This is my 20th contribution to Tripadvisor so here’s what I can say about my 2-night stay with this hotel

The good:

- Location is nice, just 10-minute walk to Cogon Market/Gaisano. Public transportation is also accessible;
- Staff are friendly;
- Unlimited water refill at the lobby (just bring your own water bottle) & unlimited instant coffee at the lobby too (just bring your own mug they provided in the room);
- Unique room layout as a selling point (though w/ a downside, see below) & good-sized rooms;
- Block-out window roll-up for those non-morning persons like me;
- Nice comfortable bed sheets. Appreciate the well-made & wrinkled-free bedding & duvet;
- Modern interior design;

The bad:

- The room’s layout is that your bed’s headboard is behind the window/building perimeter or by the roadside so you would hear the cars below. The window-type airconditioner is also above your head so the AC sound may also distract you. This is the downside for that unique room layout. I’m not a light sleeper so no problem for me. To solve the noise issue, I suggest double-pane glass & split-type AC to keep the unique room layout. If you’re a light sleeper, request for the rooms at the rear & request for the 4th floor. The 4th floor rooms are also more private as it’s away from the actions of the lobby;
- The lobby is on the 3rd flr & no elevator. It maybe a challenge to bring up your luggage. I just brought a backpack so no problem for me. I’m sure though they would be able to send someone to bring up your luggage;

The can be easily improved:

- There’s a few dead black ants on my bed when I arrive. The window & window sill is a little bit dusty too. There’s also a stain on my pillowcase. The toilet bowl/water closet needs a scrub (light water stains are visible). Housekeeping needs a slight improvement but overall the room is still clean;
- provide handheld bidet at the toilet. The liquid hand soap is also concentrated so it’s not easy to dispense. Provide hair conditioner too;
- Bathroom needs tile regrouting, it’s already yellowish. This is cheap to do.
- For a more hospitable staff, I suggest that when a guest ask questions, pls just don’t answer the question. Kindly offer suggestions & options too. It’s vital for travelers like us who don’t know the city;
- The TV needs to be rechecked. Sometimes the cable didn’t work or maybe there’s a problem with the remote. It’s also the age of netflix so maybe scrap the cable tv & offer netflix instead;
- A big signage needs to be installed. Glad I looked up & found the small signage in the road corner or I could have missed it;
- There’s a wall crack in my room (the sunlight passes through it). Pls repair it, I can see it’s a wall patchwork for a previous round window so it may fall down on the sidewalk so it’s dangerous.

Conclusion:

Though it’s not perfect but I rate them still 5-star. I only got the room at 1,400+ per night (direct booking) so it’s great value for money.

What I liked about Bridge Hotel are their Scandinavian-inspired interiors. The staff are also warm and accommodating, which makes me appreciate the City of Golden Friendship more. Check-in was also hassle-free and quick. The hotel's location is convenient in the sense that restaurants, convenience stores, and public transport are all just a walking distance from it. The only inconvenience that I found when going to this hotel was the absence of an elevator. We had to carry our luggage up to the third floor through the stairs. Though, I believe they would be glad to assist you if you ask for it.

They provide free-flowing coffee at the lobby, just don't forget to bring your mug which is provided in your room.

They also provide an iMac in case you need to access the internet for some documents such as flight tickets, and other important business.

We booked the Deluxe Room which features a large double bed. The bed and duvet are comfortable, as well as the generous amount of pillows. We were able to have a good night's sleep. Free WiFi is available and they have a really good connection--we were able to play online games without lag.

Rooms are air-conditioned. A flat-screen cable TV is available, as well as mugs, hangers, and complimentary slippers. What I liked about the room is that it's well-lit and looks neat. We've check-out some nearby hotels in the area, and they look a bit haunted. (Disclaimer: this is not a sponsored post). All rooms at Bridge Hotel are non-smoking.

Toiletries are free and replenished daily. Towels are provided, and the water pressure in the bathroom was also good. The towels, however, don't smell fresh for me.

The housekeeping does a great job of cleaning up our room. There was a time that I was in a hurry, I left a bit of a mess on the bed and didn't bother to ask for a make-up room service. I was surprised to come back to a cleaned room and fixed bed. Then they just put back my stuff where I left them (on the bed). I kinda felt embarrassed because I normally tidy up before asking for any make-up room service, but a good job for the housekeeping staff.

We would definitely choose Bridge Hotel again if we would go back to the same area in CDO.

This is my second stay in the hotel.
✔️The location is very convenient.
✔️I love the room (not too small) and the mattress has enough firmness and is very comfortable to sleep on.
✔️The lobby has a modern and minimalist design that I adore.
✔️The wifi connection is great (my room was right across the front desk)
✔️Water pressure in the shower is above average.

Things they would need to improve:
1. It would be a huge help to have a chair inside the room and a decent table to work on.
2. An elevator or perhaps someone who would help you carry your stuff.
3. Staff should know what to do in case of an emergency (last month’s case - an earthquake). They just stared at me when i went outside the room. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Good location with numerous places to eat nearby. Bear in mind there are 4 flights of stairs up to the reception area. The reception staff are friendly and helpful.
My delux double room was a good size, clean, good aircon and the bed was comfortable enough (including 4 pillows). The bathroom with shower recess functioned well. A wardrobe and/or shelf storage would be a welcome addition.
Overall, good value for a 1-2 night stay.

Hotel reception is located at the 3rd floor. There is no elevator. It was very noisy as many guests where all congregating at this floor as they have tables and chairs, unlimited coffee/water and a desktop computer here/business center. What i can’t tolerate is the noise from 1900-2330. It only stopped when i messaged the front desk about the noise. But there are still noises by which i am awaken suddenly. I can not sleep soundly in this kind of situation. They could have put up signs that guests shld observe silence at this time or they could have utilized the whole floor as their lobby to serve as their meeting area. They shouldnt have rooms if they can not control their loud mouthed and drunk guests.

I was looking for an affordable hotel for my daughter who was a student at Xavier University who needed a room so she can prepare for her yearbook pictorial.

Bridge Hotel is situated in the middle of Divisoria, near restaurants and eateries and night spots. The rooms are newly renovated with nice bedding and plump pillows. Bathroom has several towels and heater. There were free toiletries as well.

Check in and out were both swift and efficient.
