Came here with my husband on a business trip. The resto got my attention. Plating was good . That time, I was starving already, and was not helping lols., the smell of food we ordered waiting from the kitchen. That was what I missed here in the Philippines, the Filipino food. The waiting service was efficient. All in all, it was reasonably priced. Good job! Will definitely come back.

Most review here are negative. It baffles me since when I and my friends stayed there, we enjoyed our stayed. Everyday we need to go to La Piazza and on our free time, we get to visit tourist sites like the Lingnon Hill and Cagsawa Ruins. The place is near a road so tricycles and jeepneys pass by. The location of the hotel is near to the airport and free shuttle is available.

Our slept well during our stay. Maybe because we're a group of friends that why things that bothered other couples pass through our senses. We got a room with 2 single bed and 1 matriarch bed. Beddings are clean and so is the room. There's a TV and a small fridge. Hair dryer is also available through request. The CR is clean enough. Hot and cold water is available.

The food is okay. There's an option between hot chocolate and coffee. Both continental and Filipino breakfast is available. However, service is quite slow especially in providing the drinks given that the drinks are not brewed.

An outside pool is available for guests to use. However, it was rainy on our stay there and we didn't get to enjoy the pool much.

My friends previously stayed at Sampaguita Inn and Alicia is several notch better.

Worst Hotel OMG!!!!!!
This place is not only a dump, but dishonest too. I checked in, walked to my room and immediately walked back down to check out/ cancel my stay. The room smelled like death and the hotel had a dirty appearance all around. When I checked out, I was told they would not credit my first night, but would cancel the other two nights. I accepted those terms and proceeded with checkout. I asked for confirmation of my cancellation and the girl at the counter denied the request saying since the reservation was done through a 3rd party (booking.com) that there was no receipt to provide. (I should have pushed harder on this or suspected something at this point). Now they are refusing to credit any part of stay and saying that I never checked out and that the room was occupied all 3 nights. I went through their dispute process and showed them confirmation of my immediate reservations made at different hotel for the same nights. They refuse to accept any proof and are charging my full reservation.

By the way, the rooms have a slider door at the front that opens to a quad where all of the other sliders to the other rooms open up to. I has a feel of an apartment building. When I went to slide the screen open to let air in the room while I made calls to find another place to stay, the slider broke off the track. This place is a complete dump.

1. The place smells bad
2. The location is dirty, inside and surrounding
3. They are dishonest.
4. For similar rate, you can get a better stay just a couple of miles away.
5. And the last thing I left my two Bvlgari perfume I just notice when I was in manila I called the front desk but she told me the house keeping didn’t get anything, try to talk to the Manager keep ignoring my call, and also the security for the lost and found very unprofessional.
This is all the name of the staff at Alicia Hotel:
Manager: Jandrie Galang
Security: Joseph Pee
Front Desk: Abby Azul
House Keeping: Lyka Nazol

Room Tip: don’t stay here, got a very BAD and STUPID service!

Stayed in Alicia when it first opened 11 years ago and enjoyed it but this time around it was a nightmare.

Cons
1. Half the lights in the room didnt work...including bathroom light...they were never fixed despite alerting the problem to staff
2. Mattress bedsheet was not changed on our second night. Not sure why. I still had the same cigarrette burn hole so I called and got a new sheet.
3. The pool is an oversized toilet. Skin, hair, feces, dirt and dust were very visible on the surface. Water needed to be changed.
4. Rooms average 2000 pesos a night which is 1000p more than what they should charge considering all the problems.

Pros
1. Quiet location
2. New annex has clean rooms....no carpet- tiled floor
3. No cockroaches
4. Free shuttle to and from airport but you need to ask if you want a pickup from the airport. They won't mention the free shuttle over the phone if you call for a reservation ahead of time.

We are locals here in legazpi city and we only booked this hotel for our visitors from germany. DISGUSTING is a great understatement that would describe this hotel.

When our visitors asked if there was a welcome drink, we were given a glass of water that looked like it came from the tap, in a glass that looked yellowish. and the great thing is that it was served by the same entourage that welcomed us - a gardener and a maid. The aircon was better suited for alaska with air that smelled of nicotine. We regretted booking this hotel for our guests and we were quite embarassed for ourselves . Well, bad things happen, and weve decided to just charge it all to experience.

Deicide to stay here because we were thinking of booking it for are wedding reception it look very nice on the outside and we had already viewed the reception hall that is across the street from the hotel. Anyways got an executive room! Not in any way would you class the room as executive the lights didn’t work, the was no shower or hot water, toilet didn’t flush everything away! We sat in the bar and watch the tumble weed blow across the room no joke it was dead but still took over 30 mins to get drinks and about 45mins for sandwich and hamburger to be served and it could not be charged to the room and had be paid in cash. This next part has only ever happen to me in this hotel and never in any of the hundred’s of hotel, motels or B&B I have ever stay in but they change me 45 peso for one extra cup of coffee that also had to be paid in cash before I left the breakfast area! Never in my life at any place I have stayed in any part of the world were you have a room including breakfast have I ever had to pay cash to get a second cup of coffle that served by giving you a cup of hot water and packet of coffee! Never again or anyone I know will I let stay here.

Room: Very comfortable bed and lighting in the room. They have a mini-fridge and free bottled water and coffee. Thermos. The bathroom is also very clean and they have a heater for your shower. The room is off the page of a 5 star hotel.

Location: Probably the best there is in Legazpi. It's probably just a 2 minute car ride from the airport. And around 8-10mins away from the malls and local restos/bars. There's a couple of sari-sari stores outside the Hotel in case you need supplies for your stay, and there are lineup of tricycle drivers in case you would want to visit some places.

Service: The staff is very nice and accommodating and are often aware of what the guests need. You won't feel guilty asking for favors and making requests unlike other hotels. If you're lucky, you might meet the hotel manager who's very nice and approachable and be offered cup of tea from his wide and crazy list.

Food: There's a generous choice of food, and they're pretty affordable and generous with the servings. They also have a bar menu which I like cause their dining area is pretty spacious and cool. There's an area for television, for drinking by the bartender. Even an extended room with a piano/keyboard and Karaoke open during some nights (not so sure when they open, best to ask the front desk or staff)

Others: They have a pool garden which is nice, the whole area is spacious and easy on the eyes. The design is pretty simple so it wouldn't take you too long to find the place you need to be whether its the bar, pool, parking, dining, etc.

Overall, the place has everything you need for a vacation. Whether it's for Stay-in, Backpacking, Groups, Receptions or Events. Very affordable and you won't ever regret your stay.

We were charged P400 dahil yung cleaners ay may nakita na very faint black ink. Na sigurado kaming hindi galing samin. Wala kaming idea paano kami makaka stain ng ganun. Walang naglabas ng ballpen, walang naka dye yung hair samin, walang naka black samin na shirt -- as in no idea how that very faint black ink (halos hindi kita) was there.
Sinabi namin na baka nandun na siya una palang pero sure daw sila na hindi.
At ang pinaka hindi namin nagustuhan, the manager refused to talk with us kahit na iniinsist namin.

Also, the fruit was not fresh and the coffee's diluted
