Booked a 4D/3N stay, 2 rooms with Mount Mayon view. The complementary airport shuttle was on time. We arrived early and after a short wait along with a meal in the coffee shop, we were handed our room keys. The rooms are fairly clean, the quality of bedding and bathroom amenities/towels is to a good standard. The view of Mount Mayon (room 246) is partially obstructed by trees. Room 220 had problems with a malfunctioning telephone and toilet flush. With a busy road right in front it is difficult to achieve a good nights’ rest. There is still a need to train staff properly. Especially the check-out process is quite tedious. The phrase “we still need to check your room” is quite insulting. Due to the lack of hotels with an acceptable standard, there is unfortunately very few choices apart from the Marison.…
Wonderful stay. Well-appointed rooms and facilities. Professional , attentive and courteous staff. Definitely worth every peso. Even the cocktails are world-class. We will return soon. This is an example of an establishment over-delivering. Kudos. I've been in the f&b industry for almost 2 decades and am glad for hotels that pay attention to details that make the guest experience the priority.
everything is perfect, the comfortable stay, nice bed, clean rooms and well oriented staff very helpful staff and definitely will comeback again soon for a vacation of my relatives from new zealand, thanks a lot Marison
When we first entered the hotel, we noticed how clean the floor is. We stayed there for 2 nights, and we enjoyed our vacation. The kids enjoyed the pool while us enjoyed the food. Kudos Marison. Will definitely recommend to our friends and relatives.
I can say that this hotel is one of the best hotel in the city. Always smells fresh and they maintained the cleanliness of the hotel. Very fast check in compared before and the staff are all very friendly. Food are superb too. Will definitely come back again soon.
Great service! Hotel staff are friendly and courteous. Great breakfast food selection. Nice and clean rooms with comfortable bed. They offer free airport transfer too. Downside only is their very unstable wifi, so they may not be the best hotel to stay if you’ll be staying in Legazpi for business or remote work and need a strong internet
Had a 3 night stay and for me it's yes over prices versus the stay can be more cheaper. Space of the room is enough and hope they may improve their furniture and fixture. Was not able to use the pool as well since it's not allowed as per their welcome note. They should update it. We were picked up by the airport shuttle which is convenient. Upon arriving check in was fine. For the food, kindly looked into it since we from manila have the same value but quality is far off. The staff are wonderful, the interior is great but I hope they may focus on updates with information. By far it can be better but still a good place to stay. Thanks to Sheryl who attended most of my concerns and also the front office team with the housekeeper. I plan to stay here again and am hoping for improvements. …
Checked in because photos looked nice but when i got to the room it had a sink outside and cubicles for the shower and toilet for 4900 you would expect atleast a decent room tried to leave the hotel but they wouldnt refund me 4 hours later tried to take a shower and shower was clogged! Wouldnt stay here again terrible service and restaurant served cold food ordered oso buco and fish and chips both cold like it was frozen! Windows were also dirty and had a motel view. Dont be decieved by the photos online!!!!
The rooms and common areas were clean and well-kept but they asked us for a ‘surprise’ security deposit upon check-in. It was not on the property’s message or general guidelines for checking in — for travelers who are on a budget so it’s a bit off really cause the deposit is ₱ 3,000. I prolly won’t check-in again!
This hotel's service is out of date. This hotel gave me a very bad impression. First, I called in the middle of March to make a reservation, but my reservation was not found in the hotel's system. Nicole is the name of the front-office supervisor. She is simply doing what all other businesses do: she accepts payment and then departs. There was no customer service provided. I waited in the reception area for more than 15 minutes because the Family Suite Room was unavailable. The TV is just a regular flat screen with no access to Netflix or YouTube. THE WIFI signal is weak to non-existent. And, according to Nicole, Marison Hotel is a four-star establishment, which is unlike any other four-star establishment I've stayed in.
