Stayed in the Casa Roces for 1 night after a dive expedition on Ticao Island. The B&B is located one street over from the East/West main road in the city, so it is very accessible to local shops and offices while you can enjoy some piece and quiet at night.

Rooms and decor is impeccable and clean. The only minus is a weak water heater, but it is not really a problem in the Philippines.

Stayed for one night at Casa Roces enroute to Naga City. Staff kindly hooked us up with an airport transfer who graciously fetched us despite the 7-hour delay (thanks Cebu Pacific!). We arrived in Legazpi around almost midnight yet staff-in-charge welcomed us warmly and even brought us ice water in the bedroom. The door to the bathroom was oddly small but was fine. Bedroom was big and same goes for the bathroom. Breakfast was provided after a quick mix-up as the night staff misinformed me by saying that it wasn't going to be provided. Day staff promptly texted me in the morning to inform me that breakfast was ready and waiting for us. All in all, I would definitely go back if I ever find myself in Legazpi again.

Hotel-like amenities with a home-like ambience. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Within walking distance from restaurants and several fast food outlets some of which are open 24/7. Breakfast is available on order (the night before) and is cooked in-house b the staff -- no longer ordered from a nearby eatery like it used to be. . A steel gate that is always locked makes the rooms secure. But you have to remember to press the door bell everytime you go out so that someone can lock after you. A water dispenser for both hot and cold water in a common area will be very convenient so the guest do not have to bother the staff everytime you need hot or cold water.

We stayed a single night at Casa Roces, it’s a traditional older mansion of the mayor of Legazpi from 1991-2001. Very clean, excellent service and comfortable spaces. We weren’t able to stay for breakfast but it smelled great - tocino (sweet pork) so likely a traditional breakfast with garlic rice. The bathroom was a little on the small side but had good water pressure and the heater worked fine.

Stayed here for 4 nights April 2018 in a family group of 8. We took 4 rooms. Excellent place to stay and I would give it a 5 rating except the name of the place says "breakfast" which is misleading. You can buy it for an additional purchase and it comes from a nearby restaurant. Other than that, I hilly recommend this place. Great value, friendly staff, within walking distance (less than 2 min) from fast food and local restaurants, but not located on a busy main road. It is near the airport and includes transportation back and forth to airport. Rooms are very clean, beds comfortable, hot water works great, and the air condition units in each room can be temperature controlled so you aren't too hot or too cold.

Casa Roces Bed and Breakfast is just a few steps away from Divine Word College which i visited for business.

The size of the room where i stayed it just the right size for me but the bathroom is really quite small. It's not ideal for tall people.

The breakfast served comes from a local fastfood deviating from the homey feel ambience. The taste was just so-so

The b&b is near a supermart, drugstore, coffee shop, restos and grill, fastfood. I did not see any spa nearby. When i asked, they did not recommend any or particularly know where i could find one.

Overall, i had a pleasant stay. Not bad but it can be improved.

Stayed in Casa Roces immediately after the typhoon last December 2016. They had a back up generator which was really realiable.

I love the fact that this is modern Filipino house that they converted into a bed and breakast. They have a lot of paintings which really told me the that the old owner really loved art. The living room had huge amount of sofas and daybeds.

My stay was really worth the money.

This review is quite overdue. We were there in March 2016.

A quaint little place. I think it only had 6 rooms, not sure though. I think the place used to be an ancestral house of a former politician. That is why it looks like a home. It was well maintained and very clean with super friendly staff. The only downside is they don't have a restaurant so since we were entitled to a free breakfast, the staff had to take our orders and they would order it from a nearby/another restaurant. And there was no centralized air-conditioning in the ground floor where the reception area, lobby and dining room were located. They only provided electric fans at the ground floor so it was kinda hot during the summer season.

But overall, we liked the place since it was reasonably priced, the rooms and private bathrooms were clean and it was well-maintained with an efficient staff.

The casa roces is a small boutique accomodation in legazpi city. It used to be a residential house for a former mayor of the city. It only has 6 bedrooms and it is a clean, well maintained place. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The area is also very quiet and peaceful, but close to the city center. Getting around the city is best by hiring a taxi for a whole day, as it seems the norm there. Price is reasonable enough.
The only downside to staying at casa roces is the fact that there is no in house eatery. however, breakfast is provided and you have to make your order the night before as it is delivered from an outside eatery, owned by the same prorietors of casa roces. It all works out well. I would gladly stay again on my next visit to legaspi.
