My experience at the hotel during my stay for four nights was pretty cool 'cause of having a wide-screen tv,and an air-condition that I can set according to my chosen coolness..I really had a comfortable sleep though I just had a little time everytime I arrived at the hotel after facilitating a very important event.Their front desks 'attendants' were very accommodating and also their 'lobby men' were always there to assist when riding on the elevator using the 'card system' as a security key to our rooms and to the dining room. I found it very handy, having a light breakfast at its dining room every morning before I finally left for my next itinerary. I wish I could stay there again in my next travel in cdo and have a pretty good time..

Stayed here for 1 night. The hotel is new and strategically located near d city hall, centrio, hospital. Getting a taxi, motorella and jeepney is not a problem.
Front desk - efficient and knows her job around.
Rooms - got a solo room at a reasonable price 598. The room is clean but the cr is very small although clean. Only 1 pillow is provided for d room.
I had a very early flight and my breakfast was converted to a chicken sandwich. There is a 24 hr security guard on duty..

If you arrived late in the evening at the CDO airport and looking for a place to sleep, then you can consider Marianne suites. Stayed in a single room, small but comfortable. We left early morning the following day so its ok.

The company booked me and my colleague for a 2 night stay for business. When we arrived, the reservist was confused if we we have a twin room or separate room reservation (should be 2 separate twin rooms).

They had us accommodated separately at the 5th floor with a small room with single beds. Immediately notice allot of cosmetic issues.

1. Some lights are busted.
2. Broken tile pieces at the bathroom.
3. Stained mirrors
4. Obviously uncleaned bathroom glass partitions.
5. No foot towels
6. Water is yellowish you think it was Kool-Aid and it smell rusty too.
7. NO INTERNET
8. NO HOT SHOWER

When confronted over these issues, the office desk officer explained they have some issued with their internet service provider and that their water is pumped directly from the deep well.

My colleague ask them if the are sure that this is the accommodation reserved for us. To which they surely responded YES.

Around 9 PM, when we are fast asleep, a hotel worker started knocking on our doors to relocate us to a better room because....(get this)..they made a mistake with the booking.

I transferred but my colleague did not because he is too tired to transfer.

There are other better hotels in CDO but please...not this.

Its pretty new, we stayed for days. What I like about it is its near Ayala Mall, just take motorela (6pesos) room is clean comfortable bed but We don't like the see through bathroom glass not our thing..all through out our stay no hot shower even if it says there is (solar panel maybe) and flickering red light is definitely a NO NO and even if we want to transfer to other rooms it will still be the same according to housekeeping. Bonus s their staff are very accommodating friendly.Free breakfast on the top floor which was OK set filipino food.
WIFI is the best all through out the hotel with elevator so its convenient .. over all its good for those people who budget are on a budget

This is just a new hotel in CDO as of the end of Feb 2014. The place is very clean and nice. The staff is very accommodating and there is a 24 hr guard service. A single room is only P598 it is very small, but still okay. A standard room is P1150. Bathroom is a good size with good water pressure and hot water at both the shower and sink. Good WiFi and nice size TVs. My room was on the third floor and there is quite a bit of street noise during the day, but it is quiet at night. It is about a 20-30 minute walk to either Centrio mall or the divisoria and there is a lot of public transportation in the area. They do have off street parking. I arrived early, but they still let me go ahead and check in. Since it is a new place they are still working out a few kinks, but it is okay and I think you will enjoy your stay here. I was drop-off by a van from Laguindingan Airport directly to Centrio which is within walking distance only from Marianne Suites. You can also ride a motorela from there to the hotel with just P7.00 fare. Arriving at Marriane, I wonder why the guard asked me if I am a guest fromthe hotel. I just answered, I will be and I'll have yet to check-in. Then he opened the main entrance glass dooor. The girl at the reception is accommodating. Check-in is a breeze after photocopying for my I.D. and filling-out the form. She asked me for a P200.00 refundable key card deposit and off she went with me to show me up my room.
The room is cute, small but functional. All are new and clean except for the floor that is dusty. I caled up the reception to ask housekeeping to sweep the floor. Then when I am opened the bathroom, a strange smell welcomes me. I saw the water in the bowl yellowish in colore. So I thought, the smell is from a urine which was left unflush. I flush-out but tuhe water remain yellow and the smell is still there. So, I guess it is somewhat related to piping. Everytime I enter the bathroom, there is this wierd smell. So annoying. Water from the shower is also yellowish and tasted a bit bitter, different from water in the faucet. The TV was already on when I entered the room. I tried to change the TV channel but I can not. I called the reception and she sent someone to fix it. The first guy was not able to fix. He called another room boy to help him. They were 2 guys in my room fixing the TV channel and they tried 5 remote control before they were able to fix it. Inconvenient for a guest who just arrived from long hrs. travel and already wanted to relax right away.
Though, pillow and bed is comfortable, A/C works well, I was not able to sleep for 2 nights. There is this blinking light installed at the ceiling just so above the bed. During my first night, at about 2 AM, shower suddenly opened. Perhaps of the so much pressure. I woke me up and I was not able to get to sleep back. On my secend night, at again about 2 AM, sudden block-out. All went off and it took time before the power generator started working. Then when I was about to again fall asleep, TV suddenly opened. Plus, the hotel has a bar at the 6 floor. Disco every Friday night and live band every Thursday bother those light sleepers. This hotel is not for them.

I have to be fair in evaluating thishotel since it just opened last February 28. The hotel looks promising but it needs to improve some things to make it shine. But first, the positive notes:

1. Nice location - walking distance or one motorela (tricycle) ride to Centrio Ayala Mall
2. Courteous staff - polite and accommodating
3. Clean and quiet space
4. Cheap rates - starts at P598 per night

However, there are some things that needs improvement:

1. Small rooms, especially the bathroom. You can not completely open the bathroom door since it hits the end of the toilet bowl
2. No extra pillows - only one pillow on the bed
3. No extra towels. Normally hotels put at least 2 towels in the bathroom
4. No closet and hanger
5. Hot shower doesn't work (not sure if it has hot shower at all)
6. Only one small soap in the bathroom. So if you didn't bring any soap you may just have to use your hand soap as your body soap.
7. Small, or should I say tiny lavatory. You will definitely wet the bathroom floor by just washing your face.

For budget travellers who are not so picky, I think these are acceptable. As of the moment, the hotel only serves breakfast so you have to go to the nearest mall for lunch and dinner. No room service too.

Unfriendly staff! No considerations for breakfast when late for even 7 minutes! No hot water even at daytime! Baby Cockroaches roam at the bathroom. Though guards are polite.. i am not so happy with my overnight stay with family. Might not be coming back here. Sad...
