Centrally located in Cagayan De Oro near key malls and establishments. Room sizes are decent. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Basic toiletries like soap and shampoo was provided but no toothbrush and toothpaste set. No hair dyer as well. Room is cleaned everyday and replenished with coffee water. Breakfast is served but I found the offerings too salty at times.

Hotel has many function rooms and seems to be favored by government offices. However, at peak operating hours like breakfast and lunch, they seemed to be understaffed.

Stayed here for 3D. 1st impression was it’s ok. Near the malls in the Limketkai area. Stayed in Room 335. On the way up, hallway leading to my room was too dark. It’s as if I was in a horror movie. Same with the room - though it was comfy enough for sleeping. Water heater isn’t working, no wifi in the room and cable tv was intermittent. Food was meh. Better to eat in the malls outside.

I enjoyed my stay at Mallberry Suites Business Hotel because of the spacious bedroom and bathroom as well as the comfortable bed and pillows. I felt relieved that I was able to relax and enjoy a good night's sleep during a work trip. The room was also complete with the usual amenities, including free toiletries, extra towels, mineral water, and coffee/tea.

Worst customer service ever!! .. checked in last night, March 19 , 2022, and plan to checkout on March 26, 2022.. The lady reception politely accepted my reservation from March 19 to 26 and offered me to pay the initial 1 night.

When I was about to settle the rest of my Bill ( morning ) . The reception told me that I was only booked till 23rd and I need to cheked out.. coz they need to prioritize online reservations. I talked to the manager and demanded an explanation.. I made a clear booking arrangement last night from 19 to 26 now. I need to move out on the 23rd?? Talking to the hotel manager, "Peter" did not help resolve the issue much worse is that he offered me to get higher rate rooms 4000 per night so to continue my reservation!!! . WTF!

Now i need to shoulder higher rate rooms due to the staff incompetency!!!!

The way these people handle their guests is really disappointing! Think twice getting this hotel.. very unprofessional people and managers are not doing their responsibilities to pacify the issue.

The room is spacious, good WiFi, and very good location. But I don't like when their porter/staff insisting of helping to carry your luggage to the room, instead of waiting to be asked for help. The checking out process is very slow and needs to be improved.

Reasonably priced hotel, nothing much special about it. The bed linen was clean but had an aged grey look about it. The double bed was pushed against the side wall so the person on that side either shuffled out of the bottom of the bed or stood up and walked over the other person. It was difficult to phone room service either directly or through the switchboard, it took more than 5 minutes to get the phone answered. I was told to ring another number to order beer, not something I have come across before. The food was cold when it arrived 35 minutes later. |I do not think I will stay here again

Location is very convenient and accessible. Room was clean and big.

My stay would have been nicer, however, the facilities/amenities (gym and pool) were under construction which was on of the reasons why i booked them to begin with.

I opted for the Spa, but the staff were not accommodating at all (came as walk in). I had to wait more than 30mins for them to check on an open time schedule. When I followed up, she replied as if I didn't ask anything?!?!

I did end up with a room massage service by just going through the front desk. It was a good way to end a long day.

Would rate higher if not for the above experience.

No wifi in the room, no telecom signal, ill kept shower, dimly lit room.
Breakfast was a so so, staff are not as friendly.
Stayed here before and wifi and cleanliness were already a problem. After 5 years, they have the same issues.
Definitely not recommending this place

About midnight there were men outside my window of this hotel working on their truck and making a lot of noise.
I went to the lobby and asked the manager of the hotel if they could please ask the men outside my hotel window to be more quiet.
The manager sent one of the hotel employees to ask the men outside my window to please wait until morning to work on their truck.
About 10 minutes later, as I was itting in the lobby of the hotel, I felt a punch to the back of my head. I tried to stand up, but I was punched several more times.
The owner of the truck was not happy about my complaint, and had entered the hotel and punched me in the head several times.
The manager of the hotel, and about 40 other people in the lobby saw what had happened.
I asked for the police to be called, but the manager was too scared to call the police because the man that hit me was a politician from Davao.

Anyway, I was physically assaulted, and the management of the hotel refused to help.
The next morning I refused to pay for my room due to how I was treated.

The hotel is not safe, you can be physically beaten in the lobby, and management will do nothing.

On a white taxi meter, we got PhP 526 on our latest trip from the airport to Mallberry (2 months ago). Took us around 40 minutes from an early morning flight.

Hello, I wont suggest taxi as it gets really pricey since the airport has changed its location . If your booking for this hotel you can call them and ask them about Magnum express (spacious air-condition vans) that ferries people from airport to the mall which is pretty much right next to this hotel... Also at the airport itself you can ask where to get a ride to go to Mallberry Hotel and they will have plenty of options for you... Magnum express tel no. +63888521999... Good luck..
