Just a quiet clean room

Its not fancy, and for 1200 pesos, I didn’t expect much. Air conditioning and hot water shower was a bonus. And the room was very clean. Just three small rooms in a row, facing the beach (marine sanctuary) and garden. Each room has a little porch, one double bed, and an extra mattress under the bed in case you want to try and squeeze a third person on to the floor of the room. There is a community kitchen off the side of the garden, in case you want to cook or store things in the fridge, along with free drinking water. A few hammocks are also secured to the coco trees. Enrico and his family were a joy to meet, and so very welcoming. He has motorbikes to rent if you choose, and charged me well below the going rate. Great location, with lots of restaurants. If you plan to spend your time exploring Siquijor, and not lounging in your room, this place is probably just fine, and clean and basic.

Descripción engañosa

Hicimos la reserva con la descripción: habitación doble de luxe 🛏️🛏️ para 3 personas, habitación con bañera, balcón y ya..., pues al llegar al hostal..., de doble de luxe no tenía nada, 1 🛏️ y un colchón de 3xm debajo de la 🛏 que había..., el baño típico filipino sin bañera..., en fin un engaño, nada de luxe, nada de dos camas..., pueden ver las fotos, colchón debajo de la cama incluido. Encima el dueño Enrico, no dice nada mientras le pedíamos explicaciones y a los diez minutos de estar buscando nosotros otra solución para marcharnos, él tan fresco coge unas cosas y se va en su moto dejándonos allí sin más, ni una palabra..,verguenza para ser filipino con la buena gente que hay aquí..., tres días durmiendo en el suelo por 75€ las 3 noches...,ahi lo dejo...

Mejor de lo que parece.

Tiene habitación con aire acondicionado y una terracita que sale a un pequeño jardín. Solo hay dos huéspedes mas con lo que se está muy tranquilo. Pasado este jardín está la playa donde está el Maite santuario marino, donde se puede hacer snorkel como en el jardín de casa. Ah! También tiene una pequeña cocina común, con lo que te puedes preparar tu comida. La atención del propietario es excelente y te ayuda en todo.
