We stayed 1night here. The place is perfect for those who wants a staycation a bit further out of buzzy town and to be closer to mother nature. They offer motorbikes for rent but for those who travels in tight budget there are tricycles to get outside the resort for 20php/person and hop off at Ayala Mall. The place in general is clean, very cozy and beautiful. Clean pool. The room we had was a modern queen cabin room, enough space, very cozy and clean. The restaurant was great, though we wish in the future they will have options for vegetarians/vegans. Our diet is mostly raw food vegetables only but flexible when it's necessary. Last but not least, the staff are very helpful and specially the owner's son is very friendly and service minded. Legazpi city itself is clean and pleasant. Very beautiful view towards Mayon Volcano from the boulevard. We went to a Sunday service at the Raphael Church and we were greeted by street beggers and sadly they also "attended" during the service. Hope this short review helps, we will definitely come back and do more hiking. For those who loves to hike, go to green lava, no entrance fee there. Black lava has entrance fee. Take a tricycle for 50p for 2person from the resort to nearest barangay road that will lead you to the green/black lava.

I stayed at their superior queen room. The rooms looks great from the outside but that's all. AC is hardly felt especially when it gets really hot during the day. The private toilet does not have bidet or hot shower. Water kettle for boiling water/ glasses/mugs are also not available. You have to go all the way back to the reception area to get the hot/cold water from the water dispenser.

I’ve always stayed here with family and friends and business partners who always prefer simple accommodation with a fresh ambiance and view . They have very simple rooms but the fresh air , natural ambiance , Mayon volcano , ATV rides , and a pool complete the simple pleasures we need for some holidays in Legaspi City . If you’re family is huge though you would need a bigger bathroom and hug beds . Take the family room . They have bonfires at night with a great sunset view behind Lignon Hills . The staff is friendly although the new ones try hard to be accommodating, but still kind and friendly to attend to your needs .

We were so excited to stay here for a few nights whilst exploring Legazpi, the pictures looked amazing and it has a swimming pool so for the price it seemed great! On arrival we where greeted nicely by the staff they took 500php key deposit which is normal in some places in Philippines. This is about as good as it got for us. They tried selling us an overpriced quad package almost double the price of other company’s even with there permanent special offer of 20% off. The place looks great on the pictures but you quickly realise it’s as if your staying on a crazy golf course! Well trapped on one anyway. The place is around 20minutes away from the city itself so if you have no motorbike is a big problem! The on-site restaurant is overpriced and takes advantage of people with nowhere else to go, not only that but the service is appalling! Missed orders twice! And most of the food was bland! The sosig was nice actually!
Ok now for the accommodation, if you choose a balcony apartment the stairs are very steep which is great when you need the toilet in the middle of the night! And the shower was broken, the head fell off constantly when turned on. The beds where pretty much sliced cheese sized mattress so it was like sleeping on concrete. The place was so so run down. We only managed one night here and had to book somewhere else. We approached the office and they had the 500 deposit waiting for us and didn’t even question why we checked out a full day early not even one word came out of there mouths! So rude!
Lastly we just want to add we have been travelling for 13 months now and this is only the 2nd time we have had to leave a place early I’d hate for other people reading this review to think we are over reacting. Stay here at your own risk!

I spent a great few days break here. My only problem was the poor phone signal in my cabin and the fact the wifi wasn't particularly stable. Staff were very helpful and the ATV safari up the mountain was really enjoyable. Will definitely look at staying there again when I next visit the area.

I had a wonderful stay here. The pool was really nice and the vibe of the place was great. The staff were very nice and the ATV tour is a must! You get 20% off when you stay in the rooms. Is worth noting that the steps up to our room were very steep but other than that, couldn’t fault it. Really enjoyed my stay

We picked this place because of pictures we saw uploaded on social media. They designed the entire resort/hotel to look like a campsite. At night and on the outside, the place does look very Instagrammable. However, the rooms leave much to be desired--they're cramped and the banig wall was damaged. The towels were threadbare and looked like they had been used a hundred times. The staff were generally considerate and polite. On a separate note, I enjoyed the ATV ride, although compared to other tours, it was a little more pricey. Would I stay at their hotel again? Nope. Would I go on the ATV tour? Yeah, sure.

