This small hotel offers basic accommodation and has very limited amenities. Nothing luxurious. AC rooms with toilet and shower, hot and cold water, basic toiletries, but no elevator, spa, swimming pool, etc. Its price is quite high considering its lack of amenities. Standard room (single occupancy) costs Php 2,000 a night. Very limited parking slots. However, its location is good ... just a few meters away from the main road, the cathedral, the municipal hall, and so forth.

Modern looking hotel. Well trained uniformed reception staff check you in. Provide keycard and wifi password. Room cleaning is by request.
My double room was only 2 floors up the stairs. Good size room with clean bed linen, side tables with lamps, table and wardrobe. Aircon and TV both worked well. Power point beside the bed for recharging.
The bathroom was a wet room but the shower area had a curtain. Good hot water and pressure.
The breakfast buffet is basically local options but I was content with eggs and toast. Comprehensive menu offers many options for lunch/dinner.
Special mention to the daytime security gentleman. Very helpful person.

We were greeted by their friendly staff with a welcome drink. We booked 2 Superior Rooms, each room for 2 pax only coz there's only 1 bed. Very comfy bed and we can see Mayon Volcano right outside our window. The hotel is within walking distance to the municipal hall and there's fast food restos nearby. It is also walking distance to Gregory Chapel and there's jeepney, tricycles to go to the malls like SM Legazpi and Ayala Malls. Grab is also available in Legazpi. We had a great overnight stay, clean sheets and comfy beds and the rates comes with buffet breakfast.

A nice, comfortable stay at the Emerald Boutique Hotel. The breakfast options are interesting and more geared towards locals rather than Western tourists. The room is comfortable and clean, the best bed I’ve slept in on this trip so far (we’ve just spent a month in Thailand where beds are notoriously hard). We only stayed on night as we didn’t find a massive amount to do in Legazpi. We took a tour as soon as we arrived which was a little disappointing (it took us to Busay Falls and the Skyline viewing / conference centre) and it was expensive (nothing to do with the hotel I should point out). The staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful. Fine for a one or two night stop off.

This is a good and affordable choice if you are visiting Legazpi.
Emerald Boutique hotel is near the Albay Provincial Capitol, just two streets away from JP Rizal Ave. A 3-minute walk from the Albay Provincial Plaza and the Rizal Ave. Place is also near the popular Small Talk Cafe and the 24-hour Biggs Diner along JP Rizal Ave.
Price is relatively cheap. PhP1,500 to PhP2,500 price range, good for two. You may also inquire if they have on going promos.
The place is relatively new. Opened just last April 2016. The rooms are clean and cozy. It's also cute. Even the beds and the comfort rooms are cute.
Disadvantage is that, this place may not be good for claustrophobic. Also, foreigners -- Americans, Australians, and Europeans may have a problem as the place has low ceiling and bed sizes may not be for them. It's comfortable but not big enough for big guys.
I recommend the place for locals. Such a good place to stay when in Legazpi City, Albay PH.

I stayed in this hotel early November for one night with free breakfast. The room was very nice, modern and chic. The inside of the room was not that spacious but the interior design was great especially the wall above the bed, the placing of the lights, the color of the curtains and the cabinet. The bed and the pillows are very soft and smells refreshing. The bathroom was nice as well, I loved the smell of the shower gel "island breeze". There's nothing spectacular with the breafast but the dining area was nice. The lobby and waiting area were ordinary as well as the facade of the hotel. There are 3 negative comments that I have that needs improvement: 1. I need to pay in cash for the room eventhough my sister already book the room and provided her credit card information. According to the receptionist they only charge credit card for cancelled booking, we are not informed about that. 2. The wifi was ok but I need to call the receptionist because the wifi provided in my floor was not working and I have to use the wifi provided in other floor, please ensure correct information provided to visitor before they enter the room. 3. Noisy teenagers infront of the hotel during at night. Even if I already informed the receptionist about it the teenagers still created noise that distracted my sleep. The guard should be aware of this and ensure that nobody create noise near the hotel. As a whole, I can say I had a good time here in the hotel and still condering it the next time. For the room alone, I think Php 2k+ is worth it but it is much better if you can improve the negative items that I mentioned.

Booked this hotel based on location, according to map. True enough, this is a convenient place to stay. The hotel is just a few minutes walk to the plaza and the Gregorian Cathedral. If you're not fond of walking, you may ride the tricycles or pedicab. When you reach the center, there are plenty of jeepneys to shuttle you to many places in Legazpi. The staff are nice from our driver, Samson, to the front desk. The room is standard. A bit small for me but shouldn't be a discouragement especially if you will spend most of your time out exploring Legazpi.

The rooms very nice and clean. The staff are nice too. Though, my stay would have been better if they have hair dryers and a lock box where you can leave you important stuff in each room. They dont provide disposable tootbrushes too so make sure you bring your own. Price is okay so I can't really complain.

Hi, We are delighted with your kind and gracious review of our hotel. We might be able to lend you a hair dryer on your next visit in our hotel, although we may not be able to provide a hair dryer on each of our rooms. A safety lock box is available in the front desk for your valuables. But your concerns are duly noted and we hope to improve your experience should you decide to come back and stay with us again. Thank you and have a nice day.
