Casita Aurora is a charming property built in the style of an old Filipino home, with the conveniences of modern living. The architecture and quaint decor brings you back to that genteel era. Guests have known to just linger in the breakfast room for hours without noticing it, having coffee and pastries, or just relaxing with the view of the tropical garden.

This is our first time to ever try ‘bed and breakfast’ and Casita Aurora B&B did not disappoint us at all. Love, love, love the eclectic and chic design right from the very moment we entered the casita. I feel transported to the very essence of filipino authentic hospitality. You can tell they put so much love and effort on the property. Designs and decor were pleasant and unpretetious (not to mention the nice greenery at the entrance and the courtyard of the main house). Our room, with 2 twin beds, was small but well appointed and clean. I love the bathroom tiles, it feels rubberized (if that’s the term). The hosts were beyond amazing. They were patient enough to wait for us as we had a major car breakdown along the way. They’re very personable and friendly and went above and beyond to cater to our needs (by the way, thanks for being patient with us - our constant request for potable water refill and the 5 am morning walk we failed to mention). The roof top has an amazing view of Mayon (we checked early in the morning, haven’t tried in the evening though). If you’re looking for a memorable stay while in Legazpi City, look no further, this is the place to be. I’ll highly recommend to my family and friends. Indeed, we came as guests and left as friends…. Dios Mabalos😍

Martin, Elizabeth and their family bring you in to their world with a clean and wonderful facility, great recommendations of things to do and trusted associates to do them with. Their kitchen is always open to keep things in their pantry or fridge, and their staff is helpful— good cooking too. Their casita is replete with sweet oil paintings from a local artist. The balcony is peaceful with a view of the mighty Mayon, the 7000’ behemoth cone that watches over Legazpi. It is by far the most breathtaking volcano we have ever seen, and it morphs into a new view every ten minutes. We were even invited to their family’s New Year’s Eve party. If you come to Legazpi, which is a don’t miss life bucket list place, then Casita Aurora will add sweetness to the memory.

Many words for so short a moment's stay! My friends and I arrived earlier than our check-in time and the lovely owner-couple did not hesitate to welcome us and prepare a scumptuous & sumptuous breakfast for our group of 6. Now that, indeed, is the warmest welcome one could get. We also found out that we were the first group to stay in their bed and breakfast. The rooms are chic and shabby giving you the homey feel at once complete with the modern amenities of cable and wi-fi. One is brought to the experience of being in the past yet living in the present. Every room has its His/Her-story to tell matched with the quaint and artistic decors giving importance to details. Surrounding the B&B is a well-manicured lawn and garden allowing the freshness and serenity to invade the B&B making you feel relaxed. My best part of the B&B is the roof deck where the majestic Mayon Volcano is in full view making a picturesque background for early morning snapshot of smiles amidst grandeur. But my best experience of the place is the people who painstakingly care for your needs with the most respectable smiles answering to every beck and call. What a safe and soothing place to stay in the midst of a city where everything is within one's reach - airports, ports of arrival, tourist spots, malls, restaurants . . . everything!

Casita Aurora is everything a B&B should be: bright, homey, and comfortable with excellent breakfast and incredible hosts. My friend and I stayed here for only one night, but I wish it had been longer. The place is ADORABLE in every way. Their rooftop has amazing views of Legazpi and the volcano.
But more than anything else, the real gems at Casita Aurora are the owners. Super friendly and hospitable, they went way above and beyond to make my friend and I feel at home. They even drove us to the waterfront for visiting and to the airport when it was time for us to leave. Really really wonderful people. I want to go back to Legazpi just so that I can stay here again!

A beautiful city that sits at the bottom of the world's famous Mt. Mayon Volcano. A land full of adventure and gastronomic delights. Legazpi City is a famous city in the Philippines that should be on everyone's bucket list! But, one place made our stay even more memorable, and it's the Casita Aurora Bed and Breakfast.
As I entered the B&B, I was brought back in time. It reminded me of the different beautiful B&B's where I stayed in the UK and Ireland. It was beautiful! The details and the inspiration that Elizabeth and Martin put in to Casita Aurora was incredible!
The warm hospitality that greeted us really felt like a home. From the moment we arrived up to the day we left, It was like a home away from home. You can feel that they love what they are doing and it's really their passion.
Each rooms are uniquely designed and very tasteful! The beds are very comfy and the pillows are just perfect. We had a great sleep! The breakfast was also good and prepared personally by Elizabeth, the owner of the B&B.
Next time I visit Legazpi City, there is no better place to stay but in Casita Aurora Bed and Breakfast!
As what my friend said, " You will be treated as FAMILY and not as guests!"