It was an ok experience staying here. We stayed in a hut without a bathroom. The hut did have AC and was clean. We ate at the restaurant and the food was decent, but not exceptional and not particularly well-priced. The shared bathroom had only cold showers, was dark, and had no place to hang clothes while showering. The men's bathroom has two urinals fully visible to anyone anywhere near the bathroom complex. I chose not to use those. The signage to the bathrooms seems perplexing to the guests, so I repeatedly saw people wandering into the wrong bathrooms. I felt like the full-visible urinals provided a good gender clue, but apparently not. My wife said a man came in and showered in the women's bathroom accidentally while she was showering. The location of the facility itself is a bit odd. It's not exactly in Legazpi City, but it's also not far enough outside the city to feel "remote". There appear to be abandoned buildings adjacent to the property for instance. Getting a rideshare to the airport involved some waiting and worrying, but we did eventually get one. We were imagining our stay would be memorable on some level, but it was just adequate and somewhat forgettable. I wouldn't want to stay here more than a couple of days.

This is an unusual and interesting property. It was opened about three years ago and comprises some twenty cabins in three different formats (see photos). Approximately six of these are a sort of cabin on stilts with the toilet/shower below on the ground floor. Reached by very steep steps, the cabin in small and very basic. I was put in one of these and requested a change as it was a little too rustic for me! So I was moved to a ground floor cabin which was more spacious and generally more comfortable. There is a small flat screen TV showing a surprising variety of programs. Bedding consists of a lower sheet on a form mattress and a blanket should you need it. There is a noisy air conditioner.
The third kind of room is in the form of some sort of communal accommodation which I did not see. There are about four of these rooms as I understand it. The shower is cold water (not really a problem at this latitude) and you need to remember to ask for toilet paper at the reception hut.
Facilities include a reasonable above ground swimming pool, small bar that opens at 6pm, and a restaurant with a fairly basic menu (quite a lot of which seemed not to be available on the days I was there). Breakfast is included in the room price and I am told that the food available at other times of the day is quite good. Best if you go with the Philippine food options though! The restaurant closes at 9pm.
Prices for staying at YBH are about 1,500 pesos for a double but check their website for actual offers.
Also closely associated with the ‘hotel’ is a four wheel ATV (all terrain vehicle?) service for exploring the edge of the very active volcano a few miles away. Staying at YBH gives you a 20% discount. It’s quite good fun but don’t expect any compensation if anything goes wrong…your fault or theirs! (See photo of the published price list as at November 2019.)

Planned a Legazpi trip for my husband’s birthday, and I’ve now been told to relinquish all trip planning responsibilities!! We actually left and didn’t end up sleeping here. All started promisingly. Arrived in the early flight from Manila. Left our bags with them, and they arranged an ATV tour for us (staying here you get 20% off). They also liaised with someone local so we could hire a scooter for the duration of our stay in Legazpi. The site looks lovely and well-kept, and the pool is a great addition, especially with the background of Mayon. Mid morning we returned from the ATV tour and dropped our bags off in our room (room 15). It was simple, but I expected that given the really reasonable price. The bed was quite small for two people, and the linen didn’t smell the freshest, but we thought it would do. The evening is where it started to unravel. Showered out by the pool as there were several cockroaches in our bathroom. We borrowed some spray and managed to get rid of those, but one died down the sink and blocked it ! As soon as it got dark, more and more of them emerged. Can’t count how many we killed in our room. We live in Manila so can cope with a couple, but this was excessive. Thought we would ask if we could transfer rooms (perhaps it was just ours...) but they were full, but said tomorrow we’d be able to change rooms. Fine! Decided we would just deal with it for the night and move tomorrow. But on returning to the room, found them in the bed, some massive ones on the floor and on the door handle too. Knew we would get a terrible sleep, so at 10pm loaded up the bags on our scooter (with me in my pyjamas!) and found a hotel in town. So so disappointing. Returned the key the next day and they were really sorry for our experience. Said they couldn’t do a refund for the two nights but did offer an ATV tour (but not really any use as we’d already done one and had plans for the afternoon anyway). The photos online look great, and they really have worked hard to make the communal areas as good as they are, but our room was awful. Again, perhaps it was just our room and others were better, but I would not risk it, neither would I recommend to a friend if they were visiting here. The hotel we’ve ended up in is standard but way more expensive and lacks the personality of Your Brother’s House, but it is clean and comfortable. Such a shame it didn’t live up to expectations.
