The Apple Peach House has a terrace in each floor with a good view of the Mt. Mayon. Rooms are spacious, cool AC, working showers with hot and cold water. There is drinking water dispenser in every floor. They also serve breakfast that goes with the cost of the room. Please note that the building has no elevator and at the time of my visit the phones are not working so you cannot call front desk should you need anything from them. Apple Peach is a few meters from the Albay Cathedral and a park. Public transport is also available nearby.

Apple Peach House is an ok budget hotel in Legazpi.

Booking is fast and easy. We contacted them through their cellphone number and they replied right away. They also provide free airport pick-up.

The location is good, especially for us who like to explore the city using the public transport. It is near the City Hall where most public transport passes.

The lobby looks really nice and inviting because of the colorful artworks on the wall. However, our room is not nice. There is a foul smell coming from our bathroom which makes our room smelly, no matter how many times the staff sprayed air freshener. Though to be fair, the room is clean.

The Apple Peach House is described as a botique hotel in the "Old Legaspi". It's Five minutes away from the airport and within walking distance to the Cathedral, a supermarket, some local restaurants and local shops. This isn't in the central Legaspi but if you plan to visit different areas of the city this is an ideal location.
The hotel has a large number of colorful paintings on the lobby wall. The dining area has a chess board theme and they have a selection of dishes from morning till evening (until lunch during weekends) The staff is very friendly. For our trip I asked if we could check in early, and because it wasn't peak season we were accommodated. Each floor has a common balcony where one can smoke or simple watch the city move. The rooms are big. The bed is VERY comfortable and while I couldn't find a closet there is an open shelving system to hang clothes and small stuff. everything else stays on the floor. Bathroom is large enough with an option for an exhaust. Hotel provides soap, shampoo, body wash and towels. Bring or buy your own toothbrush from the local sari-sari store 2 houses away.. or from the supermarket. While there is always room for tweaking I would have to say that the hotel has character. and the essential needs are met for a good afternoon or night's rest from the day's activities. We stayed over the weekend so the regular bustle and busyness of the city was no where in sight. I can imagine that there would probably be more noise outside Monday thru Friday. Never the less, a clean firm bed, air conditioning and a rain shower would help to put any traveler to sleep and dream of more adventures for the next day.

I was born in Legazpi but grew up in Los Angeles, California USA. Last time I visited Bicol or Pinas was 15 yrs ago.. Until the sudden death of my Dad last year 2015... On his wake, I promised him that I will bring my own little family to visit him on his 1st year death anniversary... So here we are... My kids and hubby never been to Pinas ever... My hubby is Mexican/American and our kids with a mix race of Filipino/Mexican... With so similar tradition and family oriented... Our trip is what we called the "Trip of a Lifetime"... So as much as I wanted them to feel comfortable, I planned ahead and search for good hotel to stay in... I couldn't find The Apple Peach House listing on Trip Advisor App.. Luckily my cousin picked us up at the airport and drove us to 4 different hotels in Legazpi... At our 5th hotel stop, on a rainy day, my 3 yr old daughter having fever and exhausted from flight being delayed.. We walked in the lobby and greeted by the friendliest female guard.. We were then approached and greeted with a warmest smile from the front desk... (Ate Shie) is her name.. We could never forget... She was very accomodating and offered to show us the rooms availability... The very first room she showed us was the Business room as I asked for 2 queen beds atleast... She did not have to say the price.. I initially just said.. "I'll take it!" The room was so clean... Sheets are perfect with no stains... Doesn't smell at all... The bathroom is very spacious and clean.. Love the whole interior... Grey, black, white and silver... Very classy! Everyone from this hotel is so accomodating.. From the kitchen, lobby, housekeeping and guard.. We had a whole lot of valuable items that was left in our room.. And none were missing and instead, was left organized.. So trustworthy! Every staff knows and remember our names.. Specially our kids.. Who they greet each morning from the stairs for breakfast.. Gives them hug and high five! Feels like just home! Warm hospitality! We stayed here for 8 days straight.. Altough we have a 7 bedroom house and 3 room maid quarters in the back house.. We still chose to stay here as it is too sad for me to stay at our own house, as my Dad was no longer with us.. And staying at Apple Peach house made it a lot easier and comfortable... So I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Albay... I hope that the Apple Peach Management Team could maintain this hotel and wishing them for more business to come! Looking forward in staying here again next year! Please extend my special appreciation to all staff on duty during our stay from June 18-26, 2016. Dios Mabalos Tabi Sa Indong Gabos!

