanded to be let on the shuttle; at the end I agreed to pay the $40 USD but I will NOT give him the cash he can charge it to my room. He was so disappointed I just told him I never travel with cash as I’m going to an all Inclusive what do I need cash for? Of course I had some money but I had a gut feeling I was being scammed. So after a 26 hour delayed flight that shorted our trip and a whole hour of frustration we finally got to the resort just to wait in line for another hour to get checked in because they had no system in place everyone was just budding each other. That resort is way too big I will never go back. You are better off going to a smaller resort the service will be 100times better. Happy travels!

The Hotel it self was bautiful. The room looked amazing, with a great view, amazing jacuzzi. Although there was mosquitos inside of our room constantly. The restaurants were decent except the Italian one. The food was not good at all. My concern was at the front desk the moment of check out. Our check out date was the 19th which it was the morning after Hurricane Fionna had just past through us. We called the night before and spoke to someone at the front desk to ask if they could extend the days of our reservation due to our flight being cancelled. They asked us to go to the front desk in the morning. We arrive at the front desk at 7:00am but system was down. We came back every hour until noon, as they told us to do so since they couldn't give us an answer. Finally at noon, they kicked us out of the hotel saying we couldn't stay because the hotel was full and they had no room to placed us. They didn't give us any options, not even a late check out. They said we needed to leave the hotel because our room was already booked. The airport was closed, it was impossible to be booked, this was the morning after a hurricane and this people kicked us out of the hotel not caring for anything else but business. There were seven people in our group including two elders. I was so looking forward to this trip since i haven't been to the Dominican Republic since 1991. I will never go back. Very sad experience in one of the most reputable US hotels.
