Housekeepinh did not clean our room after advising to do so. We’re so tired when we got back and we’re told to wait for a few minutes for the room to be clean up. After like 15 minutes, there’s still no housekeeping so i went down and talk to front desk only to be told that the housekeeping assigned to our room was taking her lunch and we still need to wait longer. That sucks!

On the other hand, the lapses of our team is not with in our brand standards and it is unfortunate that your review reflects a bad service that is not our promise to our beloved guests like you. Miss Gladys, checking in our system you have stayed with us for a night and check out on the next day. For our overnight staying guests they usually do not ask for a make-up-room. We are very sorry that you were told that the housekeeping assigned was on lunch break when you needed assistance but with the short time you stayed with us, why do you need your room to be cleaned? I have asked because It worries the team that there would be something wrong of your room that needs prompt attention which you have not mentioned in your review. The room was perfect.Clean, comfy bed but we booked the wrong room.It has two bed hahahahah. One thinf I dont like it is they dont give us complimentary water inside the room.We have to go downstairs ask for water and even pay for the cups

strategic location but elevator is not working. hand sanitizer dispenser is not working and the guard is not thoroughly checking who are coming in the hotel. should have provided air purifier in the lobby. the temperature in the lobby is very hot and humid.

I enjoyed my stay in Red Planet. It is very accessble since it is located in the city center of CDO. The room rates are reasonable as well. Staffs are friendly. Though you have to go downstairs to have some hot water for the coffee plus you have to pay an extra charge for the disposable cups.

You need to pay early check in and late check out. No consideration even if you have a baby with you otherwise if you extend time on your stay you will pay full. Bathroom soap dispenser is broken, liquid soap spilled on the floor might cause accident.

Staying at Red planet for two days was a pleasant one. What I liked mist was the cleanliness of the room. What I don't liked was there were no complimentary tooth paste, tooth brush and a bottled water at least 1.

The location is great. Bed and pillows are good. Aircon is working fine. With working hot shower and hair blow dryer. You can ask refill for toiletries from daily rounds of utility personnel. Best value for food at restaurant at ground floor of Redplanet.

Had to stay overnight in CDO. I've stayed in Red Planet Cebu so it wasn't a hard to decide if we stay in RP CDO or not because we know the quality of the service and the hotel itself. What we love the most is how the staff is friendly and efficient. The room is super clean, you can smell the cleanliness jud! One thing RP CDO can improve on is adding soap in the bathroom and have the shower head fixed. Shower is working great, the water pressure is good however, the shower hear needs a little bit fixing. Maka gwapa sa selfie ang lighting sa room. 😁

We have stayed at this property many times and enjoy its location for the shopping malls nearby. A very friendly and attentive staff! The physical condition of the property itself has deteriorated over time, especially regarding the rooms. On this last occasion, water was freely leaking from the faucet, and drained slowly. In the shower stall were obvious signs of black mold and the shelf for toiletries had been removed. There was no soap in the dispenser. Towels were old and grey. Internet signal was intermittent. On the last 3 occasions, one of the two elevators was out of order. We will continue to support this hotel, however, for its value, staff and great location. Hopefully management will resolve these housekeeping issues so that guests will be entirely satisfied with their stays.

When searching for a hotel in CDO, I found many mixed reviews on most properties. You know what you are getting with this brand and this property fits the RP mold and template. It's simple really...EVERYTHING WORKS. So if in doubt stick with this brand if unsure.
The restaurant that is attached is a twist of something different also. See my review on that Centro 1850.
SM is right next door and so are many other malls and the lifestyle district close by.
It seems like the GM reads these reviews, so could I politely ask that the bidet hose in # 309 be shortened as it is about 2 meters long and is like a snake in the bathroom lol
I just wish RP could do the complimentary two bottles of water even just for first night as I cant be bothered going looking for water after travelling. I would even be happier to pay more for it. I'm not the first to mention it. Perhaps a ref in the lobby with water, coke, beer etc??? For sale of course.

Downtown Cagayan de oro( where red planet is located) is about a 50 minute drive from the Airport... not including traffic
I think early check in depends on the availability of the room. And it depends also how early you check in before the hotel requires extra payment.