Only had one night in Legazpi and glad we picked Casita Aurora for our stay. Well designed and decorated house, only opened recently, great view of Mt Mayon from the roof top terrace. The owners take time to welcome you and give you advise on the area, what to see, where to eat.... Breakfast is very good and served with brewed coffee which is not so common in the Philippines. Will definetly stay there again when we visit the majestic Mt Mayon again.

Well, from the place to the people, I can only say nothing but good words.
For those who are attending us, they are very warm and hospitable, especially the owners. The service was great. They made sure that we were comfortable in our rooms—immediately attending to our needs. Beds are well arranged and the toilets are clean. Room service was prompt. One time the TV in our room malfunctioned, and in just a few hours it was replaced.
The gardens were also beautiful. Though we have not much time to marvel and appreciate it, I am convinced that they contributed much to the initial impression that upon entering the place we are warped decades back in time.
And yes, the roof deck. You can see the magnificent Mayon Volcano in the morning. The view from there is enough for one to pick up the camera and take pictures of volcano or use it as backdrop for individual and group pictures.
Casita Aurora is also wonderfully placed so as for you not to travel far to appreciate the nearby tourist destinations like the Daraga Church or the Cagsawa Ruins. It is also near to some of the best diners serving local cuisine.
The food served also was delightful. Breakfast served here is always special—a subtle yet delightful mix of the familiar and unfamiliar—may it be eggs made extra special, or your sotanghon mixed with a local kakanin, it never fails to delight our taste buds. And yes, there is brewed coffee.
But it was really the warm and friendly atmosphere that made Casita Aurora stand-out as a Bed and Breakfast. During our stay, and our interactions with the people there, one never feels that he or she has left home. If there are flaws for this place, the family-like atmosphere prevails over that.
I especially recommend it to first time travelers to Legazpi because their accommodating service will make you feel that you have lived in Legazpi for years. It also a wonderful place for recurring visitors because of the established ties during one’s previous stay.

Superb service! From the sumptuous breakfast served with love and personal touch of the owner (which is btw the real b&b experience) clean and well-maintained rooms, to the scenic rooftop view of the place (facing Mayon). Such a homey and cozy place! It's my first B&B experience and it did not disappoint! The owners are the best- Tita Mabeth and Tito Martin! I am definitely coming back soon! I urge you to try and experience it yourself. Bring your family and friends with you.

Love this gorgeous b&b! The decor is adorable, our rooms are clean, cozy and each with a TV and ensuite. The breakfast is generous and really feels like you are visiting friends and sharing their food. A lovely, unique experience with the added bonus of fab views of Mayon from the rooftop. Highly recommend and would definitely come back. Thank you Elizabeth and Martin for your hospitality and to Olive for looking after us so well. Dios mabalos!

This is a long overdue review but I'm writing it anyway. The bed and breakfast places I have been to have their own staff and are, well, literally places that you can stay and have a set breakfast. No offense, all are good and affordable. Casita Aurora (casita = little house), however, is different. It's like having your own house, or at least that's what my mother, my uncle, and I felt as we were the only guests staying there. There was a small board by the entrance with our names on it. The welcome drink was not your typical powdered iced tea but was something really refreshing that I asked for a 2nd glass of it!
Our room was on the 2nd floor and our view was the garden and the house of the owners. If it isn't cloudy, you'll be able to see the Mayon Volcano from the rooftop. The breakfast, like what everyone else has written about, was so delicious and abundant! It wasn't just your typical choice of 1 drink, rice and a viand or bread. And it was different everyday. I especially liked the soup, the bread and the jam.
The owners and "manang" were very nice and they would interact with you, help make you feel like a part of the family, not clients. They even dropped us off the airport for free. I guess airport pick-up is complimentary but we didn't take advantage of that because our tour guide (recommended by Ms. Elizabeth) picked us up.
I normally use Trip Advisor whenever I book a place for a vacation because the reviews are very helpful to me when making a decision. I knew I was making the right choice even before I paid the reservation fee as Ms Elizabeth was very communicative, helpful, responsive to my ever growing list of questions. No wonder Casita Aurora is one of the top bed and breakfast places in Legazpi!
