We were greeted by their friendly staff with a welcome drink. We booked 2 Superior Rooms, each room for 2 pax only coz there's only 1 bed. Very comfy bed and we can see Mayon Volcano right outside our window. The hotel is within walking distance to the municipal hall and there's fast food restos nearby. It is also walking distance to Gregory Chapel and there's jeepney, tricycles to go to the malls like SM Legazpi and Ayala Malls. Grab is also available in Legazpi. We had a great overnight stay, clean sheets and comfy beds and the rates comes with buffet breakfast.

A nice, comfortable stay at the Emerald Boutique Hotel. The breakfast options are interesting and more geared towards locals rather than Western tourists. The room is comfortable and clean, the best bed I’ve slept in on this trip so far (we’ve just spent a month in Thailand where beds are notoriously hard). We only stayed on night as we didn’t find a massive amount to do in Legazpi. We took a tour as soon as we arrived which was a little disappointing (it took us to Busay Falls and the Skyline viewing / conference centre) and it was expensive (nothing to do with the hotel I should point out). The staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful. Fine for a one or two night stop off.

This was our first time staying at Emerald Boutique Hotel (EBH). This was our experience… We had originally booked a place to stay via airbnb. However, upon arrival, the place was nothing like the description. So, we didn’t even have to think twice about not staying there. That will have its own review. Getting back to our experience at EBH. Upon our arrival we were greeted with a smile by France. We inquired about a room and was told that they were booked for the night. However, she was kind enough to double check and see if all of the expected guests had arrived. After much effort, she was finally able to accommodate us for the night at the third floor but reserve a second floor for us since my father has a difficulty in climbing stairs. The following day, we were able to transfer to the second floor as promised. A day later after breakfast, we were fortunate enough to meet the hotel’s owner and general manager. Apparently the owner overheard the conversations that we had the night before and wanted to help us. We informed, Mr. Noel and Mr. Leo that we need an accommodations for about 30 days maybe even longer but was informed that we could only stay for only one night since all the rooms are booked. However, we didn’t want to move since we really like the hotel and it is near to some of the offices that we need to go to. After a few more conversations with the owner and the hotel’s general manager, we were told to go to our room and to just relax amd that they will take care of things and will give us an update asap or no later than by close of business. After a few hours, Mr. Leo personally came up to our room to give us the great news that we don’t need to worry and that we can stay in our room. We did receive a call from the front desk in the latter part of the day due to some miscommunications between the staff. I reached out to Mr. Leo to inform him of the situation and he took immediate action to resolve the situation and promised me that such issues would not happen again. Emerald Boutique Hotel is a hidden secret hotel. The service is top notch. The room attendants are on point. The food, I don’t even know where to begin. Let’s just say that I have probably gained a few pounds just from my few days stay thus far. Mr. Renz is also there to assist you if you have any questions. If you’re looking for a five star experience and still want to save money to be able to do other things, look no more. Book your stay at the Emerald Boutique Hotel. What’s nearby: -The Capital building -Laundry facility -Small convenience store -7/11 -Robinsons supermarket -Mr Biggs -Jollibee -Mang Inasal There you have it…what are you waiting for, book your stay now! Sincerely, Tony Boy

We spend one night here before taking a very early flight to Cebu. Hotel closed from the center and really good service, the room was very clean and the staff prepared for us some sandwiches when we left early, very kind from them!

This small hotel offers basic accommodation and has very limited amenities. Nothing luxurious. AC rooms with toilet and shower, hot and cold water, basic toiletries, but no elevator, spa, swimming pool, etc. Its price is quite high considering its lack of amenities. Standard room (single occupancy) costs Php 2,000 a night. Very limited parking slots. However, its location is good ... just a few meters away from the main road, the cathedral, the municipal hall, and so forth.

Modern looking hotel. Well trained uniformed reception staff check you in. Provide keycard and wifi password. Room cleaning is by request. My double room was only 2 floors up the stairs. Good size room with clean bed linen, side tables with lamps, table and wardrobe. Aircon and TV both worked well. Power point beside the bed for recharging. The bathroom was a wet room but the shower area had a curtain. Good hot water and pressure. The breakfast buffet is basically local options but I was content with eggs and toast. Comprehensive menu offers many options for lunch/dinner. Special mention to the daytime security gentleman. Very helpful person.

Emerald Boutique hotel has it takes to make your stay more relaxing and comfortable. The hotel has it all. Ambiance and location is ideal. Aircon and water service is perfect. The surroundings is clean and well maintained. They offer buffet breakfast which for me is already acceptable. The price is affordable. But if you need a much bigger room, you can call them so that they can open it in the website like two bedrooms. The staff is aporoachable.

Called in to inquire but the person on the other line, Chad, was so nice to accept booking via phone call. On the first night, I checked in late and checked out at 4am and they were so nice to prepare a sandwich for my breakfast to go. I got Rm210, a standard room. It was clean except for a used tissue left by the previous guest on the head board. Proof that the room wasn’t cleaned throughly. However, everybody in the hotel was so nice so I liked it. On the second night, I booked via phone and was told that they were fully booked and that the only available room was a deluxe which was Php1,000.00 more expensive than my previous room. I arrived at around midnight, too tired and dizzy from the travel and the guard was so nice to carry my bags when he saw me alight from the service, however, I was made to wait at the front desk until the receptionist finished her phone call before she attended to me. The first thing I noticed when I entered 219 was that there were mosquitoes and the room wasn’t smelling fresh. The bowl was stained with what seems to be something that can easily be removed by a brush with soap and water. It was hard to shower for it was positioned next to a post that occupies most of the space. I was too exhausted to care about the inconveniences. The following day, i learned that the bowl was clogged and when I tried to flush it, it overflowed. I told the receptionist of the problem upon check out and I knew that they called the maintenance before I left. I’m giving it 3 stars because of the exceptional service given by the employees, however, I have misgivings about their cleanliness. Moreover, I expected a better room with the room upgrade, ironically, everything downgraded when I paid more for the room (from the facility to the cleanliness).

After our disastrous time at Fiesta Ballroom Hotel, we had to scour Legazpi City for our next hotel and fortunately we stumbled into this little gem. Emerald Boutique Hotel was literally a life saver after checking out and being refused rooms because most of the hotels in the area are fully booked! We paid P2000 for the room including request for extra bed. We had free breakfast for one so we paid an extra P200/person for the breakfast buffet. The room smelled of freshly washed linens. The beds and the pillows were all soft and smelled nice. The bathroom has all the basics covered - soap, shampoo, and conditioner plus toothpaste and toothbrush. Toilet has bidet and overhead rainshower! Overall, we love this small hotel and will definitely be back.
