Great boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Rooms are clean and cozy. The beds are Amazing and very comfortable. There is a roof top bar at the hotel, E-bar, that has great views and a nice place to chill and have drinks. There is also a cafe and restaurant on the ground floor, Crema, that has really good food, especially the pastries. Delicious coffee and biscotti!!! Highly recommend people to stay here if you are visiting Cagayan de Oro!

Hi Anabel 1, Thank you for taking the time to post a review. Our objective at The Pacifico is to make your stay as relaxing as possible and create a home away from home atmosphere. We welcome your reviews to ensure we deliver on our promise. We are glad you enjoyed the breakfast, the rooms, the beds, the service and friendliness of the staff. We always aim to put the guest first. Thank you for mentioning that you were unaffected by the noise. We constantly endeavour to work on noise minimisation starting with three layers of glass, a fully padded balcony door and working with the city officials to minimise street traffic and pedestrian noise. This goes to show our efforts are delivering results. It was a pleasure having served you and we do hope to see you again. Thank you again for your patronage.

The Pacifico Hotel provides personalized service and stylish ambiance . The hotel has stylish rooms featuring modern day amenities that obviously addresses the needs of a traveler. Troom is spacious with minimalist design. It enhances one's stay with a TV with cable, mini bar, complimentary WiFi internet, in room safe, executive desk, tea and coffee making facilities. Request a room in higher floors, I can imagine that noise from the street can become an issue in the rooms in the lower floors.

The shower and comfort room mirrors the generous floor and area space the room has. It is roomy and designed with muted colours light to the eyes. You will find a full length wall mirror fronting the toilet with bidet. They also have hot & cold shower but during our stay the water pressure was inconsistent.

Overall our stay at The Pacifico Hotel was pleasant. The location may not be the best if you're visiting the city to shop and dine. There are some hotels better located elsewhere in the city. You might also find this a bit expensive for a hotel. the price range is 10USD shy from top hotels in the city. I will however recommend this for travelers who wants comfort and no fuss hotel stay. This is good for business travel, expats coming home for a vacation and families who loves to stay in spacious rooms.

We are in Cagayan de Oro every 4 to 8 weeks for now more than 8 years. We usually stay 1 to 5 nights. This time we chose the Pacifico Boutique Hotel for the first but not the last time. Front office staff was cheerful and we really felt welcome.
The room was as shown in the photos. It was clean, functional and with enough space to feel well. The bathroom's style is funny with all the mirrors and trans-lucid glass. The shower was absolutely perfect: strong water pressure with water from fresh to almost boiling.
Add a little bit of decoration and the room will be absolutely perfect.
The two restaurants on the other hand were unfortunately much below average. The E-Bar on the top of the building could be a real highlight with the view over the city and the hills. We enjoyed watching the thunderstorms around the city. The air was fresh and above the city's smoke. The wooden deck should be repaired and the water pump installation should be hidden behind something like blinds. The food was cheap and just eatable. The waiter was extremely timid and it seemed that he wasn't very happy that day of our visit.
Breakfast is included in the reasonable room price. So I do not complain. But compared with what we got in hotels nearby, it was just a joke. The coffee was good! But a little bit rice, a micro-sausage and one small fried egg couldn't make us happy.
I hope this critics motivate the hotel owner to do small but essential improvements in the restaurants because we'll come back again.

Stayed in the hotel overnight after being in the province for three days and two nights. The staff was very professional and courteous upon check in. They ensured we made our choices for the following days breakfast. Room was new, trendy, and clean. Wifi and choice of channels was good. Only thing that was lacking was temperature of water,it was lukewarm at best. Breakfast the next morning was good, included coffee or tea and fruit. I would stay again in the future but I would ask about the water temperature.

Don't expect to get what you paid for. The price you will pay for their room is not worth it. Spacious room but No breakfast included and renovation is on going. Creepy because you cannot see any check in guest in their hotel and there's no guard in the lobby. If you cannot check out by 12nn exactly, you will pay half the price of the room!

Pros: hotel staff is nice but not helpful and attentive. Location is near a coin operated laundry shop. A small restaurant near the hotel.

decided to spend the weekend with my family in Cagayan de Oro to experience white water rafting. I saw their summer special for Php 7200+ for two. Amazing deal. Love this Hotel. The rooms are big and the beds are sooooooo comfortable. Love the bamboo silk sheets as well. I wish they would open EBAR, their rooftop bar, earlier though. Will definitely come back :) :)

Stayed here for a business trip and it was very terrible.

1. Stayed at the 6F and it was below the restobar - The music and live band from the rooftop were very loud and noisy. The room wasn't soundproof so you really can here all the noise. It was very disappointing especially when you're tired and need to rest.

2. Hotel staff weren't attentive - requested and followed up for utensils to be delivered in our room but NEVER arrived

3. We were informed that breakfast will be served from 8AM-10AM. But guess what - it arrived at 10AM

Stayed here for 1 night. I didn't expect that our room would be so stylish. I love their spacious rooms and bathrooms! The only thing that made me subtract 1 star is that they don't offer breakfast of some sort.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a deluxe room last December 2015.The hotel is clean , staffs are friendly, but at first day we had a difficult time cus most tricycle / taxi drivers didn't know the hotel yet since its new but all went good. The food are just average but what I love is their E-Bar at the rooftop , it's just cool having drinks , quite romantic anyway :) Definitely gonna stay there again.

Do you have parking space?
Answer from Matthew M

There are 2 main shopping areas in CDO. Centrio which is just 5 min away from the hotel by tricycle or jeepney and SM mall which is about 15 min away. For hotel shuttle I had some friends pick me up so I do not know. But a ride should only be about 200php.