My fiancee and I stayed here for two nights during Valentines Day weekend. Hotel was very clean, rooms were spacious. Staff was very friendly and every inquiry or request was met promptly and courteously. Good-sized lobby with tables/chairs for meal times or just hanging out. There is a small bar at the back of the hotel. The hotel had a nice Valentines dinner with live music, very thoughtful of the staff to host this for the guests. Nice church nearby for Sunday mass (my first time going to a mass in the Philippines). We were very happy with our stay and I would definitely recommend the Apple Peach House to anyone staying in Legazpi

I truly enjoyed my stay! The rooms are modern classy and the unique character of the hotel was really brought out by the paintings and interesting chess table with chairs carved out from chess pieces. The staff are very friendly and quick to attend to my requests. They even gave me keychain freebies.
If you are the type of traveller who enjoys sleeping in and relaxing in a hotel, this is the place to be.
A few nice to haves would be a swimming pool in the roof top and hope the restaurant would be open until dinner if there are guests so there's no need to go out and buy food outside :)
Will definitely go back!

I booked for three Executive Rooms at this hotel on November 12 for overnight stay coming from Masbate at 3am via Pilar Port. We arrived at the hotel at around 10am and as a frequent traveler I know that early check in is subject to availability. I informed the receptionist that we are just dropping our things as we are booked for city tour in Legazpi. I re-confirmed our early departure the following day at 5am and told them to have the breakfast ready prior to our departure since it is inclusive of the rate we have paid. The receptionist informed that their lounge opens at 6am but she will inform her manager to make special arrangements.
We decided to have our breakfast at the hotel prior our city tour. The disastrous experience started from there on.
• Food attendant missed one of the order; the rest of the group finished their meals and we followed up on the meal (daing silog) in which they asked if it’s possible to serve it with steamed rice, my sister agreed to it. The steamed rice was with a “live worm”; my sister showed it and decided to cancel the meal for she lost her appetite. We have paid our bill in cash since our complimentary breakfast is for the following day.
• In the evening, we have re-confirmed the timing for our breakfast and the male receptionist informed that this is not possible. I have highlighted that this is as per booking arrangements and with several notice. Moreso, I cited that if they really cannot serve the breakfast at 5am, they could have offered our breakfast upon our arrival as complimentary to offset for their commitment the next day. The staff told me that he will check with his manager and when he called back, the hotel committed breakfast to be served at 430am. To make it simpler, ordered for continental breakfast for all of us.
• The disaster came upon check out, their cook arrived at 5am at the time we were loading our bags in the vehicle. We did not opt for their complimentary airport transfer as stated during our booking because it was not offered despite knowing that we are leaving early. And to top it all it seems they cannot be trusted, as they do not know how to value TIME… we do not want to miss our flight!
It was the worst experience we ever had in all the hotels in Philippines… from Luzon, Mindanao and Visayas…. The hotel is over-rated and worst in customer service. Since we will be visiting Bicol again as a transit of our trip to/from Masbate, we will never again stay at this hotel and will tell my friends on our unpleasant experience.

Friendly staff, room was big and cozy, but tv was kinda small for the big room, they have a nice reception area where the walls are filled with paintings also location was great, you can walk a minute or two to ride a jeepney going around legazpi/daraga area, there is also a tricycle station near the hotel, will recommend this hotel to friends who travel on a budget.

Its our first trip to Albay and this hotel gave us the comfort we needed. Clean room, comfy bed and a very cold aircon ( best for a highlander like me.hehhe- ofcourse you can adjust the temp according to what you want it). The only thing off is that we didnt find a cabinet to put our things but its all okay-good thing we didnt bring a lot of clothes. The complimentary breaksfast is okay to get you started for your Legazpi tour!

Fyi: for smokers, a veranda is available per floor to accomodate you.

I love the art gallery feel of the lobby and the restaurant. The rooms are well-appointed. You would definitely get value for money. My room is just Php1,880 and its comparable to the more expensive rooms of other hotels in the area. Each floor has a balcony that has a great view of Mayon Volcano.

No elevator though but its just 3 floors anyway. Breakfast could use a bit of improvement.
