Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We came as walk in guests late at night as we had to make a stop and rest for the night. We were told that the rooms with one bed were all booked and only twinbed room is available. Because we were so tired and had no choice, we took the room. It was located on the older side of the hotel. The room has no window at all, we felt like we're enclosed in a box! Called the font desk to ask if they have any other rooms with windows, no matter how much the price difference is but they dont hv any available. The washroom looks old, the floor mat was dirty. Beds were comfy though. It was not such a bad stay but I would look for another hotel to stay in the next time I visit Naga. Location was good, right in the heart of the city.

This hotel has good location since it's in Naga's downtown but it's poorly maintained. When we arrived the bathroom door need a serious repair. No complimentary shampoo and soap. Towels were not change in daily basis. You need to call front-desk if you need anything. Although staffs are friendly. All in all good location but it's not best hotel in Naga.

We had a suite on the third floor. After turning on the aircon we were blessed with a smoke and car exhaust smell for the next two days. We asked for towels in the room...and we finally got them five minutes before we checked out. Do not use the Oyster bar restaurant for you breakfast or any meal thereafter. It was terrible. Staff do not listen and do not care anyway. Example...asked for to toilet paper and towels.... No service. At the oyster bar. Asked for no ice and we got ice...asked for tissues and they just walked away, but glanced at another table with tissues as to get up and get it yourself. I see a going out of business for this hotel in the near future. Sorry Regent but you should remember your clients are important.

our company reserved for 5 rooms for 5 managers, when we were there, were forced to share rooms, tried transferring to other hotels but since it was peak season, we were forced to accept sharing. after some arguments, was able to get three rooms. room assigned to me was very dirty, had to fix the cable for tv myself and the shower is disgusting. terrible service and facilities. worst experience in a hotel.

the hotel staff are unfriendly... and unaccommodating.... the rooms are not well-maintained and uncleaned to be considered a 4 star hotel room .. considering that our family stay in a suite room....and when we cant tolerate our stay anymore and decided to transfer to another hotel... were not able to refund the money that we paid to the hotel totally.....haaay....

It was the WORST hotel I ever encountered! Will never recommend this to anyone! They have good marketing speech, but cannot fulfill their words!
WORST ACCOMMODATION AND HOTEL SERVICE: *Slow response in customer needs, we asked for an e-fan since the ACU wasn't functioning that good at that time, but it was provided almost an hour after the request. *Upon entry, room has no trashcan, towel and bed covers were a bit dirty and colors were not good. I still have to request those things. *Limited parking area for customers.
POOR INTERNAL COMMUNICATION: *Have paid for a food buffet service, but they served it in platter, that's why lots of foods have been wasted.
POOR FACILITIES AND MAINTENANCE: *Poor ACU function *CR was not so clean and has cockroach smell *Hallway has plenty of unnecessary things, which may cause accident to anyone.

What I like most in the hotel is their staff who are friendly and accommodating. Super bait. The amenities and facilities just fit to the price. if ever i have trips in the future, I still choose Naga Regent Hotel cause I find it suiting to my needs and budget.

We were booked originally in a twin Room but when we arrived and saw the room the room assigned to us do not have a window. The room smells old as if no one stayed there for a very long time. The bath towel provided is so old that even the printed name of the hotel is almost erased. The bed sheet is about to be tear apart. The shower curtain is so dirty as if it was not clean from the first day it was placed there. Wifi connection is poor, considering that it is only available in the lobby. We need to print an important document and advise us that it was free but they cannot install our hard drive. Their set breakfast have limited choices. They give an option to choose between fried rice or plain rice but when you request fried rice only plain rice is available. We have our colleagues from another room and when we want to be connected to their phone line it they put me on hold for more that 10 minutes. We were assigned in the 4th Flr and we have to carry all our sales materials on our own and no one even dare to assist us. Over all, I think this hotel need to improve in many areas ( facilities, service, cleanliness).

Its been awhile since my last trip to Naga, even if we have house where I can stay I prefer to stay at Naga Regent because of the independence it provide me and iam more relax staying here. although the reservation staff couldn't confirm I can have my old room. I was pleasantly surprise upon my arrival that my old room is available. even if it doesn't have any windows its frosted windows allow the sun to shine through in the morning. the housekeeping staff was quite courteous and hospitable ready to serve to the best of their ability, Reception counter is no different although manned by new staff, they were great and very helpful. Facilities-wise, everything in my room was quite functioning. I also see that they were renovating other rooms. I may be returning soon to naga earlier than expected and maybe staying longer hopefully still in room #337

Best hotel there is, good location, nice facilities and rates not too high. Staff are accommodating although there could have some room for improvement. specially, in terms of there morning breakfast. A 24/7 coffee shop would be a nice edition to there facilities, and there policy for airport transfer could stand a change.
