This is a good hotel at affordable prices. The room was big, clean and quiet, the bed was super size and comfortable, hundreds of TV channels, sitting areas, desk etc. Very nice experience. The hotel is some way out of town in a rather unusual spot but as we were travelling by car this was not a problem. There is an excellent Chinese in house restaurant.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay with the hotel. The staff are very accomodating. The room was spacious, clean and with amazing view of the Mayon Volcano. I just wish they have more options on the menu list in their restaurant. But overall, we will definitely will be staying again with La Piazza and will be recommending them with our friends.

Big rooms, strong wi fi signal in the lobby but not in our room, only few minutes to airport, good airport shuttle service.. We had a good stay in La Piazza. Our room is big, my kids love the tv and big beds. T&B is rather small. We had a ref only on the last night of our stay. Food served during breakfast is ok except that we would normally end up with only a few food by the time we have our breakfast, perhaps because of its many guests during the Holy Week. We enjoyed our late night snack there especially the cheesy fries. Wifi signal, especially in the lobby is ok, but not in our room.

Booked this hotel based on good reviews from Tripadvisor. Hotel staff are friendly and courteous. The deluxe rooms were spacious. When we checked in, first thing I noticed was the smell of urine coming from the bathroom. I assumed that the bathroom was just not cleaned thoroughly since the smell was gone after my 2 kids took a bath. The next day, breakfast was served incomplete and COLD after 45 minutes. We went to Lignon Hill after but had to go back to the hotel before lunch because of rain. We came in in the middle of their housekeeping. My father stayed in their room while we all transferred to our room to give the housekeepers space in their cleaning. My father saw the staff wipe the used cup, saucer and spoon with the used towel and put it back on the coffee table as if newly-washed. The used towel was also used to wipe the toilet bowl.

We came out to look for a good resort and checked out right away.

Stayed here last May, Waited for our room for 5 hours but there was a guest who arrived and knows the lady in charge so she just waited for 20 min and magic.. a room was available.. After 5 hours Finally we got the room with a big bed but we were not a couple so I called the reception and the lady FO in charge said that we cannot have a double bed because the travel agency that booked us did not advise them??? for real isn't this a hospitality industry.. so for short she wanted me and my male companion to sleep beside each other.. We got so irritated because we hadn't had much sleep after flying in from Manila.. After all her chitchat I saw the bed and it could be split into 2 so I advised her. Instead of proper guest handling and say that we will do something about it she pointed fingers that the booking was made by sales... and she will check with the housekeeping if it can be done and the TA did not advise them etc... I think she needs more customer service training because all she knows to say NO it cannot be done..

The room needed some fixing especially the room toilet. There is no shower pressure needs fixing and the toilet ceiling I guess needs repair. The breakfast was okay typical breakfast that could start your day as we were there for a business trip. There was this one reception named Jhen who checked us in and I think she must be the one in charge of the Front desk because she knows how to talk and handle guests, instead of the one in charge that spoke to us i don't know if she is a manager or supervisor because she had no name plate and not in uniform, she needs training and lower her echoing voice at the lobby when she talks to her workmates with a demanding voice ..

Our colleagues checked in at another hotel and we had our meetings there.. the room was great the resto and service.. top notch..we will stay there on our next trip back to Legazpi..

We basically booked the room for a place to rest after a tour and for flight purposes, and that's exactly how we used the hotel. After checkin -in, we just placed our bags in the room and left. The rooms are quite big, and the beds are big as well. Very clean, simple, airconditioning is working, breakfast was more than what was expected (loved the tapa!) and they provide free wifi and airport shuttle service.

One negative review though, the FO staff who checked us in kept on answering "I'm just new here" everytime we asked her a question. Not so professional, needs more training.

My wife and I just checked out from this hotel, but with a big smile on our face. The hotel was an excellent choice with a reasonable price, friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, not to mention the location where you can see the majestic Mayon Volcano. We are very well satisfied with our 2 nights stay in the hotel. Highly recommended for travelers who wants to be pampered after a very long trip.

My husband and I stayed at La Piazza from March 15 to 18, 2014 at a De Luxe room and we only have good things to say about this hotel. We also enjoyed the selection of their bar. The hotel is conveniently located so you can get around the city by public transport.

It has a good view of the Mayon Volcano but more importantly, it is just 5 minutes away from the airport. We stayed for two nights at a twin bed room I had no complaints. The rooms were cozy, comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly, the breakfast buffet was yummy, especially the Bicol specialties. You can also ask them to make the Bicol Express less spicy. :D

We visited the place at April 2012. I think the hotel was fairly new at this time.

First thing I liked was the location. It was along the highway so it's very accesible from the airport and buses. There are a lot of buses, jeepneys and tricycles along the road so there was no trouble traveling around.

The staff was very nice and accomodating. They were quick to answer if we had questions, and always had a smile on their faces. Check in and check out was pretty quick.

Their rooms were clean and spacious for a couple. My friends and I got 2 rooms since there were 4 of us but we could have easily fit in 1 room. They were also able to give us adjacent rooms. The bathroom was not as spacious but enough space for 1.

When we arrived, we had no appointment or reservations for any tours. However, when I reserved the rooms over the phone, the receptionist mentioned that they had tours and tour guides available if we wanted one. After checking in, we checked their tour packages and we got one at an affordable price. We went around Legaspi city, visited the tourist destinations and had dinner at a local restaurant. Our tour guide was very good and nice to us. Since there was 4 of us, we were able to get our own van for the tour.

Overall, a good and affordable experience in Legaspi, all thanks to La Piazza. :D

Hi, based on our experience we only did the tours by ourselves. We used public jeepneys and tricycles, this is ok if you're getting around within Legazpi City only, but if you like to visit other attractions in Naga or Caramoan.. I recommend seeking a travel agent,, unfortunately right now I dont know any. Keep on searching. I know something will come up. 👌🏻
