It was a rainy night when we checked in. We had no vehicle and were allocated Room 108 (a De Luxe room for motorcyclists). I was tired and went straight to sleep. My partner noticed mushrooms on the wall and slept with her head at the foot of the bed. In the morning the mushrooms had grown larger, and the corner of the bed below them was wet. The floor was also set as we're some of our clothes. Staff were concerned and had clothes cried and a shift pressed within half an hour. We checked out to get bus from the adjacent bus terminus. We use Soho hotels quite a lot, but are becoming increasingly wary of using them in future.

Conveniently located beside sm. Clean Place. Family room is BIG. A/C is cold. Hot shower. The tub drain clogs thou, causing slight flood in tub. Toilet flush malfunctioning. Food is great. Staff is accommodating. Value for money. Will definitely prioritize staying in this hotel whenever in naga.

We needed a place to overnight for a wedding the next day. I had seen SOGO in Manila before, and had always assumed they would be a little "seedy" and cater more to the people who rented by the hour. I was pleasantly surprised. Although the room was small it was just right for an overnight stay and it was very clean and had no offensive odor. Shower had nice warm water. Room service was guaranteed to be served in 10 minutes and lived up to its promise, The food was tasty - I especially recommend the pancit. The staff was very friendly and courteous. It is located withing walking distance to and SM and a Robinson's mall, and the main bus/jeepney terminal. The only negative was that the TV remote would not work. They did try to replace it, but it still did not work. I would have no problem with staying at a SOGO again - comfortable, clean and the price is right!

We just stayed 1 night after a 12 hours bus ride from Manila. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is clean.Hot water shower was perfect. The hotel is located directly beside the central bus station. Unfortunately no real window in the room. It seems a bit like a hotel where you can spend a few hours with your love affair.

Okay. Me and my travel buddies went from Calaguas, Cam Norte so we decided to explore Bicol since we were there already. We were supposed to go directly to Albay but because of time constraints, we had to stay at Naga City and spend the overnight. So real talk, when I hear the Sogo, I usually think of short time whatever but nah-really I was wrong. It is especially helpful to travellers as well. Our room is small but surprisingly clean. The comfort rooms were clean. You should try it sometime. It is low price hotel and affordable. Staffs are accomodating too.

Happy Holidays to you all! This time, me and my partner went back to Sogo this 25th. We were curious about their promo w/ jacuzzi @ P580 SAW which we learned from the red tarps scattered all over the city. We asked the receptionist 'Marilyn' (busy with a lot of phone calls and radio feed but didn't ignore us, and made little eye contact while talking to us, and entertained our questions, what a great employee!) about the promo, and we were asked to sit and wait for the confirmation if they have any rooms w/ jacuzzi available. I was half expecting they weren't going to give us the promo price (P580) or even give us a more expensive rate (due to some reviewers complaint), but since it was a Friday at December 25th, we got a discounted price (P565), which is the same price as an Executive room. After a few minutes of waiting, the receptionist told us that there is an available room but its in the drive-in part and a guide will lead us there shortly. We got room 157, Casino-themed, the designs were gorgeous and had lots of wall mirrors! When we first got to the stairs from the garage it smelled mildly of cigarette smoke but we didn't mind. Some of the light switches located at the bedhead weren't working anymore, the safe box wasn't usable, the toiletries provided were only good for one person except for the toothbrushes, there was no rug to dry your feet on after using the bathroom. The bathroom was excellent, the water pressure wasn't strong enough to quickly fill in the jacuzzi. The towel rack didn't have a heating system, so you had to make-do with the used wet towels you are provided. The bedroom had a dinette, table cabinet (with working hair blower w/ 2 levels) each with a chair. TV was large and had a DVD player below it. The bed was similar to the normal rooms (plain white, 2 flat pillows, thin bedsheet), except with a third body-size pillow. At the bedside table you can find the phone and some menu choices. All in all, it was a great stay for a Christmas evening, worth the pay! :D

Checked in a (450 pesos) premium room at 3rd floor for a short time. First thing I noticed was the smell of cigarette smoke in the room, which caused me a bit of a headache. There was a closet room before the bedroom, which is a nice place to leave your shoes and belongings at, though me being paranoid I only left my shoes there. The room itself was pretty nice besides the air. Nice bed with two side tables with telephone, mirrors on the wall by the bed, TV, table with wall mirror. There were two towels, a bed sheet, and two pairs of slippers given with the room promo. The orange lighting helped setting the romantic mood with me and my companion. The room was dim but it works, if you know what I mean. ;) Their CR had a shower and a sink, both had hot and cold functioning running water. They provided a roll of toilet paper as well, so all's well. Their WiFi did not quite reach the 3rd floor, so we opted for mobile data. All in all, it was a good short stay. :)
