frontdesk personnel not smiling. Sounds rude. Why do you oblige guest to take breakfast only at 7am to 10am, what if the guest likes to checkout before 7, or wakes up after 10am? aircon not that cool. Hopefully you change your policy. Not good at all

This hotel was our first choice (upon searching the internet/feedbacks) and we were not disappointed. We were able to check in (without advance booking) after we had lunch. We just arrived the Cagayan de Oro City downtown area coming from a trip from Camiguin. We were given a spacious room with king size bed good for the 3 of us - my wife, daughter and me for P1000 with free breakfast of 2 persons. Very accomodating and friendly staff. Though we only stayed here for 1 night because the following day we have a flight back to Cebu. Lastly very accessible to public transportation.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and we did not encounter any problem in terms of their service and accommodation. The staff are friendly, they even assisted us with our heavy luggage despite no elevator. The rooms are clean and big. They accepted our in-room food order even at late hours and the food from their cafeteria is good. I especially loved their breakfast, nothing fancy but good. The hotel is accessible to shopping places in CDO since it is located along the main road where PUJs and taxis are always available. They are keen and accommodating to guests special request, like on our 2nd day, we have an early call time to Camiguin so we requested for an early wake up call and packed breakfast, and they delivered. We were so pleased with the staff. My only concern is the lobby smells old. Probably proper ventilation or installation of ionizer will solve it. Nonetheless, I will recommend this hotel for budget trippers.

We booked a few rooms for an overnight stay in CDO for my wife and I and her family. The hotel is located in a busy part of CDO, well away from malls and very much in the 'local' part of town. The rooms were ok, it is obviously an old hotel that hasnt been renovated in a while, but it was clean and reasonable for the price.

Thanks for making my solo birthday adventure a relaxed one. Thanks to Imelda and the housekeeping guy who assisted me and granted my special request for changing my breakfast since I dont eat daing na bangus. I really loved my experience in Miami Inn. I'll recommend this place to my friends when they plan to visit CDO. See yah again... Xo

Spent 2 nights here, the hotel was ok but nothing special. Staff was friendly and room was decent in terms of cleanliness. However, we did see a cockroach (dead) in the hallways. Not that expensive for the value proposition, but I think you can find better.

We stayed here for two nights. They allowed us to check in as early as 8am since we need to go for white water rafting. STAFF: The daytime receptionist was helpful and nice. The night time lady is not friendly at all. Cleaning lady needs to be trained more. Tables and floor are quite dusty. One cockroach was running around our room on our first night. ROOMS: We got two suite rooms, each room is good for 3 pax. Rooms are big but dark, aside from lack of lighting, one room has dark red curtains and bedsheets. Need stronger light. Bathroom light is too weak. Aircon is good. Bedsheets and towels seemed clean. BREAKFAST IS FREE: Just a cup of rice, egg and spring rolls on the first day, fried porkchop on the 2nd day. Nothing special but for the rate, this can be considered a good deal esp for budget travellers like us. LOCATION: It's on a very busy street where traffic is always bad. There's a convenience store and drug store nearby which can be a plus factor. Would I recommend this one? For budget travellers, yes!

Stayed for 1 night only. It's just what you expect from a budget room. It got no flat screen TV (the available tv is the big bulky ones from your grand ma) plus it's not elevated so when watching cable tv while on bed is a hassle you don't have a good view. The bathroom is small and a bit cramped, no hot shower during my stay. The air conditioning is okay and the room is big. (No good view from its windows though) Breakfasts is a disappointment, I was served only a small portion of fried chicken with rice and egg with one cup instant coffee. But the chicken taste good! However I was able to talk personally to the owner of the inn and was satisfied with her commitment to improve their service. Good enough for a p1000 peso room.

My wife and stayed in a small room with basic amenities for 4 nights. The bathroom was way too small i could not close the door and sit on the toilet at the same time. Some staff were nice and some we not friendly at all. The breakfast changed each day and actually taste pretty good. The area is very very loud on a very busy street. We checked out early and stayed at Appletree a way better hotel on a nice beach with the most friendliest staff. I would not stay at miami inn again even on a budget.

From the pics and other reviews, this looks okay. However the location is bad like your in the outskirts of town. The breakfast is typical set meals but the AC in the room is cool. There is no table and chairs so if you want to eat you'd have to go to their cafe at the ground floor. We tried the food and surprisingly they're good (we had blue marlin, kinilaw & lemon chicken). The hotel is along a major route so transportation is of no concern. The staff is also friendly and helpful. There is a convenience store nearby and lots of sari-sari stores so that compensates for the lack of freebies (toothpaste etc). Overall, it was okay. Highly recommended if your a large group who wants to explore CDO or a family on a roadtrip.
