My family loved the newest hotel in Gensan. Great place to stay it feels like we are in 5 star hotel. We love the fresh scent upon entering the hotel smells really new. Before I booked a rooms, I requested for a showroom and I was assisted by Casie from Reception. She answered all my questions well and she’s good in communicating with her guests. We book 3 rooms and room is spacious. We just noticed that the food service in the restaurant is slow but they’re very friendly as well. I think the food should be enhanced more.

4/5 stars for improvement. The hotel is pet friendly. Dont forget to Bring the vax card of your pet, which we're not informed buti na lng always dala namin. They asked for downpayment upon arrival of 5000.00 and additional 1000.00 for disinfectant fee if you have pet only. They will return the 5k upon check out..These were in addition to our room rate.

Nonetheless, Staffs were very considerable. When we called for reservation we were informed that we're getting the promo rate but when we arrived in the hotel, we were told that we cannot avail the promo rate because may pet.. But they gave consideration since yong staff naman nila nagkamali.

The room was clean and the staffs are really nice. Overall, nice!!

Our second time staying here and what I can say from the moment you enter the lobby there’s a good welcoming smell! Makes you want to stay at the lobby while waiting. Room is clean and big for 3 adults staying but we had some requests please give some breakfast coupons to guest to avoid confusion upon coming to the restaurant for breakfast, it happened to us but staff are very responsive to the situation so its okay, can be better if we had breakfast coupons with us. I made a reservation for wife and daughter to catch with them cause haven’t vacation with. I book Morror Suite 1 of the room of the Hotel . I book thru Expedia .When nearing the date I emailed if they can big favor if can set up 24 pieces of red roses, I received email at 4 day and inform me yes can with service charge I emailed them back to thank them and how can I pay and confirmation.I email 4 times no one respond from them, I got freak out cause surprise and this a big think on my plan.Finally check them in and my called with daughter for surprise flower and message for them also they expecting not a grand suite , they very beautiful and clean you still can smell is brand new.
Going back we went to the Front Desk and the one who check them in that even a welcome the worst is they processing us there’s a guy just butt in front and even say anything waiter from the Restaurant he went and post charges with Front Desk agent , the agent did first the waiter and agent haven’t say anything and on the back of the Front all paperwork this is not safety especially all the information of guest, handed the key and Bell pick all our luggage very nicely , during the night my wife want to use the bathtub but she suddenly seen water coming out from tub so my went out and call Engineering he just wipe the water so wife ask if already alright to use said yes so my continued but water leaking so informed my family don’t use the tub.So non of them enjoy to use the tub . When all done showered they feel really cold so called Engineering to set temperature to higher cause too cold we watching how doing so we how operate but he haven’t know how to set up. Engineering just left. We went for dinner. When we come the room was very cold .Call Engineering cause our refrigerators doesn’t work and

General Santos , tuna capital of the Philippines has finally come up with hotels that can accommodate guests both locally and from abroad with the Grand Summit Hotel in fold. Though the city has had in recent past, hotels that did the same but now it's got a little bit more to offer . You have a casino connected to the hotel, a decent lobby cafe with a small bar where you can unwind after a long day or a long flight for that matter. It's not the classiest of hotels compared to it's neighboring Davao City but if there's one thing Grand Summit can offer . It's the very accommodating staff from the duty manager down to housekeeping . Lastly if I may recommend maybe buffet breakfast can be improved together with the other items on the menu and you might want to consider lowering just a tad your room rates. To more nights with grand summit in the future... Cheers!

Weddings are one of the most unforgettable milestone for any couple as it celebrates the beginning of another chapter of their lives.

Every couple who wishes to get married always makes sure to have a wonderful wedding where the band plays romantic songs, the food caters the appetite of the guests, the decoration brings more magic to the love being celebrated, the gowns and the suits must be very presentable and of course the couple makes sure to host their wedding somewhere they can accommodate all the guests in the most comfortable state they could be. Grand Summit made it possible for us.

To be honest, it was a big risk for us choosing Grand Summit as our reception place because our wedding will be the first ever big event that they will be accepting.
We were afraid of possible mistakes or errors during the program that could happen.

But, the staff were all accommodating and gave us enough assurance that they can meet everything that we asked for and they didn’t disappoint. From the pre-wedding preparation which included the food tasting, occular, planning down to the actual wedding it seemed like we weren’t the first big event at all because they handled it well and with grace. Not to mention the very elegant and relaxing room facilities they have, my husband and I, including our families and friends sure had a blast in our stay.

We personally met Sir Jessie Chua, Maam Rhea, Sir Jun, Sir Chris, Maam Aj, the chefs, engineer & all other staffs. Their efforts are really commendable. We appreciate them so much!

Thank you, Grand Summit for helping us achieve our dream wedding! Hoping to see more love stories being celebrated in your home!

I’m very happy in an experience that surpassed all my expectations. The warmth greet by the staff made our group feel not just welcome, but truly at home. Their dedication to guest safety, particularly the engineer’s meticulous attention to safety protocols, was commendable and reassuring.

The hotel itself was a stunning display of modern architecture. From the three expansive ballrooms to the playroom for children, serene pool, well-equipped gym, and the inviting Cafe Summit, we’re every corner spoke of luxury and comfort. The pool became the heart of joy and laughter among my friends and classmates.

The room was a haven of relaxation, spacious and well-appointed. The plush bed promised and delivered a peaceful night’s sleep, while the panoramic views from the window, whether of the cityscape or serene landscapes, were breathtaking. The bathroom, with its modern amenities and pristine cleanliness, was a sanctuary after a long day, especially with the rejuvenating hot shower.

Our socialization night was enchanting, offering a fine dining experience that was a first for many of us. Each course was a delectable delight. The morning breakfast buffet at Cafe Summit was a gastronomic delight, with diverse and delicious options.

First let me say that it was important for me and my Fiancé to find a hotel that would accept us as a gay couple, that would be able to host our wedding at a reasonable price, who were professional, polite, had a pool and gym and an accommodating event planner. The Grant Summit Gensan exceeded our expectation. As soon as we arrived everyone greeted us with a smile. They even gave us free orange juice as we were checking in. We are not drinkers so that was so kind of them. Their rooms were immaculate and we never felt like we didn't belong there. AJ the event planner stayed in touch with us for months and met our every need. The food was very tasty. When we go back to Gensan we will definitely stay at the Grand Summit hotel!!! Impeccable service.

Staff are very friendly and go above and beyond. The front desk staff are helpful and prompt. They were able to help me weigh my luggage prior to flying out to make sure I was not overweight. Dhan went above and beyond in retrieving the headphones I had left behind the day prior. The lobby, hallways, and room are clean. The in-hotel spa service offers massage service in the spa downstairs as well as in-room for a small surcharge - definitely made it a more convenient and relaxing experience.
